The area extending from Sixth Street south to the Colorado River between Mo Pac Expressway and Lamar Road, Austin’s West End contains green space along the river and the Ann and Roy Butler Hike and Bike Trail. The Pressler is the absolute best location. It is within walking vicinity to many delicious restaurants and easy accessible to the walking trail and Mopac. The resort style pool is amazing and it has a great gym. Our apartment is great as well, large living room space and kitchen. Wish there was a little more storage room & updated light fixtures in the bedroom / bathroom. Face the side of the train but can’t even hear it from the bedroom. Overall great experience!

Great neighborhood. Great neighbors. Noisy if you live facing the street and train but onlly when you open the balcony. Otherwide it's fine. I am on the 5th level so think it's ok. The space is huge almost 1000sq ft for a 1bd!

Good complex. Gym could be bigger the office center and work space are never used. Used that to expand the gym and would be great downtown place to live. It’s away from everything so quiet but still walkable to everything

Thanks for the feedback. I'm happy to say that we are planning on extending the fitness center as you suggested! We are hoping to have this project done in the next 90 days! We did have some feedback to keep an office area at the community, so it will only expand into the office center nearby, and we will be converting the workspace into more of a conference room/office. We hope you love it when it's done!
The building and appliances are dated and things seem to be breaking quite regularly around here but I like the location and the maintenance team, so overall it’s still ok for the price.

Best place to live. Big pool compared to other places in downtown Austin. Fees are better than other buildings. Great access to restaurants and bars and the trail.

My boyfriend and I have lived here for two months and we’ve really enjoyed it so far. We’ve lived in two other apartment buildings downtown and this has definitely been our best experience (no cockroaches/scorpions in the unit, maintenance team has been so helpful and quick to respond, no noise issues, great location, etc).

I’ve lived here over two years and love it. The location is perfect. The maintainer requests are addressed quickly. The amenities are good. Although not the newest apartment complex, my unit feels cozy and homey.

Beautiful place to live. The location is next to shops and eateries. The amenities are great. The staff is cordial and respectful. The building is well kept. The layout of the apartments vary and are very unusual. I love coming into my apartment, With its long hallway and built-in shelves and high ceiling. I particularly like that the laundry has its own tucked in area. Love the built-in desk area. If you want nightlife, all you got to do is walk up a few blocks on sixth street. I love my view of downtown and west Austin from my balcony.

I am rating the complex 5 stars for one main reason. Mary Anne has been the most helpful leasing agent I could have ever asked for. I moved to Austin not knowing anybody, but I felt like if anyone had my back it was her. The rooms are nice, and the amenities are cool - but working with Mary Anne is what makes this place different than the rest.

Loud. Getting unsafe in the garage with break is and hit and runs. Longer maintenance responses. No longer providing the same level of maintenance service. Huge rent increases!

Wish I would have moved here sooner. The staff is so pleasant and on top of everything! The community is so clean which I love. Equipment in fitness center always working and pool area so pleasant.

Do not live here. It’s a terrible location, too far to really be walkable … mgmt is horrible. Worst, the units look nothing like the model pics they show. Mine had hardwood floors w carpet in the bedroom & closet. Instead I got one w cement floors throughout. Not cool, loft style cement. Think Home Depot floors or parking decks. Moved out immediately.

Pressler Apts is a great property, with super friendly staff and residents. The location is perfect for getting anywhere in Austin in a hurry, with it being between Mopac and Downtown. I would recommend this place to everyone looking for a relaxing environment with very few problems.

The location of The Pressler is perfect for getting to MoPac and downtown as well as UT. We love the pool and use the other amenities often.

I moved here from Lamar Union, which was a complete dump. I simply love living at Pressler. The staff at the leasing office is fantastic and the maintenance crew is always on top of their game. . . I couldn't be happier with my decision to move here.

I love Pressler Apartments. My partner and I were astounded by the value when we toured. We couldn't believe the price for the quality and proximity to downtown! We have a 2nd floor unit, right above retail, so we have concrete floors and an oversized balcony. We love the built in shelving along our hallway and in our restroom. The tile backsplash and custom accent lighting throughout adds a luxury feel. The unit is flooded with natural light from the south-facing wall with five floor-to-ceiling windows, but can be shut out well with the natural wood venetian blinds. Best of all, we love how small the community is! The mid-rise energy is friendly and courteous, and the management team knows and cares for the community well. The pool, gym, and lounge are modest in size, but I've never seen more than two residents using any amenity at any time. I'm not sure if our units are really well soundproofed, or if our neighbors are really quiet. I never hear anything from other units except the whir of a vacuum on occasion. I will note that, like anything else in the west downtown area, you will hear the train horn go by. Same story in the Seaholm high-rise where our friend lives. No complaints, and lots of love for this place.

Overall my experience has been great. I moved here from out of state, sight unseen. I was not disappointed. The staff was very helpful, especially Katelyn. Katelyn made my transition from Kansas to Texas easier. She worked really hard to make sure I got a floorplan with a balcony that fit my budget.

The constant false fire alarms have been bad. Additionally the train noise wasn't disclosed to us but wakes us up multiple times a night. The staff is always nice and professional.
