Property Ratings at Polo Glen Apartment Homes
The management is horrible. We've lived here between 2 different apartments for about 4 years. Things have gone wayyyyy downhill since the current management took over. The most recent problem is a rat infestation by the trash compactor. They have been getting into people's cars and apartments and the management has refused to properly address the problem that has been going on for months now. Among other issues, the apartments are not properly insulated so if you live in an upstairs unit, your downstairs neighbors will be complaining about noise even if you are not loud at all. The complex claims to be "updated" however about 50% or more of the units are still not updated and those have terrible carpet, windows, and appliances. The dishwashers in particular are next to useless even though they are "new". I have had to have the A/C completely replaced 3 times within 4 years and multiple times where they've had to fix it. There are constant issues with plumbing, water pressure, and hot water. The "heated" pool has not been heated in 3 years. The heater or thermostat is not turned on or it's broken and they won't fix it. The pool is unusable in the winter and too hot in the summer. The grills on the pool deck are broken, and instead of fixing them or replacing them, they just threw charcoal in and said it's now a charcoal grill... Also the fireplace, fire pit and TV on the pool deck have all been broken for over 3 years. The playground is a serious danger to kids, it is fully rusted and there is sharp metal protruding everywhere, it's needed new mulch and a good pressure was for over 4 years. The "dog park" is a disaster, everything in it is broken and it's so poorly maintained that it looks like a bomb went off. The entry gates never work and they constantly have issues with them instead of just replacing them. The landscaping has gotten terrible over the last few years. If you live in a unit next to Fiske, the traffic noise is awful because of the lack of insulation and old windows. The biggest issue is that the management is extremely difficult do get in contact with, and when they do call you back they refuse to fix problems. Regarding the rats, we have contacted the police dept, the sheriff's department, the health department, code enforcement, animal control, and FWC, and they have all told us that there is nothing they can do and that this is responsibility of the complex.
This is my third apartment I have rented here at Polo Glen. I love the community and the amenities. It's central to so many things. It's quiet and people and staff are friendly.

We sold our house back in June and had our eyes on Polo Glen for sometime as a place to move to. We had looked at many other places but was always drawn back here. Something about the look and feel of the place was different than the others. It didnt feel cramped and crowded and we liked that,especially when it came to parking. We dealt primary with Amanda in the beginning and she made the process very simple and smooth for us. Fernando, the Maintenance Supervisor has been nothing short of amazing. .He has responded to every need we have had concerning our apartment home. I know he has been stretched a little thin with his many responsibilities,but you could never tell by his positive and considerate demeanor in all our interactions. All our requests have handled in a timely and professional manner. Ray is Fernando's assistance and he always done everything that has been requested from us in a pleasant and cooperate manner. We are pleased with our choice of Polo Glen as our place of residence and look forward to our future in this community. The Yeomans

Out of all the communities I have lived in this has been the best. They keep the grounds nice and clean. Nice amenities. I feel safe here. Mostly, if it weren't for the office staff or maintenance that are so helpful and that truly makes this place a comfortable place to live, I would not live here. Thank you.
I have lived at Polo Glen for 8 years. It has been a great experience. The grounds, buildings, pool, gym and office/clubhouse building are all fantastic. The management and maintenance staff are all very friendly and do a great job. Requested maintenance work is done quickly and done well. Polo Glen is a very nice place to live.
Polo glen is a very quiet place to live theirs no noise on the street .I thought it would be very noisy but its not.The staff here is excellent they go above and beyond to help your needs. Its a nice place to live and I'm happy here.

I moved to Polo Glen about a month ago. Honestly, the management gave me a warming welcoming and help me a lot with the application process. The place is in an amazing location with easy access to I-95 if you work in KSC. The apartments are in really good shape and the complex is family friendly. I will recommend this place for anyone, from a young professional to a family with kids.

Been here since February and haven't had any major problems yet. The office is closed due to COVID-19 but that's not really a "problem" as I've still been able to contact Polo Glen for anything.
They will do everything they can to milk you. The grounds are barely kept. If you have a complaint they will block you. Have a lawyer review your lease if you decide to go with these grubbers. The apartments are not worth the rental fee. Resident of a year.

I moved into Polo Glen a little over a year ago and have really enjoyed it so far. The staff have always been helpful in anything that I needed or if I had questions. Maintenance has always been on point with completing my requests or work orders within a day or two. When I initially did my apartment shopping, I soon realized that they had the largest floor plans around. I don't feel cramped in my apartment at all and it really feels like a home! It's just outside Viera so I don't have to deal with that traffic unless I want to.

In the beginning everything went smooth, customer service was great...then they switched management and office personnel. Management is unhelpful and they try very hard to get every last penny from your pockets. Apartments are nice but not worth the hassle of dealing with Management.

I am new to Rockledge (North Viera). I relocated first from Long Island, New York to St. Petersburg, Florida. It is more relaxed and not so crowded over on this coast. So far so good.
Not overly impressed with the upkeep. Past concerns went unmet by prior management. See some improvements.
Obviously, the apartment community looked good when we moved in, 1 1/2 years ago, but it's starting to decline and their application restrictions must be slipping because some of the newer neighbors are too young, partying, or just plain don't care about their surroundings. Pride in ownership can apply to renters too. We'd rather not have to move, but we don't want to lower our standards on enjoying our living environment.
3 bedroom 2 bath spacious 1560 square feet apartment with attached garage. 2 walk in closets, laundry room. Lake and children's play area in view from the front. Washer and dryer included. A gorgeous clubhouse promoting comfort, health with weights, treadmills and pool that clearly sets Polo Glen apart from its competitors. Beautiful location near Suntree Viera just minutes away from a premier shopping center, sports staduim, hospital and government complex.
The amenities are super nice in the neighborhood. The neighborhood is clean and well kept. The management company is actually kind and understanding. I love coming home to hear each and every day, and would recommend it to any of my friends.
