Property Ratings at Saddlewood Apartments
I thought a more recent review would be nice, I read reviews often and usually rely on them to make a sight unseen decision. I moved in to my ground floor unit back in December of 2024. My unit was newly remodeled and everything looked so nice and clean. I have LOVED living here. Any maintenance things that pop up are handled same day, the maintenance does a great job and are really friendly. Management has always been quick and helpful in their responses. I really have nothing bad to say about this place. I love my unit and I see myself staying here for a while.
Saddlewood apt is the best! Moved here to olathe KS from San diego CA in 2017. Edith is outstanding with managing saddlewood apts.We cant Complain about anything,It’s quiet,clean and the maintenance team always gets the job done! We love it here!!!
Horrible Management! Apartment was full of mold !!! Also we was in the apartment with our 2 year old son! Manger did nothing !

I just left there and someone else commented on it being like a jail. The management makes you feel like your in middle school and sends a note out if you breathed wrong. I watched people that had just moved in have the persons truck towed that was helping them move. I left the apartment spotless with no animals or kids and they wouldn't give back my security deposit. The manager Lisa writes a check to her family member for the same amount of the deposit and says that it was to clean the apartment. Very shady place.

We have since changed management and are constantly working to make Saddlewood an enjoyable community for all.
The management and maintenance team is wonderful. Lisa does her job and those who complain are generally the ones that don't like following the rules. Parking is tight however if there wasn't permit parking then paying residents wouldn't have a place to park. I lived there for 2 years and never had a problem. You call and they come immediately. I love Saddlewood and would live there again.
I would highly recommend you do not lease an apartment here. The Manager, Lisa runs the complex like its a Jail and she is hateful. Her minions (AKA Maintenance men )watch everything you do and report back to her. Its the craziest thing I have ever seen. You can't even have guests overnight and if you do have a guest stop by, they tow their car. The tow truck service come 3-4x's a day. I felt trapped and couldn't wait until my lease was up! I feel like I have been released from jail.
I lived here for one year and eagerly moved-out as soon as lease expired. Mold-infested units. Dangerous parking lots filled with potholes. Rude management. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.
