Ellisville is a warm, family-friendly suburb. The town has nationally acclaimed, high performing schools. One elementary school in the area was the first in the state to receive the Model National Professional Development Award from the U.S. Department of Education.
This suburb is safe with walkable streets filled with trees at every corner and multiple parks for residents to enjoy the outdoors. The most popular natural area is Bluebird Park. The park has a pool, playground, trails, and an amphitheater making it the heart of special activities and annual events. Bluebird is home to the yearly summer concerts, outside movie screenings, and family camp-outs. One of the biggest annual events is the Hot Dog It's Chili - Chili Cook-Off, a huge gathering filled with music, a dog costume contest, and delicious chili tasting. Ellisville also host annual holiday events as well.
