Sailboat Bay is wonderful if you are looking for a quiet and safe community.

It’s an average apartment complex. Nothing special. Only thing going for this complex is the location to some awesome lake trails.

Sailboat Bay has beautiful landscaping, clean and quiet area, extremely friendly staff, and great location. Love it!

I love living at Sailboat Bay. It is a safe quiet and peaceful community. The best feature is that it is right on lake Lynn. I can go for a walk or a bike ride around the lake without having to drive anywhere. The community is wonderful. The management and maintenance teams are also wonderful. I've lived here for many years and can't imagine living anywhere else.

Sailboat Bay has been a pretty great place to live. Good location, plenty of parking, good management, very pet friendly. The apartments themselves are on the older side, but Sailboat Bay seems to consistently make repairs and updates as necessary.

It's a place to call home, be safe, and clean and friendly neighbors.

Sailboat Bay has been amazing. They are always there to answer any concerns or questions. The move-in process was smooth and easy. The Property managers are awesome and the maintenance team responds to repairs and emergencies very quickly. The environment is peaceful, quiet and beautiful all at the same time.

Sailboat Bay is a quiet, clean community. The amenities that keep me here are the beautiful Lake Lynn with its 2 1/4 mile walk trail, the friendly neighbors, and the updated apartment.

My experience here has been very positive. I enjoy the assistant manager Christopher, working with him was easy and he was very informative. After moving in there were minor maintenance request which were fulfilled immediately and that was my biggest hope for as a new resident, I now feel valued as a resident here And I will definitely recommend.

I have recently moved here and am very happy. The managerial staff is awesome and the bldg and surrounding area are extremely quiet.

My move to Sailboat Bay has been very pleasant. The application was processed very quickly and everything was handled very professionally. I love the apartment and the access to the lake and trail. Maintenance also responds promptly which is always a plus!

The community is great and maintenace staff are great. I just have so many issues in my apartment. Mice problem, insects, spiders, nasty smell from vents and water leaks.

I enjoy living here! The beautiful lake in the back and being surrounded by nature adds to the lovely scenery. The apartments themselves are nice and quiet.

Overall, worth the living for the value, price, and amenities. Definitely one of the best values for an apartment complex in all of Raleigh. Would recommend for sure.

I've lived at Sailboat Bay for over 7 years and love the community and staff. Amenities are great, especially being lakeside. Staff members are a pleasure to work with and the maintenance guys get right on repairs and are great to work with also. I can't imagine another community doing it better.

Having lived at Sailboat Bay for quite some time, I've enjoyed the quiet, friendly and peaceful environment, as well as the convenience of the location. For the most part, my experience has been an enjoyable one.

After 6 years at Sailboat Bay I have nothing but good things to say. Management, staff and maintenance guys are all great! The property is well-maintained, nice pool, tennis courts, basketball goal, dog park, grilling center, package pick-up room, and of course Lake Lynn.

Sailboat Bay is a safe, quiet community perfect for pet owners! It is easily accessible to stores and shops in Raleigh, as well as the North Carolina State University campus by car.

We lived there for over a year, we had 2 holes in our roof that would leak when it rained they were notified and marked it as fixed and never did anything about it. The whole apartment smelled musty it would stay on your clothes, both upstairs and downstairs neighbors smoked. There was mold in the bathroom. Took them over 3 months to return our deposit, they only returned $30 and didn't even give us a reason for why they kept the other $850. They also have their office staff write reviews for them, the person that rented us our apartment has a review. The smoking and mold in the walls was affecting us so badly we leased a new apartment a month before our Sailboat lease was up and left the sailboat apartment empty for a month. Be careful when renting the reviews make the apartment seem great, it isn't. It is actually the worst apartment I have ever lived in. Not only are they shady, we had to contact them 4 times to get any deposit back, no itemized list or anything on their part just a $30 check.

We love living here and the upgrade to a bigger apartment was awesome

So far I've loved living at Sailboat Bay. Being so close to Lake Lynn is wonderful and the maintenance team is super responsive and helpful! I feel safe living here alone as a young single female and I appreciate how close this complex is to grocery stores, restaurants, 540, etc.

Sailboat Bay is a GREAT apartment complex! As a young, single woman living alone, I was nervous about safety when finding an apartment complex. I haven't felt anything but safe since moving here in August, 2019. Anytime I have a question or concern, I get a reply from the management staff within the day, usually within the hour! I plan to live here the next few years while I'm in school! I'm very satisfied with my living situation here!

Sailboat Bay is a nice place to live. The property management is responsive and friendly, especially Geoff. The apartments are extremely quiet - I almost never heard my neighbors - and thus sleeping and having peace and quiet is no problem at all. The proximity to the lake was really nice, and afforded a nice connection to nature - while living around the lake you will become familiar with all the animals who live there year-round. The only downside was that there is sometimes a musty smell in some of the apartments, so if you are sensitive to that, it may be challenging for you. Thanks, Geoff, for helping make my time at Sailboat Bay enjoyable!

Sailboat Bay has definitely exceeded all expectations.

I looked at multiple apartment complexes before landing on Sailboat Bay. What helped me to decide was the reasonable prices, the well-maintained pool and gym, and above all, the consistently quick response time of the staff. I have loved my time living here so far and would highly recommend this place for anyone wanting a quiet, peaceful place to live!

I lived at Sailboat Bay with my big dog for several years in a 1bd/1bth unit. Reasonable prices, good location, and great service kept me renewing my lease. I had to move because I needed a larger apartment, but overall my experience at this community was positive. The office staff was helpful and knowledgeable, the maintenance staff was responsive and friendly, and the grounds were well maintained. The community has lake access and several useful amenities, and I really liked the free gift wrapping station during Christmas time. Moving out was smooth, but in the fuss I forgot about paying my last water bill. I found it very convenient that the complex deducted the last bill from my security deposit refund, and saved me the extra step of paying another bill. Also, my neighbors were friendly, I never had any door dings from careless individuals, and most people clean up their pet mess. This community should be high on your search list.
