Property Ratings at Riverpointe
Moved into a what they call “newly remodeled” place, that has NO lights in the bedroom. NO lights in the living room. I have to turn my flashlight on every single time to see something. There is glue all over the floor from the remodeling that was never cleaned up. There is still blue tape around certain corners from the painting job.
We lived there for three years while our house was being built, and could not wait to get out. This is not a well managed property. The rent went up nearly 25% as soon as the Duportail bridge was finished. Our washer broke down several time, it was out of order for over a week at one point; the office told us to go to a laundromat. The plastic siding blows off the buildings in high wind, very dangerous. Not nearly enough parking. Very strict rules about what you can keep on your porch; don’t even think about hanging a shirt out to dry, they will leave a note under your door every time. Several times the drains backed up and the guy downstairs came up in a panic because his kitchen sink was overflowing, so we could not run our water,, we felt really bad because he’s a really nice guy and we flooded his kitchen.
Riverpointe apartments is a great place we love it here we feel safe and enjoy the very friendly and accommodating staff! Especially the location we would definitely recommend it!

My apartment has flooded four times now because of shoddy contract work done above me, I am really tired of how many times I’ve had to move my belongings and use buckets to try to contain the overwhelming amount of water. For how much I pay every month, this is ridiculous. I wish there was some way my trust could be renewed in this property, but every time I hear construction, I fear the worst will follow.

I have lived here for 5 years. Yikes! You'll never find a better staff and the buildings are kept in good order. Dependable and that's important. I had an emergency one time and help came at 11 pm. They never leave you hanging.

Great layouts, but so many corners are cut in this place. Improperly fitted doors and drawers that are unable to open because of bad renovation and measurements. So far, many rushed maintenance jobs are done with little to no cleanup. Our apartment was not even cleaned before we had to move in, despite asking for removal of previous tenants knick-knacks and discarded items. This place has excellent bones, but be prepared for a workout if you want to move in any time soon.

We have been living in RIVERPOINTE Apartments for about six months. Everything has been wonderful. Despite a few negative reviews and some talk from other tenants, Our experience has been nothing but pleasant. Work orders are responded to in a timely manner, the staff are friendly and helpful, yes it is a little bit expensive to live here but if you cant afford it, Move somewhere else I guess. You get what you pay for and that has been proven here!

This is the second experience I have had in apartment living in 50 years. The first one was in the 1960's in California and only lasted about 6 months. These apartments made the move in flawless and the staff made us feel welcome. The office responded to our requests quickly and to our satisfaction. Way to go Riverpointe!!

The office staff is what sets this apartment complex apart from others. They are friendly and very helpful. They respond quickly to any concern. Maintenance is also quick to respond and take care of any problems.

Very comfortable apartment complex. The layout of our two bed one bath is a perfect size for our little family. Management is always quick to follow up with questions or concerns we might have. They keep the community clean. The walls are thick, we never hear our neighbors. Love It!

Pros: Excellent location Fantastic staff Most apartments are freshly renovated Extremely responsive maintenance staff Cons: Prices are a bit on the high end for the area Parking is a major issue - either pay for covered parking or you likely won't be able to leave your apartment after 6 pm Not the fault of the complex, but there's a bit of a skunk problem at night and early morning during the summer.

We love living here! The office team is great, maintenance team is wonderful. There was a leak upstairs and my bathroom ceiling was damaged. Daniel came by and patched it up, textured the area and painted it then made sure I was satisfied with the results before cleaning up and closing out my work order. Garret worked for a couple hours trying to figure out why my kitchen outlets werent working. A third party vendor needed to come out and it was repaired the same day!

Great location with easy access to Tapteal Greenway trail and Tapteal Water Trail. Queensgate shops and eateries are walkable (<20 minutes for those in good health who don't mind a hill). Easy freeway access (via 240 bypass) to get around town quickly if you need to drive. Easy access to some bicycle trails.

I love living here. The staff in the office are always friendly and helpful. I have had three maintenance issues and they have all been resolved in about a day. The maintenance staff are not as good looking as the office staff, but they are just as friendly and helpful.

Just moved in and immediately noticed that the master bedroom had a bad smell. Using a black light I found significant animal urine stains that were not visible before. When I brought it up with office staff they took me seriously and let maintenance know. I would have been fine with them cleaning the carpets but they insisted on replacing them! The maintenance guy is super friendly and apologized for the carpet and reassured me that it would be fixed this week. Its good to know they take cleanliness and what residents say seriously. Compared to other places Ive lived (9 in total) this is by far the best response Ive had to an issue.

We love this apartment complex by far the nicest apartments we've lived in. The beautiful view of the landscape, and walking paths. The people in this community seem friendly. Can be very peaceful. By far we are very pleased. Specially having a laundry room that is the big thumbs up for us.

Riverpointe apartments is a nice place to live. They make it all look pretty and keep up with the lawn and everything is well taken care of. The maintenance guys respond within 24 hours and come at your convenience and do a wonderful job. The office ladies are so friendly. Overall a lovely community. They have a lot of floor plans to choose from.

When we first moved here two years ago we came from a different state so we could not see the apt before hand, only in pictures, when we got here we were surprised to see that it does not look like nothing they show in their pictures, at least not ours, but at they take good care of it, I like our apartment. Also when we moved our carpet was super wet still. Management people are not very nice. The maintenance is GREAT I have nothing to complain about (expect that they can be very noise while taking the trash almost all day long, but I dont think they can change that.), and the maintenance people are very nice and friendly, they come very quickly if you need them to fix something. The complex is very noise, during the summer they will start mowing the lawn at 7:30, the train will pass by in random hours and a lot of times very inconvenient and it is SUPER loud, when my son was younger he would wake up every time the train came. So if you need more of a quiete place you do not want to live here! Also if you have little kids and don't have a second car like us, you are going to feel like you are stuck here, because there are no parks close by, and they don't even have a play ground for kids here in the complex, actually you are close to a lot of things but only by car. The property looks very nice, I love all the trees. We are grateful the time we have lived here, but WE ARE SO GLAD WE ARE MOVING OUT.

Management is absolutely atrocious, they nickle and dime tennets adding costs every single month that seem to be arbatrarily calculated. The office is team is absent or away from the office regularly. Upon moving out they insisted part of our deposits were fees and refused to refund them. FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO LIVE!
Management sucks. Dark areas on property. Takes almost a week to get something fixed. Owner likes to randomly come thru to snoop in your apartment. When we moved there management was great.things were taken care of promptly. Now owner doesn't care about tenants but making money. You have to pay for water that other people use. You pay for gas used in bbqer even if you don't use it. Garbage piles up in dumpster. Skunks get into it. Be prepared to pay an additional $200- $300 a month for extras even though you don't use them.
Overall my layout is perfect for my needs. Perfect for roommates. However, be ready for trains at 7 am and random hours afterwards, road noise from cars on the bypass and good luck getting things fixed the first time you ask.
Riverpointe Apts are decent. It is one of the best places for your buck in the Tri-Cities area. Maintenance responded quickly, usually within a day and were always very friendly towards us and our dog. The switch with management was much needed, the grounds are now very well taken care of and the place looks nice again. A lot of the apartments are being renovated with new vinyl floors and appliances, but you will pay a little more for that. The office girls were always very sweet to our daughter and always very helpful and pleasant. Right off the bypass and close to shopping, groceries, and a few parks; right next to the Yakima river and has a decent play area for kids. All in all it was a very pleasant place to live for the duration we were here. Would recommend to anyone looking for an apartment in the area.
