Renaissance Tower

It’s beautiful place, unfortunately elevator doesn’t work sometimes. And lounge area too, sometimes it works sometimes it’s not.

Maintenence staff is very friendly and efficient. They seem to really love their job, and they are long term employees.

This is an awesome place to live, love the location. Staff is very friendly, the grounds workers and maintenance guys are awesome. It's always a pleasure seeing them around. Security staff is very friendly. My only complaint is that the parking garages should be more secured, and elevators always have issues and plumbing can be a huge problem.

I really wanted to enjoy my time here because I love the view, location and the apartment but there are always issues. The laundry room always has problems, like the card reader not working, people’s clothes being left around, and unpleasant smells. The machines are never clean, and even if you put in a work order, they never get cleaned. I personally have to clean every machine before and after I use it. The water keeps turning off, and there’s a reduction in hot water. The AC system is very loud, the elevator frequently has issues—even getting stuck inside. There’s also the problem of lost packages. Because of these ongoing issues, I wouldn’t recommend it.

I really enjoy living here. The location and quality of the complex is pristine. I love the accessibility to the city and feeling safe in such a fast paced community. All the residents, staff, and management are kind.

Despite the few hiccups, I am so content with how things were resolved.

This place may very well be the best in the world.

A great place to live. Convenient location with nice views. Friendly staff. Maintainance done in a timely and courteous way. Shopping and great restaurants nearby. Numerous cultural and sporting events in walking distance. Hot tub and pool area very relaxing.

Overall I have had great experience at this apartment, just kind of a burden when the water keeps getting shut off, elevators stop working and new tenants don't respect the rules they sign when leasing agreements clearly state things like no smoking in unit.

I love the on-site maintenance staff. They are very friendly and very attentive and communicative. These individuals get the job done, if not at that moment, they will return to finalize

Clean, modern rooms with a fantastic rooftop recreational area with a stunning DTLA view.

Renaissance Tower is clean and well-maintained. The building has a wonderful rooftop pool and bbq with a fascinating view of Downtown LA. Also, they have a beautiful and well-groomed park right in front of the building with high level of security. Amazon lockers and the concierge are convenient, too!

I enjoy living at the Renaissance tower. Great location, and I’m super happy with my apartment. Sometimes the maintenance can take a while to get done. In the time I’ve lived here the AC has gone out and I got a leak in my bathroom. Whenever I reported them they gave me a temp AC unit and dehumidifier respectively. They’re also replacing water damaged parts of wall and baseboards. Though the work is taking a while, I’m happy I have a team that can handle big repairs like that when I’m too busy to think of them myself.

World class management in every way. Best I have ever seen and I am not exaggerating.

I love living here. Renaissance Tower is cozy and quiet, despite being located in DTLA. The staff is so kind and helpful, and addresses all issues insanely fast. I will always cherish the years I have spent living here.

I’m so thrilled with the move-in experience at Renaissance Tower! Alexa was very helpful and sweet. Tashanda has been very friendly as well. I even had a small maintenance issue and Leonard came and fixed it right away. I love that all of the common areas are clean and presentable for when I have guests over. I’m very happy living here!!

Positive: Great value based on location...only two blocks from L.A. Live, Crypto Center, shopping, in addition to great amenities which are accessible and working! Negative: up floor exterior windows which have not been cleaned in a very long time.

Renaissance Tower is in a great location close to stores, sporting, and cultural events. I love my view overlooking Grand Park and the LA skyline. The management is friendly and responsive to your needs. The rent is reasonable. The area is very walkable and public transportation is close by. And I do appreciate that I have a reserved indoor parking spot.

Poor Lightning in the apartments. Rent is high for what you pay. Location is good. Community is good. Front desk doesn’t have a very good customer service.

I enjoy almost everything related to living at Renaissance Tower. The entire staff is extremely friendly! If the management can figure out how to eliminate the pet odor from the front door entrance and by the elevator entrances on certain floors, have the windows cleaned and update the pool furniture, the complex would feel like paradise.

It’s a wonderful place to live- management is very prompt in getting back to me whenever I need and the location can’t be compared to anywhere else. I will say that our building water is shut off pretty often for maintenance and after it comes back on, we have the hardest time getting hot water for the next week . It’s a little aggravating when you’re living in “luxury” only to waste your water bill trying to heat up your shower every month or two

Dont live here. They dont care about tenets at all and will overcharge you for everything. Everything in my apartment has slowly broken and maintenance cant fix anything I guess. My a/c doesnt work and I have to reset it by pulling it out of the wall EVERYDAY(not just the reset button) to blow cold air and not hot. They say 24/7 front desk but the front desk is gone all the time for hours at a time sometimes at random points throughout the day/night and they ALWAYS take a break from like 5-7 seems like which is extremely annoying because thats often when I order food deliveries, meaning theres no one to let them in elevator so the drivers cant bring your order to the door. I swear they are probably only there for 18 hours out of day.

Nothing in this building works properly, even when we had two operable elevators, one was always out of service. Washing and drying machines were old, and 70% of them had a bad odor or did not work properly. All washing machines in the 6th floor were OOS for 6 MONTHS. Hallways are dirty, and hot. I have heard of residents getting robbed INSIDE the building on two different occasions. We cant even feel safe in our own community. Even though there is a GLOBAL PANDEMIC, most common areas and ALL areas were never and are never being sanitized. Everything, including ceiling tiles, floors, stairs, hallways, amenities on the 10th floor, garage, entrances are stained, dirty, with bad odor and even dead rodents - I have pictures to confirm. Also, whenever you sit on any chair on the 10th floor dust comes out of it and your clothes get dirty. Getting a parking pass or scheduling anything on the website is near impossible since the website does not work half of the time and/or the security in the front desk is never there. I have pictures of both as prove. Also, nothing in this building, absolutely nothing works as intended, not even the machine to get your laundry card or place money into it, website, washer/dryers, elevators, garage entrance, amenities, stairs safety appliances, ETC. To top it off, whenever you reach out to management, you either get a non response, or tell you they will look into it to brush you off and nothing changes. And one time, one of the property managers told me it was not their problem in regards to a parking situation INVOLVING their website. Also, management claims that the 27th of every month our rent is posted this is not true in multiple occasions, and utilities are rarely posted on time so you always have to go back to pay utilities on a different time; a true inconvenience. To top it off, management is rude to their residents, and Im not the only one who feels this way, former and current residents are extremely unhappy with the service. can also prove. On multiple occasions, I have seen the residents complain in the front desk, in the middle of the lobby and even have a loud argument infront of residents and visitors. Extremely unprofessional. Truly overall dissatisfied, and disappointing experience.

I really enjoy living here but the only reason it isn't excellent is that I haven't heard back from the maintenance manager about a long standing issues. emailed twice and still nothing. The regular maintenance staff is amazing though

Renaissance has been great . The concierge and leasing team are very helpful and welcoming to a new community. Brandi was such a dear and she has been the absolute best. I have had some horrible move ins because of property management being unresponsive and trying to cut corners, but definitely not this one. I would highly recommend living here.

I've never lived in an apartment this quiet. Such a peaceful building and the residents are very friendly and considerate. The front desk is great, always helpful.

management is rude, there is always issues with the apartment (maintenance does a good job though fixing in a timely fashion), we have one elevator for 16 floors, 1/4 laundry rooms are broken (its been like this for the past 4 months) so it takes forever to do laundry and now we have to wait 10 mins to even get an elevator to go to a diff floor to do laundry and most the time there all being used so we have wait- very frustrating. can not wait until my lease is over.

Poorly maintained if at all... no preventative maintenance done to the plumbing especially. Clothes washers and dryers are clogged with dog hair, basically useless. Elevator (only 1 is available) takes 5-15 minutes to respond. Tenants are loud and inconsiderate of others, running around loudly in the middle of the night. Concierge "security guards" are useless and unresponsive

We have consistently been satisfied by the work performed by the maintenance staff at RT.

Maintenance service and staff are good enough. I think they tried to thier best every time we asked for repairs. But this condo is very old so all the home appliances and heating/ cooling systems are horrible... Even when the heater suddenly didnt work well around 10pm, it was too cold to sleep so we went out to other place to sleep.... so bad.

The staff at Renaissance is amazing and very professional.

The staff here is very responsive. The building is aging and I have had to have maintenance attend to several issues. Thank god they are responsive and thorough.

Love living here so far- best month and a half ever! Friendly residents and staff, clean hallways, just wish I could use the rooftop amenities!
