ReNew Ann Arbor

We were welcomed by the staff even though we had a short term lease due to a fire at our home. The apartment was very attractive and comfortable Especially liked the walk-in closets and the fireplace. We are older than most residents but watched tennis and pickleball players using the courts and picnics at the grill area by the pool. Lots of pets and wonderful areas to walk and explore with your pet. 5 minute drive to downtown and close to Busch's Market, CVS and Pet Supply. Our stay was short but really enjoyable during a stressful situation.

The location is perfect and quiet and there are essential stores on walking distance. The bus stop right in front of the building is very convenient. The neighbors are nice and everyone respect each other's space. The nature all around is great!

The location is great, I love being able to walk to so many places and be near the bus stops. Also the apartments have some unique features that make it feel more personal.

Everything’s good. I love the apartment and the amenities that come with it. I am excited to experience more of what renew has to offer in the future

The staff is very kind and willing to work with you. They are understanding and will help in any way they can. Prices have gotten a little high, but if it is in your price range, it is a great place to live.

I recently rated our apartment community four out of five stars, and I wanted to share my thoughts. The overall atmosphere is welcoming and friendly, with well-maintained grounds and responsive management. I appreciate the amenities available, which enhance the living experience. However, there are a few areas for improvement, such as timely maintenance responses and additional community events. Overall, it's a great place to call home!

We have had maintenance problem after maintenance problem. The maintenance team is good, but they're overworked and underresourced, and we keep getting lied to about when things will be fixed. Also, the EV charger advertised requires a special adapter. It's cheaper and easier to charge elsewhere. The gym, while well-equipped, is often dirty and lacking cleaning materials for the gymgoers to use.

Feel that not insulated well. Noisy neighbor above me and apartment and flooring very cold in winter months.My DTE bill seems high as well. Less community activities is disappointing as well.

Great location, easy parking, spacious apartments. Maintenance staff is incredible, my only knock is the office staff can be very slow to respond to anything.

Enjoying the community activities & happy about the entry apartment upgrade. The garages could use some cleaning and maintenance. I hope the activities continue.

Westlin is amazing and made everything so simple for me and the community is beautiful as well I’m enjoying my stay to the fullest and would want to move even after my lease ends.

It's a great community, especially the location is great, the people who work in the leasing office are very friendly and eager to serve the residents. However the buildings need a lot of development, cleaning and dealing with insects especially spiders and also the rent price is a little high for what you get and compared to similar communities.??

Maintenance is horrible. The staff do not communicate. My apartment has issues with the dryer, with the electrical, and with bees that no one has helped me with for over 6 months. Every time I enter a maintenance request on the portal, the request is removed without anyone communicating with me or coming to check out the problem. The only reason why my review is 2 stars instead of 1 is because the amenities are nice. I would not recommend Renew to anyone moving to the area.

This is a great location and the people who work in the clubhouse are super friendly! The apartment itself is really nice too and has some older features that make it feel less generic than other apartments I've lived in.

The apartment itself is nice , but the management team is problematic. The manager always has super delayed response from leasing to problem-solving after move-in.

Such a great place. Love the location and how quiet it is. Super close to campus and most restaurants. The neighbors are really nice and super friendly.

The location is perfect but there seems to have been a big management change. Poor communication and very sparse community activities as in the past, very disappointing! Pool opened very late this summer without very good explanation.

It’s excellent location. The complex needs a lot of cleaning and development, compared to the high rents. Rents are high compared to an apartment. The management needs to work hard on these points. Thinks,,

This property is lovely and well located. Unfortunately, the new management (Trinity Property Consultants in Irvine, CA) don't care about it. Dumpsters are overflowing, maintenance issues are unaddressed, and safety is questionable. Keep looking.

3.5 stars. Leasing office staff are very nice and understanding. Our apartment was nice, spacious, and clean. Turning on utilities, WiFi etc was simple and done within 24hours. Amenities are nice and I look forward to using them. Moving in was a little painful since there’s no real space for a moving truck to park and unload without inconveniencing your neighbors. All of these things were as expected. The biggest issue is how it has been very difficult to get maintenance to address issues with the apartment on move-in. It’s been over a week since we put in our maintenance requests which while not emergencies, some of which highly impact day to day living. We’ve been told several times to expect some of the more urgent items to be fixed by the end of the day without it happening. Our new neighbors who moved in around the same time are having similar difficulties.

The people who work here are really lovely and that is a big plus! The area is very walkable and there are bus stops nearby. Also I appreciate the amenities.

It's been a great place for the last year, but this spring/summer the pool and spa have been closed. It's nearly July. There are some management changes that seem concerning.

Great apartment and amenities. Supportive staff, quiet neighborhood, and good parking. Updated appliances, in unit laundry and dishwasher and central air!

I have enjoyed the space in the new apartment and loft, the parking garage is a bit small and dirty but over all I Have enjoyed the living space.

Great experience at renew Ann arbor for a short term lease. Has amenities like a pool gym hot tub sauna tennis courts and bark park. Underground parking spot also included!

Love the location of our apartment complex. Hoping for more activities as the weather gets better. Hoping pickleball is in our future! The amenities are nice here. The only problem is I have a heavy footed renter above me and that can be irritating.

It's been really great living here so far. Renew has been very responsive and it's really peaceful here while still being close to everything!

How many engineers does it take to replace a drain stopper? More than two? Well, when you replace a drain stopper, there needs to be someone above looking and working down, and someone below looking and working up. And then someone to make sure the new parts replaced are manufactured properly; 1 in 100 may have a defect and could leak. (Not good.) So there's a shiny new stopper that works, doesn't leak and an efficient ending to a little repair story. Thank you guys! Great Job!

Great experience for the last few years I’ve lived here. They’ve been amazing when it comes to taking care of any issues that have come up. Overall I have had an amazing experience with renew.

I am glad it is done. Friendly service & done quickly. My only request would be to be contacted when request will be completed. Currently not sure if requests will be done in 1 day or a month from request.

Great living environment. Great teams.The gym is good. I love living here. Also, the price is more affordable compared to the apartments in the central campus.

I am living here for almost 1.5 years, and I think it is good. Compared to other apartments with same price, ReNew apartment is the most favorable options.

No heat in the dryer means using 25 quarters per wash, and 10 quarters to dry. Not a great way to spend a Saturday. When the gentlemen arrived to find out what was wrong with the dryer, it was clear that the heating coil was beyond repair. So a new dryer was installed. Good job.

Sad could not be fixed with company here on weekend great inconvenience having company use my bathroom in my bedroom sleeping space! Glad it was fixed first thing Monday afternoon.

Very pet friendly and management is responsive. They are quick with salting and plowing roads during winter too. Great experience so far!!!!

Renew is the best in Ann Arbor in my opinion, everything is very nice! There is more room to improve especially for the care of the apartments, some details that make the difference!

I have liked living here, staff is nice and friendly but the common area in the clubhouse should be open in the evenings durin the weeek and weekends, that would be nice to access it more

It's been great living here so far! Renew has been very responsive and I love the location and community feel. It's really peaceful here, while still being so close to everything downtown.

I used to enjoy living here but left this summer after a terrible year with new management. So many issues, horrible response to maintenance issues - like have my heat go out in the middle of winter and not getting it fixed for days, or a few months later having my AC go out during the summer and not having it fixed for like a week. Have to call over and over to get anything done. Keep charging me pet rent for months after I submitted documents stating my cat had passed away. Facilities are only ok at best, lots of corners cut with all of the "fixes" they have been doing. Leaks in the garage all of the time and nothing got fixed. Had a nail pop my tire in the garage I'm sure came from the construction. The water bills are not individual but complex wide, and last winter the bill tripled (if not more) for everyone out of the blue. This went on for a few months before it got "magically" fixed after people threatened to not pay rent. They've raised the rent so much and its way to overpriced for the terrible management. They do have events where if you leave a good review, you get entered to win different prizes. They started this because of the number of bad reviews. Just as an FYI. To show how really terrible maintenance is they contacted me about 3 months AFTER I moved to let me know they were going to come and fix a request I put in 6 months ago, reminded me to leave a review.

I am continually impressed with how the staff & management treat the residence and how receptive they are. They have proven their commitment to make this an excellent property by making available many programs and events for residence to take advantage of. I enjoy living here & will be here for the foreseeable future.

Love the apartment and parking situation. Mail key does not work and had some trouble with the garage key, but overall is a great place to live.

The most horrifying experience was the unexpected convenience fees deducted without any explanation and the uncleaned bathroom. According to what my roommate told me: the leasing office never informed her about the additional convenience fees that would be taken out when we paid our monthly rent on the day to move in, and when we inquired about the fees and asked who took them and why, they repeatedly gave us unbelievable answers, claiming they didn't know who or why the fees were deducted. Even the apartment manager denied any responsibility saying he's not the person who helped us on our moving day. When I moved in, my bathroom was not properly cleaned. Dealing with the cleaning team through the leasing office was not easy because it takes forever to respond from the leasing office, and even after their visit, my bathroom still had red mold. The manager said that the red mold is considered permanent damage. Living in this apartment means living with red mold.

Other than having a noisy upstairs neighbor and barking dog enjoy the apartment community. The office staff and maintenance staff are wonderful.

The move-in experience was excellent. The apartment was clean, fresh, and ready. Best of all, the office staff were warm and welcoming! It already feels like home.

It's been so lovely here so far--quiet and peaceful with a real community feel! I love the amenities included, like the new spa and the dog park. Great location too.

I have enjoyed the Renew community so far. The only thing I want to complain about is maintenance. They need to hire more people to work for maintenance as orders are very backed up with the amount of people they have on their team right now. They also need to change the work order system they have right now as we can only contact maintenance through front desk. Other than that, no other complains and I have enjoyed living in the community.

Everyone in the office has been friendly and welcoming. The amenities are great and my apartment has been great so far! its nice how they also have events each wee.

Great place to live in a quiet area of Ann Arbor. Beautiful area outside and inside the apartment. Friendly staff members when you need them.

Here is comfortable to live in. There were some problems with my unit (I had a gas problem), but one of those was fixed quickly upon a request.
