The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Ridgefield Apartments
Old and outdated, ongoing apartment issues that were never properly fixed
I have been living here almost 15 years. Their work is impeccable. When there is bad weather, they clean the sidewalks and parking lots very well. As a matter of fact, I think that it is the best around. If there is an issue with things that need to be fixed, it is always Dan to the rescue. Dan always explains to me what he is doing and why he is doing it. The maintenance guys are some of the best that I have dealt with, they always greet you with a smile. The manager Taylor is a gem in her own right, very efficient. Love the newsletters that keeps us informed about the various activities on our property, and they have activities geared towards the children. Taylor is always very pleasant, and she is also understanding. The only thing that I wish is that it was handicap accessible, for those of us who have mobility issues(Like walk-in showers) Rent is also reasonable.
The overall upkeep, such as the lawn and towards the entrance of the location looks nice, but the repairs seem to be directed toward maintaining the lawn and side walk in stead of maintaining the apartments. The apartments need of serious/professional repairs inside and are poorly kept up by maintenance. If you try to request repairs( if and when you finally get help) maintenance does a very sloppy job with repairs. Staff are friendly, but apartments highly overrated for the cost.
I’ve never had a problem while living here. Spacious apartment, well kept property, and easy communication with the owners. Not to mention how close you are to downtown, the bridge and rail trail. Great place to live!
We moved to Ridgefield Apartments this spring and we love it so far. The apartment is spacious and airy. All the finishes are very nice. The building management is excellent. Gail and Jessica are always available to answer any questions and help with any issues. The maintenance guys are available 24/7 and any issues that come up are always resolved in timely manner. The grounds are well taken care of. It is a safe place to live. The neighbors we have met are nice. There is always plenty of parking. We are very content living here so far.
Ridgefield Apartments is a great place to live! We are going on 3 years here and have no complaints! The community is very quiet and friendly. The grounds are very well kept and all staff are very helpful.
I lived at Ridgefield for about 2 years and left to save money (or so I thought) and to have an in unit washer/ dryer. We loved Ridgefield, the complex and our neighbors! We lived in a 2 bedroom, 1st floor apartment, towards the opposite side of the complex (further from the leasing office). We were able to play fetch with out large (75 lb.) service dog and allow him run off his leash in the grassy area outside of our back/ side door, without any criticism from neighbors. Where we live now is an over priced nightmare ( Hudson Harbour ) We pay nearly $1,400 for a 1 bedroom/ 1 Bath 3rd floor walk- up. Our neighbors aren’t friendly to us or our dog. On many occasions our neighbors have stopped us, not to welcome us to the neighborhood, but to inform us that they didn’t feel “safe” or “comfortable” with our service dog (who primarily works with children, elderly and disabled people) being around their small dogs. We drive by Ridgefield all the time and regret our decision to move, not to mention the awesome pizza place across the street! (Matty G’s) This place truly was a home and the best place that I’ve ever lived in the Hudson Valley!
Very spacious, Very coslty and has an awesome view of the Montains, Has a pool and laundry facilty, close to shops and train station, excelent mangement. this is a beautiful complex with fresh cut grass and flowers, you will love this place once you see it :)
