I really enjoy living here. It is clean, safe, and quiet. There were a few maintenance things that needed to be taken care of upon moving in. However, everything was very minimal and it all was taken care of in a timely manner. Overall, I think it is a great apartment experience!

Out of all the apartments I've lived in, this has been the most fun and has had the best amenities. The monthly events at the clubhouse are great. The location is conveniently near the highway and my work. The apartments are decently new, and I like the open floor plan. The walls can be a little thin, pests are still an issue, and the trash area gets filled up ridiculously quickly, making it difficult to dispose of your trash and recycling properly. Maintenance is good and the staff are all kind. Some policies are questionable, but I think that comes with all apartments. A lot of back and forth regarding paperwork earlier in the leasing process - the process was not as smooth as it used to be, and the leasing documents ended up being sort of inconsistent than previous ones, so I'd make sure to read every form to cover all your bases. The trash valet is convenient, but sometimes can leave a mess when they pickup.

Republic Flats in Durham is a great place to live! It’s in a convenient location, it is kept clean both outside and inside, and the staff is awesome! They are friendly and helpful, and always find ways to make living there even more enjoyable. I highly recommend RF to friends and family and any passerby’s that may inquire about living here.

This community is amazing, both inside and out. I have lived here for almost 3 years and have loved every minute of my experience. The leasing staff cares deeply, the support staff works diligently, and the residential community lives peacefully. Love it here!

Beautiful upkeep of the grounds. Good amenities and great apartment layout! Residents do not match the price. Building hall are not maintained, dog poop and trash thrown in non designated areas. Noice, weed smell and party at pool late into the am is what make the community a 3 star.

I’ve been living here for about 6 months now, and I’ve had a positive experience overall. The location is fantastic, with easy access to nearby shops, restaurants, and sheetz next door. Overall the apartment complex is in great condition because the building is fairly new. Maintenance is really timely n prompt. But the pest problem is really bad and Republic flats doesn't seem to want to do anything about it.

The management is quick to respond and help out with issues. Issues are fixed promptly and without any hassle. Raising complaints and following up is also easy through the app. Everyone is helpful and friendly.

We have been living here for some time now and loved it when we first moved in. The staff and maintenance were attentive, kind, and were always on top of things. But since we have moved into our recent unit, things have just become unpleasant. From unreasonable neighbors to increased fees and policing the smallest things - i once left my valet trash out maybe an hour or two past the cut off and i was sent an email with a picture and notice that we’d be getting fined. There was a pool table, and scrabble board put in the club house which once was one first come first serve for events and is now $200 to rent for a day plus some non refundable deposit?! With all the downhill progression we probably won’t be extending our lease again. Which is a bummer because I think it had the potential to grow into a wonderful place to live once they put in shops nearby and maybe a park. We are too car dependent here even with all that’s close.

Love the move in experience so far. Seems to be a quiet and peaceful environment, though we haven’t completely moved in yet. The staff is very nice and super helpful. And a very pet-friendly community, if you have pets.

The staff has been great, applying was easy and the buildings and facilities look amazing and well kept. The rooms have everything I need in a convenient layout and the balcony is a nice touch.

It's a pretty good location if you work around the area. It's also in between a few major towns/cities and is an arm's reach away from some good plazas. The apartments themselves could use just a little bit of work. But maintenance is pretty responsive as well. It's a bit pricey for the wages around the area as well. Overall, a pretty decent location.

Reserving my apartment was an ok experience. I truly wish the same energy that is put behind trying to reel a tenant in is the same when a tenant is actually going through the process. I just truly pray that living here is a better experience than the signup process.

The carpet stinks, the top of the washer has been painted and the trash is unsightly. I live near the pool and it is very noisy. Overall not the best and not the worst

I guess my best review would simply be that my wife, children and I could buy a house but we continue to resign our lease because we're happy here. It is an easy choice for us as busy people. But would love it the hallways could be cleaned more frequently. And the pool could be regularly cleaned.
