Reserve 41

We have lived here for a little less than 2 years and we have had a million and one issues with this place. In the time we have been living here, we have had 5 different property managers who seem to just hot potato this place and all of its problems. We have had cracked tiles which have been “fixed” twice now and have still not properly been repaired, drafts from exterior doors and windows, and as of lately a mold problem, and this is just within our unit. The drafty building and poor ventilation regularly causes humidity of over 70% throughout the unit contributing to the mold problem. Several belongings have either had to be thrown away or thoroughly cleaned due to the ongoing problem which the landlord has been aware of for nearly a month! Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away from this apartment complex because instead of fixing the problems inside of the buildings, they waste money on things like painting the exterior of 3/4 of the buildings and then sold to another property company in its current condition. If you care about your health, your belongings, and your happiness, do NOT move to R41.

Reserve 41 offers a peaceful, tranquil setting where everyone is not only friendly but pet friendly also. I can't imagine living anywhere else!

This complex does not even deserve 1 star. I only lived here for 1 year and could not wait to leave after just 2 months. I thought that with Jackie (the old manager) resigning, that management would improve. Previously, it was just excuses given, now we're lucky if we even get a response from management. Initially, the photos look great, however we experienced unusually high electric bills for a 1000 sq foot apartment due to poor insulation, mold from poorly sealed windows, broken railings from rust, severe damage to my car from dead trees, sinkholes, and 75% of the apartment is crooked. Parking is always a struggle and many residents don't know how to park properly or respectively. If you need to park at the top near guest, there are no security cameras. There are very limited guest spots - if there are none left & the office is closed, your guest will end up with a $120 barnacle on their windshield. We have been moved out for more than a month and a half now, ensured that we left the apartment in greater condition than when we moved in, addressed leger balance issues a month prior to our moveout, and we still have not received our security deposit. This complex is (somewhat) less expensive than others, but is not worth the troubles or conditions that come with it.

I've been living here for a year and half. Reseve41is always clean grounds are kept up and safe place to live. Everyone is friendly and greet you as you walk by. A great place to live.

After more than a year, I still find Reserve 41 to be a pleasant experience. The grounds are beautiful & well maintained all year round. Many residents have pets, so you know they are folks that are kind & easy to get along with. The management team is efficient, friendly and really listen’s to the concerns of it’s residence.Most of all Reserve 41 offers a sense of family within the community, which I find is a blessing to have in today’s current state of the world. The staff are pleasant and welcoming and is eager to answer your questions regarding the move in process in a timely fashion. Reserve 41 homes are Structured beautifully in a peaceful well organized living environment. I love it here!

Reserve 41 is a community of folks who care about each other, their neighbors, their pets & their environment. Living here gives the residents the comfort of privacy but also is minutes away from many services, such as Drs, & stores & closebye is a means of transportation. Whether friends are visiting, a delivery is due or you just want to get out for a scenic walk, Reserve 41 is the safest place I have ever lived & the healthiest. As you get to know the residents and all who work here, their faces become familiar, its like a big family that takes care of one another on a daily basis. There are many services included in the cost to live here & the folks that perform these services are eager to please and comfortable to be around. The spaces themselves are nice enough, the appliances, kitchen, and bathroom finishes were recently updated. That said, property management here is the worst I have ever experienced. The heating units are not substantial enough to heat the entire space, don’t listen to property management that the units have been “engineered to provide adequate heat.” The apartments have no insulation in the walls or floors, so the cold radiates through every exterior surface. Service requests are fulfilled by doing the bare minimum to say it’s been handled without actually addressing major underlying issues. They claim that significant structural issues with the apartments can’t be handled because ownership controls all construction. They make promises of property upgrades with no intention of fulfilling them. Management does not care about the residents, they care about their own bottom line and about keeping complaints from reaching property ownership. Some apartments have chunks of concrete falling off of the outdoor patios with exposed rebar, others have two inch gaps at the bottom of the exterior doors. The response to these issues has been to put up caution tape or add a single piece of vinyl at the bottom of the door to insulate against freezing temperatures. Not one person we have talked to has been warm through the winter. When the heaters in the apartment stop working, the repeat solution is to hand out space heaters, which makes the electric bill skyrocket - but don’t expect any help covering the added cost. Bottom line is the apartments are spacious and look nice, but once you live here and need real issues managed, the property does everything in their power to save themselves money and effort at the expense of their residents’ comfort, and in some cases, their safety.

Reserve 41 is a beautiful and tranquil community! My family and I couldn't be more happy and satisfied with where we live than we are now! The Reserve 41 team is attentive, responsive, and always on the ball with any issue I have brought to their attention; maintenance requests are always completed in a timely fashion. Thrilled to call Reserve 41 my home.

Great community, wonderful staff. Have lived here for 4 years and consider it my sanctuary. Love the convenience to all Norwalk has to offer and apartments are wonderful.

Reserve 41 is a caring community of staff and residence. I moved here during the most stressful time of my life, the pandemic, loosing my husband to cancer and at Holiday time. Reserve 41 couldnt be more accommodating and this apartment is a perfect place for me to heal.Happy Holiday!

Dreamy is a lovely complex with a surburban feel. I love my new home.

I lived in the Dreamy Hollow apartments for a year. Nice apartments and newly renovated however the management is not worth it. Jackie is the manager of these apartments in which she only cares about getting people on a lease and not each tenants well being. Highly would recommend looking else where just based on customer service.

Safe and beautiful Community. Management does a wonderful job in beautifying this well preserved property. Very modern amenities with very close proximities to restaurants, bus services and food chains. Ive called it home for over 20 years with no problems or issues.

Until now everything is doing well and I like the environment.

Dreamy Hollow is a beautiful and quiet, well-maintained apartment complex that is perfect for a low-maintenance individual. I have not encountered any issues yet and my apartment is beautiful. I would definitely recommend to a friend or family member.

Quiet clean community...

Dreamy Hollow is a great place to live. The property is spread out with wide grassy areas and plenty of trees. This dog friendly complex is very relaxing and feels more like a condo than an apartment. The staff is amazing and is always there when you need them whether you have a question, a maintenance issue, or like to be involved with events and interacting with your neighbors. Whether you need a place to live for a while or are transitioning to buying a house, I would highly recommend this newly updated property.

I moved into Dreamy Hollow thinking it was a good place to live. I was wrong. Make sure to inspect the basements, boiler room, heaters, etc. There are things that make it unpleasant to live here in my opinion, especially if you have children. There is no central A/C and the stove and refrigerator are old and faulty. There are noisy, unruly neighbors shouting obscenities. There is also a problem with theft in the complex.
