Don’t live here seriously! This place is poorly managed, no one can be trusted, snow removal is a joke. One positive they kicked out my neighbor quickly. Please read whole review. My problems started before I even moved in. Three weeks before move in they let me know that there was flooding in my apartment, but they assured me my apartment would be ready in time. I came from out of state. I heard nothing until I came to move in and they told me my place wasn’t ready. I had no where else to go with movers and Wi-Fi company to come that day. Luckily after waiting all day and pushing back my mover’s everything was finished that day. Then the ant infestation came. The day after I moved hundreds of ants came out my bathroom wall. They said it would take a week or two for someone to come in and spray. So I took care of it myself and bought spray and other items. My BIGGEST PROBLEM!!! At the time I LIVED ALONG. I also didn’t have anyone over because I was new to the area. I bought an engagement ring for my now wife who lived out of state and had it in a desk. I last saw this ring right before an inspection and a work order. Three people from their staff came into my apartment when I wasn’t there. Again I lived alone and the ring disappeared. I filed a police report, my doors and windows were always lock, and my renters insurance only covered a small portion of what I paid for the ring. Needless to say after that I felt really unsafe living there. I bought multiple cameras (some hidden) and always watched it after they came in. Lastly for the bad, the snow removal. If you are older looking at this place please be careful. There were multiple occasions when I left for work around 7-8am the sidewalks weren’t shelved in the winter. I almost fell a few times because my sidewalk was on a small hill. I noted one time no one came around until 9:30 am. There were two positives. Since I had all the cameras up. I did catch my upstairs neighbor stealing my packages. I turned him into the office and he was quickly evicted. The second is I sadly had to renew my lease, but I enrolled in a home buyers program with them. This allowed me to end my new lease 3 months after it started if I bought a home.

Seriously there is no way you guys have pest control. The amount of bugs at the complex is absolutely sick. Especially near building 1576 O. Or the South West buildings by the white apartment complex. Crazy that we have to pay for something that's not being done. I’ve been reporting a bug issue since May of this year, it’s to the point I’m about to bring in my own exterminator to take care of it

Thank you for expressing your concerns about pest control. We do have pest control that comes out on Wednesday's. If you would like to send and email or call us we most certainly can help you. If you are frustrated with the elm beetles we can help with that as well. Generally in Utah the elm beetles will be out July through August.
I ignored the reviews when I first thought I found this place, thinking it was a hidden gem, but I was very wrong. They will say they replaced the management and upgraded everything, but in reality they just changed the name, hired garbage staff that is the rudest, most childish adults you’ll ever have to deal with, and have the maintenance constantly working on everything apartments because the apartments are falling apart.
Please don’t make the same mistake I did. I currently live here and it’s a nightmare. Maintenance never fixes anything. They charge you extra fees. It is the worst place live! Save yourself the trouble and DO NOT MOVE HERE! Please take my word for it.
They really nice in the beginning and told me they offered 3 different types of tours including virtual tours. I needed a virtual tour, because i live 6 hours from them and they scheduled one for me and even asked for my zoom information! Then not even 5 minutes before our scheduled time they emailed me (after I emailed them multiple times with no reply) and told me they don’t offer virtual tours! Even states on here that they do! Not pleased.

I have called, talked to a maintenance person in person, and set up 3 different times for my closest to be fixed. No one has shown up and fixed it. It has now been 6 months. I got a call from who I think was a manager, and I was unable to answer due to me working. I have called her back multiple times and can never get through. I have also left messages on the machine to call me back, and still nothing. It saddens me that this complexs quality of customer service has depleted since I moved in about 2.5 years ago. I loved it and was treated well at first. Now I cant get anyone to answer me. Its also sad that this all happened after they upped my rent for the same apartment. Now I am paying more for an apartment that is falling apart. I also have a front door that was not fixed properly, and if someone wanted to get into my apartment all they have to do is take a crowbar to the knob. I am very dissatisfied with the quality of work, and customer care I have received since signing my last lease. I definitely will not be recommending this complex again.

Living at Santa Fe has been the worst experience of my life. Ive had 2 cars hit, burglarized, my camera stolen off my balcony at 9:30 at night when everyone was outside, the first apartment I moved into looked nothing like the one they showed me and it smelled like cigarettes so bad and my daughter has medical problems already. At least that was a functional apartment. I transferred to a different unit but was left with no bathroom doors at all, no closet hardware so Im stuck living out of boxes and can never feel like Im truly at home. Im constantly living in fear and anxiety because of these apartments and Im not one to believe in regret but moving here has been nothing but horrible and awful and I hate that I thought that moving here would be a good thing.

Overall quality of management and office staff fair. Don't have enough staff in the office to help. Never reply to Email, never answer office phone, you can never call and get through. Need much bigger more experienced maintenance team

I feel that Sant Fe is a very good place to live. I have been doing some comparisons and Santa Fe provides, great amenities and an excellent location as well as a well rounded Management Team. I do call on occasion and rarely get an answer, I walk over to the office and they are not busy? If your looking for an apartment, I think you would be happy living at Santa Fe.

Not very good. They up rent for an apartment that hasnt changed a bit since the day we moved in. In fact I has gotten worse because things keep falling apart, and the maintenance team never does anything in a timely manner, and when they do finally come around after you pretty much beg them to they either look at it and then forget about you again to where you have to beg for another person to actually come out and fix it, or they come back and fix it the cheapest way they possibly can.

My overall experience at Santa Fe Apartments has been good. I love the location, the lease term flexibility, and that we were able to snag a two bedroom. The leasing staff was great to work with, and got us into an apartment quickly. We did have a maintenance issue come up very early on, but maintenance was responsive, and the issue seems to be taken care of. My only complaint would be the pool, which does not seem to have an enforced closing time, and stays quite busy late into the night.

Friendly staff, clean grounds because of the innovative dog DNA swabbing and good location. I only wish they would put a light at the entrance, which I believe is a city issue, because it is very hard to turn left safely onto Ft. Union Boulevard during high-traffic times.

Santa Fe is a great place to live! Excellent amenities.The best location in Utah. You have grocery stores, restaurants and quick freeway access right in your backyard. The management team is friendly & efficient. If you have a maintenance problem, you get prompt and professional response. The residence are friendly and the apartments are very nice. I've been here almost 5 years and it feels very much like home! If you are searching for a nice place to live, I would diffently check out Santa Fe.

Terrible management, been through 2 management companies & numerous managers & office staff in the 6 years I have been there, maintenance crew too small for a place that big, slow to respond, poor quality excuse. If anyone can help it, do Yourself a favor DON'T move in here. For those who already reside, DON'T recommend it to others. Amenities are terrible, they are NEVER well maintained, Even before Pandemic amenities were hardly ever accessible or well maintained, the buildings were repainted when it didn't need it, waste of money, it could have been spent elsewhere on removing old style AC units, re-modeling decks but never was, the cleanliness of the place is absolutely terrible maintenance never sweeps the walkways or clean the pull or shovels walks or ice melts them so in winter You have to be careful. Nothing but the worst experience. 1 out of 5 stars, give it negative -5.

The complex is fine. Great location and great amenities. The staff is nice and we havent had any issues. Just wish there were more maintenance guys. Such a bummer to wait so long for certain issues to be resolved.

My dishwasher hasn't worked in over three weeks. No one can tell me if maintenance will come. The manager won't answer. And this is the 2nd time. Two years ago, my dishwasher didn't work for 2 months. They brought me several broken dishwashers, and then we're irritated with me, for making them come back. My heat has been out 7 times, since mid November During the only storm this winter, I was told it was too far to come to fix it. They didn't show up until after 11am the next day. I had to wake my kids, at 4am, to stay over at grandma's for the night. This is a pandemic. I am trying to be patient. But they have gotten 3 apartments ready and rented, in my building, since my dishwasher broke. They obviously have people for the things they care about.

Overall I love living at Santa Fe. The complex, pools, hot tubs, etc are always clean and well kept. It conviently located to shopping, schools, churches, the bus line and the freeway.

Overall good experience. Close to everything which is very convenient. If covid hadn't ruined everything we would have great access to a gym and a pool. Apartments are decent sized, with good cabinets and appliances, but the floors could use an upgrade as they aren't the best quality and become damaged from furniture just being sat on. Management team is very nice, and work orders have always been handled promptly. I like that this is a smoke free community however some tenants do not follow the rules and because ventilation is all connected our apartment smells overwhelmingly of cigarettes and marijuana. Management has sent several notices to the other tenants but people are going to do what they want it seems.

Santa Fe has been a nice place to live..... however, dont expect maintenance to get done timely or your money to be worth the value of the apartment. Oh, and dont expect them to care if you get bitten by a resident's dog.

It used to be a beautiful place to live. But now many trees have been cut down, maintenance requests take months to be responded to, fees and surcharges make the rent a different amount every month and rent is absurdly expensive. No longer worth it living here.

Community is fine, but in 4 years, it is impissible to get ahold of the front office, no emergency/afterhours help, and maintanance is great when they come (unless it is a dishwasher problem (in a month plus they brought me 5 broken dirty dishwashers), but it can be pretty hard to get them here.

Management is incompetent at best and negligent at worst. If you ever need to contact them for any reason (even if it is to pay rent), plan on making at least 10 phone calls that all go to voicemail regardless of time of day. This has been my experience on multiple occasions. Maintenance is slow to act and I still have issues that they have not resolved. We've gone through three different management companies and not one of them has been pleasant to work with. I regret signing another year long lease with these people.

Lived here for less than a month. Love the location. April in the office gave us a lot of good information and helped us through the process very well. She has been exceptional and patient with all our questions and concerns and has welcomed us to come with any feedback. I appreciate that a lot. Maintenance has been pretty good about the job they do in our apartment, but they have a lot to do so it takes time for things to get around to being worked on.

Santa Fe Apartments is a terrible place to live it was A big mistake moving here. Renter beware do not rent from Santa Fe Apartments, The office staff are oblivious and do not show any Concern whatsoever, April in the office has lied to me on several occasions hung up the phone on me, the alleged manager is never around to talk to do not rent from Santa Fe!!

It's decently priced, maintenance could use some work but otherwise no major complaints. When talking about the utility bills make sure there is a better understanding of how much that could be and how it is divid out to apts.

You will always have issues, whether it be a home or apartment. I hear a lot of negative comments but I try & remain positive. It's a beautiful community, well kept and an excellent location. Used to be a good place to live, but now it's gone really down hill. The management don't answer their phones (ever) or return any voicemails (ever). It is possible to get the manager to return emails or get help by walking down to the leasing office in person. They are now putting AC compressors on the resident's balconies which is a huge safety risk and fire risk (they are putting them directly on carpeted balconies - and it takes up half of the balcony). There are homeless people using drugs behind the trash bins and leaving needles on the ground. There is dog poop all over the place. The amenities are all broken (even new ones) most of the time. It took an ENTIRE summer to get my AC fixed last year. It finally got addressed at the end of summer when we put in the request before spring started. It's not safe to rent here. Look elsewhere.
This condo has been a disappointment to my family. We always pay our rent on time and we are good residents, abiding by all the rules of the condo, however we feel that we are treated as rubbish. Our apartment is old and always needs maintenance, however they take weeks to repair any problems. In the maintenance requirement, they mark as if the service had been done, but it's a lie. My shower was broken for almost a month and no matter how many times I asked for maintenance, they don't care. Now the problem is with my kitchen and dishwasher that has been broken for over two weeks, leaking water all over the floor and they are not coming to fix it. My daughter has already fallen down and got hurt because of it and I am extremely stressed. On the website, they say they fixed it, but nobody shows up at home. I am so sad and stressed about all this that I just want to terminate my contract, but they will not allow it, charging me an exorbitant fine, even knowing that it is their fault and that they do not provide a decent service. We are disappointed and only thought of taking this case to court, because it is not possible to live in a place like this, without dignity and being treated with such carelessness and disrespect
