Property Ratings at Prairie Oak Village
My husband and I moved into Prairie Oak Village in February of 2012. It was 3 bedrooms and lots of green space from both back and front door. All the apartments are ground floor in 4 unit buildings. Every unit gets two convenient parking spaces. Residents can maintain small garden projects in the green space near their apartments so long as they are tasteful and do not interfere or detract from the carefully groomed lawns. The profusion of flower pots, hanging baskets and trellised vegetables in the neighborhood speaks well of the residents sense of home pride. A colorful playground creates a natural gathering place for parents and children without crowding or disturbing the single or retired residents. We only moved because we needed space for caregivers and medical equipment required for our adult son who is battling a terminal medical diagnosis. The property managers Phil and his wife Val were understanding of our needs. I would recommend Prairie Oak Village to individuals at the crossroads of life or young couples just starting out. I would also recommend it to parents wishing to put their children in a safer environment and better school. The buses for Republic School District pick up children in front of their homes, no long walks to bus stops. Tom & Wendy Anglin
