I sincerely appreciate the can-do attitude and willingness to help on short notice at Riverside Apartment Homes. I have lived at Riverside for 12 months and just extended my lease for 15 more months because my new apartment as a transfer was a smooth and a stressfree transition. I recommend Riverside Apartments to Veterans and Dependents going to college because the location is prime and rent costs are reasonable. In addition, the new leadership has really been great at this location, and I can really tell the differences. Also, you do not really need a vehicle, and everything is centrally located with buses and trams. I look forward to living at this apartment complex for the next 15 months while I build credit to buy a house utilizing veterans' educational benefits with Arizona State University pursuing educational goals and objectives. Thank you, Riverside, for this opportunity to extend my lease and live at this location while pursuing a higher education, and again, thank you for a job well done at my new living quarters in the time being.
been having a roach problem for the past month. I mean 15-20 roaches a day. I keep my apartment perfectly clean, food in storage containers, and take the proper precautions. I have complained to management several times. They didn’t take me seriously for the first week. Now I have had 3 pest control visits and an entire roach treatment where I had to move all kitchen and bathroom items. Still finding more roaches. Management has been extremely unhelpful, they don’t care about their residents feelings, I was told that it is called “pest control, not pest elimination”. If I were you I would never live here. I’m being forced to stay and live with pests. Audry the property manager was extremely rude and completely invalidated my feelings. As a resident who takes care of their unit, pays their rent on time, and has never had an issue. I was treated like I don’t matter, and that it’s my fault.
im sorry, but i will never recommend someone to live here. im completely appalled on how the first management team handled my first 6 months of living here, although new management seems nicer… there needs to be more communication, understanding, and speediness. they like to dismiss problems and come up with their own ideas of what is happening in your apartment and not be urgent

Worst decision to move here. It’s basically lipstick on a pig. Advertised as “luxury living” but it’s anything but. Roaches everywhere, stairs and hallways are disgusting, pools are never cleaned, maintenance requests take 5+ days to get answered even if it’s high priority, tons of bike thefts and car break ins. Leasing is a revolving door of managers. It’s a nightmare.

I have had nothing but a nightmare since I moved in. Maintenance and office staff do not do what they say they will. I have multiple issues in my unit that keep not being taken care of. They don’t ever answer the phone or respond to emails in the office

Riverside is a fantastic upgraded apartment community next so so many things, rents a bit high but this place makes me really happy to be a resident at. The kitchen is one of the nicest I have seen within this price point with under cabinet lighting and a great backsplash, straight up awesome. Learning to live in a studio size place but it’s cozy. I've been at Riverside for a year and a half and I hardly have any complaints. Roaches got really bad for a season but they brought in a new Pest Control company that knocked that out. Maintenance is generally quick to respond which is nice. The neighborhood is diverse and not often loud (besides the planes from living by the airport). Staff is quick to respond too and attentive. I like Riverside! And I didn't feel a dip in that attentiveness when management changed.

Maintenance responded same day about my concerns with mold. Got contractor to clean my ducts in twenty four hours. Replaced water heater that had been leaking for three months that we did not know about, thought it was neighbors. Cut out wall and chemical bombed the room with the water damage and helped me with my concerns. I asked for the help when we went to the doctor to figure out what the black in our mucus was after a week of being sick respiratory problems when we put A/C on last week. They were kind and prompt and understanding.

Riverside is a great place to live. I've lived here for four years and seen 3 different managements. The current team is amazing. They are kind, professional and work hard to make sure everyone on the property is happy and lives in a place they can really find comfort in living.

Riverside is in a nice area with a Boys and Girls Club less than a block away and a nice school A less than a block away. And easy access to two freeways. It feels safe for my children here.

WARNING: This apartment complex is not safe and management is not responsive. The first week I lived there, all of my plants were stolen from my front porch. I was woken up in the middle of the night to either residents yelling or the police yelling at residents (and nonresidents) outside. On several occasions, I saw people rifling around in the dumpsters who did not live there. They told us they would give us a second mail key, and despite months of asking, they did not. Any time I told management about an issue, they did not respond. Because we only gave 30 days notice instead of 60, they charged us an extra month (fair) but told us they were willing to work with us on a payment plan so it would be easy for us to pay. Since, they have made it extremely difficult for us to pay and appear unwilling to help.
Roach infested. They have attempted to get rid of them but the infestation is horrible! I can no longer deal with this!

I had a nine month lease. I thoroughly enjoyed living here. It's walking distance from Mill Ave and Tempe Beach Park. They have great landscaping and super friendly staff. We had a leaky sink once, and they showed up the same day we called to fix it. The gym is sort of small, but they have two pools and a fenced bike area. They also have movies you can rent for free! I loved it here.

This place is scary. There's a guy that lives in the apartments and seem really friendly but, if you aren't watching he's been known to have stolen from people multiple times. Not to mention the neighbors selling drugs next. It's small, but livable. Mostly scary though. Also, the pool is pretty cold even in the Summer.
