Bad office staff, bad maintenance, dirty apartment grounds

During our time here we encountered numerous problems. The first time we ran our dishwasher it flooded the kitchen. Only one of our burners worked and maintenance came in "fixed" two of them and took one of the burners and said he would be back to replace it. The two burners stopped working again after a week or two and he never came back with a new burner. Our water heater stopped working about half way into our lease and we had maintenance in twice and they didn't fix it. The first maintenance man told us to just press the button whenever we wanted hot water so that's what we did for the rest of our lease. The toilets and sinks rusted horribly, which I have never experienced in an apartment or house before. We briefly had cockroaches in our apartment, but that wasn't a surprise considering every time we walked our dog for 10 minutes we saw at least 20 cockroaches on the sidewalks. There are also scorpions that roam around outside and will get into your apartment. The walls here are very thin and if your bed is against a share walled you will definitely be able to hear couples being intimate. There are plenty of people that throw their trash on the ground so the apartment grounds are a mess. The office never responds to their phone calls. We have had multiple incidents where we consistently try to call and email and they don't respond, but the few times I would go into the office they would just be chatting in the back.

NO 12 MONTH LEASES. Only 6 month leases. Been here 7 years ... lots of good families, single and retired folks will be forced out. This will be a transient community. Trash not being cleaned up. Landscaping sucks. Flowering bushes trimmed back as soon as they bloom.

Highly recommend

Have lived here for a few months. Affordable living. Although if you do not fall under the income restrictions you will probably be paying 200-300 more. Staff is really nice. Great location and they keep the area looking nice. They are also pretty quick when it comes to maintenance. I do recommend.

Comfortable

I've got the perfect spot in front of the apartment complex, I've got trees and the swimming pool basically rite in front of my apt. with another pool in the back of our complex. The staff is very friendly and helpful and gets the job done in a timely manner. The maintenance staff are also friendly and we've got one named Dave that gets rite on the job and gets it done. The people are pretty friendly here and I have really good neighbors. Brenda F. Gilbert AZ

LUXURY LIVING AT AN AFFORDABLE PRICE

San Clamente Apartments is a gated community. Ammenities include two swimming pools, a basketball court, a playground, and a fitness center. Each unite features a refrigerator, stove, a microwave, dishwasher, and a washer and dryer. A wonderful park is right next to the community. Nestled along Power Road, your children will go to award winning schools and is part of the exclusive Power Ranch community. You have shopping, entertainment, and easy freeway access. Come home to luxury that is affordable. Come home to San Clamente.

Upon move in the apartment was beyond filthy. But after cleaning up has been ok since. Maintenance is very helpful and takes care of issues in a timely manner. Great location!

Good Place to Live

It's somewhat dated but I guess you get what you pay for. Rent is really inexpensive, so if you are in a situation where you can't pay the high rent in Gilbert/Chandler its a good alternative.
