Property Ratings at Royal Oaks Apartments
I've lived at Royal oaks for 4 years now and have nothing but good things to say about the staff and upkeep. The apartment manager, Pam, is great and really cares about all of the tenants and takes their concerns seriously. Maintenance are quick and know what they're doing. I've had more experiences with Kevin than anyone else and he's always been knowledgeable, willing to explain the issue to me, prompt, and friendly to me, my husband, and our cat! I love that our complex has it's own gym and my favorite part is the pool.
apartment was very nice outside very clean in side close to stores near to city bus churches near by very nice apartment.very nice visiting there.
Pros: First off, Ill start by saying that this apartment has good management and good staff. Nice workout room and pool. It's kept up nicely. Tanning bed available, too! I never used it though. They are always making improvements on the buildings. They are redoing all of the hallway walls and carpeting now, brand new stuff! It's always clean, there are a lot of laundry rooms, so you never have to wait for laundry. The maintenance people are good, and always finding something to improve upon. I requested a fix, and they were there in 5 minutes. Done in half an hour. The lawn always looks top notch (I work in lawn care). Enough space to grow vegetable garden on the patio and still have table and chairs. They Allow Cats. They have recycling, which i utilized a lot! Dishwasher and garbage disposal :) My Cons: Not all of the apartments have black appliances (which I would have much preferred) Not that the appliances look bad, but a preference thing. My apartment didn't have hardwood in the living room, only carpet. There was wood laminate in the kitchen and dining area that looked REALLY nice though. They only allow cats, no dogs or "exotic" animals. The pet fee is a little steep. 30/ month, half of pet deposit non-refundable. Rent is a little steep, but it's because they are improving the apartments all the time, and have good staff. But if you want those things at a little higher rent, then this is a good place.
The apartment building looks nice and clean, except there's some interesting smell in the hallway and stairs. Decided not to move there, because found a better one.
