Located in Southern California's Inland Empire, Riverside combines historic architecture with contemporary living. As the birthplace of California's citrus industry, the city features landmarks like the iconic Mission Inn Hotel & Spa in downtown and the University of California, Riverside campus. Mount Rubidoux and numerous parks offer outdoor recreation throughout the city. Housing options include historic properties in the Wood Streets neighborhood and residential communities in Orange Crest and Alessandro Heights. Current rental rates range from $1,480 for studios to $2,632 for three-bedroom units.
Downtown Riverside features the restored Fox Performing Arts Center, which premiered "Gone with the Wind" in 1939. Victoria Avenue showcases the city's agricultural roots with historic citrus groves, while the California Citrus State Historic Park preserves this important heritage.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Rock Ridge
The “AC units” don’t work. There is no heating unit or central air and the ceilings aren’t insulated so the weather really effects your home. 3 bedrooms have 1 bathroom not 2 and no balcony or patio for upstairs units. The pool is never clean and there is a major bug problem as well.
I recently moved in 12/2023 at the time our property manager was not on it. We did have a pest control issue that took 3 months for resolution. At the time during summer there were a lot of roaches. I was miserable and found one in my bed!!! They informed me that they are water bugs and they’re coming from the outside. I will say that the water bugs are a big issue especially during summer. I’m updating my review to 5 stars because recently there has been a new property manager assigned who’s literally amazing! She’s on it. It went from months and begging for repairs to repairs being done within a few days. I can definitely say that this is a place you want to live because the new property manager Stephanie takes our concerns seriously. I did mention to her the roach issue from last year and she’s all over it. She has pest control coming early she’s on it! Always trying to make sure we are good! I am much happier being here.

Rock Ridge has been a great living experience, the backyards are large and there is tons of natural light. Staff has been very accommodating and friendly and easy to work with. The pool area and surroundings makes me feel like I am living in a private oasis.

Thank you for taking the time to share your positive experience living at Rock Ridge! We appreciate your kind words and will be sure to relay this feedback to the team.
I just moved out because I had to move for work. I was sad to move. The units here are renovated and super nice. The unit I moved into after leaving Rock Ridge was a big step down which was something I didn't realize until after I moved. Management was good and I loved living somewhere where I could walk to the store or to get coffee across the street.
