Berkeley Oaks is a predominately residential neighborhood located about five miles northeast of Downtown Madison. There are only a few offices and several schools in Berkeley Oaks, but the neighborhood’s biggest appeal is its proximity to excellent amenities and popular destinations in the city. Berkeley Oaks borders Warner Park, a popular waterfront park nestled along the shores of Lake Mendota. Warner Park has a dog park, beach, boat ramp, and marina so it’s a popular spot during the summertime. Along with close to several commercial centers, Berkeley Oak is only about a 15-minute drive to Downtown Madison, so residents can easily enjoy more options for dining, shopping, and entertainment. Traveling around the city is made easy by Packer Avenue, while the Dane County Regional Airport nearby is great for out-of-state trips.
