I toured the other day with Alyssa and all I can say is wow! Alyssa was helpful, informative, and upbeat throughout the whole process. She showed me a one bedroom apartment and the size of the apartment was great for the price! Super spacious, updated, and perfect for what I need. Great location and everyone I have interacted with is super friendly! I highly recommend Sahara and playa palms to anyone!

I've been here 7 months and I have nothing but good things to say about this property. It is so peaceful no one participates in drama or gets too much in your business. Everyone is busy enjoying life, the beautiful community and the upgraded interior. Pet friendly too.

New management is Very greedy. They raised my rent 600$. Which it’s not worth it at all. Very old apartment, old damaged appliances, Maintenance is horrible. Rude staff. Stay a way of this horrible place!!!
The city water line exploded in the parking lot flooding the parking lot and now there is a crater and and mud everywhere. These apartments were for low income families before they were bought by chamberlin & associates. No improvements have been made since they put their sign on the property. You will hear all of your neighbors from every direction through the walls.
Rent is rising all over the East Valley, so I expected an increase with the new lease. however a raise of $600 including over $100 with new tickets tacky charges? I don't think so. $75 to rent a tiny, old stacker washer and dryer that has been in my apartment for 3 years already. No thank you All of the appliances are older, the amenities are basically non-existent, and the pool is tiny for the size of the complex. The greed of the new management company is both mind boggling and disappointing.
Sahara palms was once a beautiful place to live. Chamberlin + Associates have ruined this place. Please stay away from here as they are full of greed and are very mischievous in order to take money from you. The team is very inconsiderate of tenants and overall just houses atrocious service. Save yourself the time and money, stay away. Take care
The headline says it all. Raising rents to astronomical amounts are causing A LOT of issues not to mention all the things which have gone downhill since they took over. No 24 hr security patrol anymore, grounds are not being kept up like they used to, the pool & hot tub always seem to have problems and the apartments are older. So, the rents need to stay the same! Please, we need more people speaking up about what is happening. I am hopeful mgmt will RECONSIDER what they’re doing (as it’s not good business) and just keep the rents as is. I’m a single mom and this stresses me out as I’m sure it does many.
We lived here for 3 years and thank God we had the opportunity to move out when we did. We were lucky enough to not be living here when the new management started, but from what I hear (from other people we know who are still residents) it’s not good. First off, the rent has doubled, which is INSANE for the conditions of these apartments. It should be illegal to raise the prices of something that is 100% not to the standards of those prices. Everything in the apartments is outdated, and the lowest quality fixtures, appliances, countertops, flooring, etc. I definitely do not recommend these apartments to anyone. Now the current residents are put in a really tough situation, facing their rent doubling in price. Not good practice at all.
I have lived here for a few years. Within the last year I had the most issues. Leaking ceiling that took nearly 3 mos to fix right. Dishwasher was broke almost 2 months before they replaced it. New one leaks. The fridge would never seal and just open when we go in kitchen and took a few months of that before it was replaced. Now I find out rent is going up $1048 per month and they think because places around charge this it's ok. First off this is an older complex. There is nothing fancy here. Yes many are roomy. But these are older apartments that aren't upkept way they should be. Not to mention that most that live here can not afford this insane increase for their corporate greed! They don't have to raise to these amount especially for units that aren't even renovated!! How about you fix and renovate before ripping renters off. Many have called this their home for years and now are being forced to move. For this rent there are far nicer complexes and amenities. The pools are crap, as well is what they call a gym. I so disappointed with new management and what they are doing to all these residents. I am a single mom and I never felt so stressed about where I will go with my kids than now. I don't have family to lean on!
New management just raised my rent 110% also all my neighbors rent got raised 110%. They turned the water pressure way down. They took the 24 hour security away. The pool hasn't been open since they took over. Sad that they are doing this to people.
Previous management was fair with prices, new management wants a $700 price increase from previous lease Amount for the same run down room.
