My husband and I retiring early next fall and want to spend half our time in the St. Pete area. I recently toured the Rowan apartments with Liz Wood. She was very nice, informative and spent time with me even though it will be 5-6 months before we’re ready move. After touring other complexes,and meeting other leasing agents, I can say we look forward to moving into Rowan. The office staff and our tour guide were welcoming and very nice. The management office matters, especially when we will not be here all the time. I will feel confident Rowan will fit our needs. The diversity of ages is also appealing! Not an “old people” place. Disgusting how many silverfish we have had. 5 months of treatments and nothing has improved. They don't seem concerned about this all. We kill them everyday on the walls ceilings, furniture even our clothes. We have been there over 2 years and this problem since management change has been unbearable. We are moving because they don't seen concerned so it will only get worse. Tried contacting Rangewater the owners but they don't respond. Building 4 is infested with Silverfish.

We just moved in and are already having issues. Two months prior to move in, we toured the apartment and noticed scratches on the floors and sink. We were advised these would be taken care of and that maintenance still had not come to do an official clean. On move in day, I could see that no effort was made to clean the floors or the sink. It is very easy to replace a scratched sink or obtain a cleaner that works to remove them. We had to get down on the floor ourselves and use a magic eraser to try to get out the scratches from the floor. It looks much better but they are still there. This proves they made no effort to even try to clean the floors. The toliets were also filthy, as well as the bottom of the main shower and I had to request that they be cleaned. They are refusing to do anything about the scratches on the floor or the scratched sink. I know these are cosmetic issues. However, that doesn’t matter. When you move in, you expect everything to be in good condition, and expect that issues will be appropriately resolved. The worst issue, however, is that pink insulation is coming out of one of the vents. This is a health concern. Apparently not enough insulation was installed initially. I was advised that additional insulation was added a couple months prior to move in and it was not cleaned out properly yet. If this reoccurs, I am contacting the health department. This is honestly embarrassing for them. Not sure how long we’ll be staying here once our lease is up. I am not happy with how they respond to issues. Moving is already stressful and all of these issues have magnified that stress. Do better.
They allow dogs to poop/pee everywhere. They don't take care of the grounds I.E dog park is consistently gross/destroyed. Pool maintenance is lacking. Staff is terrible.
If you’re looking for community long term this is NOT the place for you!! 1 of the first residence in bldg 1 last year. I was impressed just like everyone, but if you look today at available units, you will notice that majority of the available units are now in bldg 1 because the way they handle their lease renewals, drastic increases, & quality of this place has gone down. They require 60 day notice to vacate You only get 7 to decide to renew. Verify their policies before moving in!
I live more than 1000 miles away from FLORIDA. I called and asked for more information on trash, utility, and cost. Conner answered the phone with an angry tone & extremely disrespectful. I asked him to email the information, he hung up the phone without asking my email address. Connor, if you don't like your job, please quit. You have no right to be mean & disrespect your customers.
