Property Ratings at Saddleback Ranch Apartments
We have lived here for more than 10 years and we have regretted every moment. Bugs, outdated living conditions, poor management, crappy parking situation, THEFT AND ASSAULT HAVE GONE UNADDRESSED… sure, this is a cheaper place to live and you get what you pay for, but it’s all some of us can afford - and it’s not even livable. Don’t bring your families here. Don’t bring any possessions that you’re really attached to here. You can absolutely expect your car to either be vandalized or robbed - my wife lost her catalytic converter from our carport and management did nothing; a neighbor we know had his rims stolen and came out to his car on concrete blocks. Another neighbor was choked out by a male resident in the laundry room. Management will turn your water off with no notice FOR HOURS - I was on the TOILET once and barely had enough water to flush - had to go to a nearby Target to wash my hands; water took TWO HOURS to come back. JUST DO NOT COME HERE. SAVE YOURSELVES. I hope you’re not laughing because this is not a joke. Please. You deserve better than what this place offers.
my husband and i lived almost 3 years in this apartments and have no complaints at all, we feel really grateful with the manager, all the office staff, and the people of maintenance, our personal experience the place is great. thank you Margaret, Belinda, and nelly.
there are roaches everywhere and its impossible to get rid of them
I have been living here for more than 10 years and need to express how great the customer service is here and also how great the grounds are kept. Belinda & Margaret are always giving me the best customer service and help me in every way that they are able to. In the past year, I have seen a great improvement in the maintenance staff. I am happy to live here & will always recommend to anyone that ask.
Impolite staff, facilities are old and in terrible conditions, hostile environment, the green areas are deplorable unsafe place to live and rent
This place is horrible, not only will you be living with bugs and deal with horrid parking. The staff are FAR from pleasant to deal with. Margarite and Belinda are filled with attitude and are not helpful at all. In order to get anything done you'll need to go down to the office, which they both love leaving early everyday so make sure you get there way before the actual closing time that is stated. Parking is a joke. You get one spot, pay 50 bucks a month for a second spot and it's nowhere near your apartment
Parking rules are the worst, the main manager goes around checking permits at all hours, this place is known for having cars towed every day. Renters with two cars don't get to use guest parking spots, they have to park up a hill about a block away. The roaches and ants are a big problem, especially during summer. Management will tell you there are no bugs, yes there is!! Look at the entrance door, most of them have a gap that allows the bugs to crawl right in. The AC is a small fan stuck to the wall in the living room. You can't even feel it during summer. Cant wait to move out of this place.
Well....what can I say about the worst apartment complex I know of... A whole lot!!! First area to cover.....LAUNDRY. You will not have clean clothes anymore because you won't be getting a washer and dryer with your minimum 1600$ a month rent. The ones they provide for you will be a good walk away from your apt and when you get there the old quarter operated washers and dryers will either take your money because they are broken and not labeled as such or someone else will take your laundry out early. It's happened to me countless times. They're always problems using the community laundry machines. If you look around the area there's plenty of other options out there for apartments that have washer and dryer hookups, especially if you are willing to spend just a little bit more, but because of how crazy old saddleback ranch is....just forget about it. Onto the next item....PARKING. There is none. Period. You will have a spot to park in and that's it. Next Item....the APARTMENT It's pretty bad. All cabinets and drawers have never been replaced and they continue to just paint over everything so the cabinets are sticky and gooped with paint. It is often difficult to open and close cabinets and drawers because the layers of paint are so thick and sticky. This goes for the front door as well. The counter tops and sinks are also painted over, so forget about trying to clean them. The paint also peels off from the sink and around the faucet and fixtures. The linoleum is poorly placed and placed over old linoleum, so it peels up. The cracks between the linoleum makes it so difficult to keep clean. The balconies are made of dried out and rotted wood so the termite infestation around here is uncontrollable. This place would need to be bulldozed to get rid of the termites. Don't forget about the roaches and spiders too. Tons! The foundation of the building is sagging and you can feel the downward slope as you walk through the apartment. Because of the foundation issues, we are unable to close the bedroom door ever. The electrical is poorly constructed and unsafe. We had an electrical circuit blow and cause smoke. Dangerous! There is absolutely no insulation in the windows, so if you want to run the air conditioner or heater, you will have to keep it on all day to stay cool. The windows rattle from simply walking through the apartment. Oh and our air conditioner will only turn on if we are lucky. CONCLUSION.... For the love of god don't live here...
I love the feel of nature and the outdoors. When you open your window and look outside, you can hear birds chirping and the water running through the creek into the woods. It is very relaxing. a benefit is that there are 2 pools which are great to beat the summer heat. one downside is that management does change often, so you don't get that personal contact/connection. however, they do seem nice and professional.
If u don't mind living with roaches or maintenence lagged I'mean for all and all the staff is great but apartments definently need to be updated for as much high rent is
