Property Ratings at Scenic Pines Apartments
These apartments are horrible and run down with literal holes in the walls behind cabinets, plaster peeling off walls, showers with paint that peels up, holes behind faucets where water gets in and mold grows, no working heat/ac for weeks at a time, and more. They can’t keep any managers or maintenance people on staff, and there’s not even a way to contact “corporate” about any of these issues.
Sour washing machines, tall grass. Maintenance never fixes anything. They just like to stick bandaids on things. Bathroom leaked and it took them 3 days to show up. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.
I moved back to Longview this past summer and was staying with my niece here, the office manager Scharlette is great to work with and she made it easy for me to get the apartment; I even have new carpet and flooring. Although it's an old complex, the maintenance works on keeping thing up. Due to the old system, I have had a couple of problems with hot water and heat but they remedy these issues very quickly. They don't treat me as a nuisance when I talk to them about issues; actually they are quite nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend Colony Park to friends that are in need of a good deal.
