Property Ratings at Robert Treat - All Utilities Included
I began my apartment search in late February and I am happily moved in at Robert Treat currently. Throughout the application process, Carmen answered every phone call immediately and every email quickly. I also observed current tenants coming in during office hours and she was accessible and helpful. I had a lot of questions and each one was answered so I felt very comfortable signing my lease. Upon moving in, my dishwasher, Samsung microwave and appliances were all brand new. Everything was spotless and clean, including the brand new carpets. All cabinets were lined and it was clear the maintenance team took care in preparing the apartment for a seamless move in experience. I also had the chance to do laundry and there are commercial washing machines/dryers that fit a lot of clothes and work well. The laundry app makes it very easy and you don’t need to carry cash. Finally, the grounds are well lit, well maintained, and my neighbors have been very welcoming. There is numbered parking and plenty of visitor parking. This has been my honest experience and I couldn’t be happier in my new home.

Not a place to call 'home'. Management does not care of the tenant's needs. Have recently personally experienced. Management did not take care of the 'emergency' we faced.

They put 24 hrs mentenance if emergency my room full of water coz of the rain all the ceiling leaking and water came inside the room through window ... i called them they refuse to come first then i said come and see the situation, that you will know the condition it might be you dont know after rain stop ... so they come. He easily said i will come tomorrow ... i cant do nothing about it now ... my concern if you cant solve it emergecy mentenance why you put in website 24 hrs mentanance ...dont believe this apartment they talk very hrash as they giving you a free stay ...no mercy at all and situation of tenants problem very noisy as they said cleaning.Bill and Dan they feels like a boss of the apartment ...
The building manager, Bill, is EXTREMELY rude. When I asked him to view the apartment, he rudely responded with no! so my husband and I signed the lease blindly ( I was desperate to move in so I did so). Any maintenance problem will be left unattended for at least 3 weeks before someone shows up and fix the problem and by that time, it has already worsen. The inside could use a new hard wood floors. They look dirty and worn since day one. The laundromat which is pretty far is dirty, unattended to and is always broken. The place could use a fresh coat of paint and the vent was given to us dirty and clogged up - the place felt rushed into for the new tenant. Even with all those problems, my MAIN reason for not recommending this place is because of BILL. I am telling you, he is rude and will increase your rent every year. And even if you sign an increase on the the renewal lease, he will say he made an "error" and he will increase it another $140 or so even AFTER the lease has been signed by both parties. Unbelievable! RUN!
The guy who handles maintenance for Robert Treat & New Port Apartment has horrible attitude problem. Does not listen to the issue and does not care for the tenants problem. Any issues reported takes months together to address it with so many reminders and personal touch. Basically people stays in this community are good but suffers a lot because of poor maintenance.

spacious apartments but no facilities like microwave dishwasher . low lights in the neighborhood which promotes antisocial elements getting inside the community. Managment is not prompt to service any complaints
