so far everyone has been helpful here maintenance has been by a couple of times for issues but they were quick to fix anything

so far i've had a good experience. my ac wasnt working when i moved in but they came out same day and fixed it.

This place is absolutely disgusting. the pest control man has come 3 times the past 10 months i’ve lived here with my best friend. the week we moved in, my friends room and bathroom flooded. as the water leakage was fixed. they left HUGE holes in our walls for weeks. hot water in the master bedroom’s shower is still not fixed. the roaches are AWFUL. i don’t even want to sleep in my own bed. i feel so itchy and nasty all the time. i’ve woken up with roaches in my BED. woken up with bug bites as well. the musty smell never goes away. hidden fees and charges apply so watch out. the maintenance team takes MONTHS to fix anything that’s wrong. have thought about taking this to legal standards multiple times. i do not recommend this apartment complex to ANYONE. do not believe these positive reviews. they are false.

I have lived here for 4 years and the most true thing I can say about this place is, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. The Office The office staff is reasonably nice. We never had any issues with them. However, they don’t notify you when you have a package in the office, so it’s frustrating that packages will sit in the office for days and you won’t be notified. Apartment Finishes Don’t expect much as far as finishes go. It seems they just buy whatever is on clearance at the hardware store, because every apartment has different flooring, counter tops, and cabinets. My shower had 2 different types of tile. I guess they just ran out of one type and said, oh well. So, if that matters to you, make sure you know which unit you’re moving into. Grounds/outside The grounds are decently maintained. It’s nothing fancy, but it’s not terrible. The stairs were replaced/maintenanced a few years ago. When the construction started the workers tore down the stairs, and left no way for us to get in/out of our apartment for the entire day. There was no warning about which day this would happen to our building other than the noise of a jackhammer that morning. Maintenance staff changed many times over the years that I lived there, but overall I can’t complain. Laundry The laundry room is on and off. Sometimes it looks nice, and other times it’s trashed and half the washing machines are filled with water. A while back they changed the washers and dryers to take a preloaded card instead of quarters. Which wasn’t a bad idea, except the machine to reload money onto the card is in the office, not the laundry room. So if you run out of money on the card while the office is closed, you’re out of luck. Rent Rent will go up every time you renew your lease. They ask you to renew sometimes 5 months before your current lease is up and the longer you wait to resign, the more the price goes up. Bugs Expect to see roaches. I am a super clean freak but still always saw roaches. At first I would ask for the professional bug control guy to come but we never saw any improvement. We eventually bought our own stuff to spray but it never got rid of 100% of the bugs.

BELIEVE ALL NEGATIVE REVIEWS OF THIS PLACE. STAY AWAY!!! THERE IS A REASON THE BBB HAS AN "F" RATING FOR DTI PROPERTIES. I had to learn the hard way that I should have heeded the previous review warnings of awful management. Upon move out, I was placed bogus charges on my account, and the dispute team was one-sided and literally listened to NOTHING I said. I was not going to drive 2 hours to fight the complex managers knowing they had made up their mind, and e-mailing the head of collections claims department was like talking to a brick wall because they are a part of DTI apartments, so obviously they will side with the complex manager. I also asked THREE SEPARATE TIMES for my smelly stained carpet to be deep-cleaned, and nobody ever came to at least check the carpet all three times I went to the office to request a deep-clean. The water pressure in my shower was terrible too, and the work order for that was never fulfilled either. Staff is very friendly to your face and acts accommodating, but they are completely different the second you are no longer in their sight. THE AUDACITY OF THIS CRAPPY APARTMENT COMPLEX!!! YOU'RE BETTER OFF STAYING ELSEWHERE BECAUSE SAVING A FEW EXTRA BUCKS ON RENT EACH MONTH WILL GREATLY COST YOU AT MOVE-OUT TIME, AND IN HAVING UNRESPONSIVE MAINTENANCE SERVICE WORK ORDERS.

I'm on my second year at Santa Fe trails, and it has been and overall great experience. The ladies at the front are always super nice, and maintenance is always on top of their game. It is an affordable price compared to the other properties, and they cover water and internet. Santa Fe trails are and overall great property to lease at.

I have lived here for 3 months, i have called and spoke to the office 11 times about fixing my dishwasher (broken since i moved in) and it is still not fixed. I put in many maintenance requests that get forgotten about, maintenance is so slow and doesnt always fix the problem. Office staff are nice, but if you live here, just expect stuff to break and you will have to live with it for a while.

It is very convenient. walking distance to the university campus and they pay for your internet and water. very quiet, however it's a non pet apartment complex so you will have to look elsewhere if you're looking for a place for your puppy
