I have lived here since 2013. New owners as of September 2022 completely changed the atmosphere. Overflowing trash, unresponsive property manager (dozens of calls unreturned), black mold issues going unresolved.

I have lived at the Preserve at Pecan Creek since February 2020. There was a time I would have given a 5-Star review, but much has changed with the new ownership. Pros: Local property staff is fantastic! Sierra and Heather are truly amazing, customer focused, and caring. The location is great, lots of trees, and lots of natural light, and the property is well maintained. Cons: The updated website (as of 11/4/2022) is not accurate. The website states there are racquetball courts, tennis courts, volleyball courts, and game room on the property. None of the anemities exist. The website also states there is a 24 business center which is not true. We used to have a business that was open during office hours, but no longer have it since the ownership change. There have been billing errors for the past two months. The on-site office staff knows about the errors but they do not have the ability (access) to make corrections; everything is done at a corporate/regional office. Finally, property maintenance has gotten worse. I have learned to fix things myself or hire someone to help. It would not take much to change this property from a 2-star to a 5-star rating; time will tell.

I moved here in February 2020. Prior to September 2022, we had great office staff with Amber and Heather. We also used to have GREAT maintenance when Tony was here, but there hadn't been consistent maintenance since then. We had a guy name Zee for a while but he left, and then came back at the sister property next door. Right now, we don't have any maintenance. We used to have community events. The updated website says the property has racquetball courts, tennis courts, volleyball courts, and games room. Can someone tell me where? None of these amenities exist. The one amenity we used to have before the property sale was a business area with computers and a printer, but that is gone. The new manager was so rude, but I think he is gone, Now we have a lady that comes from another property and she is worse than the who left. There should be a warning sign put up when she's there so residents don't waste there time going to the office. The Assistant Manager is the only reason I am giving 2 stars. The maintenance issues and manager issues cost the review 3 star.

This complex is very pleasant! It's kind of it's own neighborhood, surrounded by beautiful greenery. There's a trail that runs about 7 or 8 miles right behind my balcony. The train that runs from here to Dallas is right in front of it! It's beyond convenient. Every store, business, office, or establishment I could possibly need is three miles up the service drive. It's quiet & the neighbors are either not bothersome at all or incredibly friendly. We're in a temporary 1 bedroom until September. It's among the smallest ones & has great space! Everything in it looks pretty new & we've not had a problem with noise. Definitely come check it out.
