With unbeatable access to the San Antonio International Airport, located just eight miles from town, residents of Shavano have easy access to international travel, as well as various job opportunities. I would just like to say the maintenance crew went above and beyond when taking care of my washer leak. When I got home, not only did they take care of the problem but went as far as to clean up the mess. Completely dry, like nothing happened and they even put my wet clothes in the dryer. I cannot exaggerate the relief and gratitude I felt coming home to that. Thank you so much guys.

This is a wonderful property with a walking trail and swimming pool. It also has a great maintenance and management office. It is centrally located with little traffic.

So far, everything has been great! The office was incredibly accommodating with moving in, and any issues were resolved in a timely manner. The unit itself is a bit dated, but large.

So far everything is great. This is my first apartment and it’s very cute, and quiet. I love the area. I will say I wish the gym equipment what’s nicer, it’s a bit rusty.

One of the best apartments I lived in ! Very clean quiet friendly the pool is great the gym is great, I feel safe, maintained well , come a fix things fast , I love living here .

Good overall nice experience. Platinum Shavano Oaks is one of the best first apartment experience I had. They were very good to me and my Fiance from the start very quiet place very friendly community and the maintenance people were the absolute best and nicest people.

I love the apartment itself and the front office was helpful during the leasing process. However, the community seems to be a bit dirty. The hallways leading to the units are stained by trash, there is always trash in the hallways, and dog poop is everywhere - even the sidewalks or walking trail. I hope the management team can make some adjustments soon. On the bright side, the pool has been nice.
Beautiful Apartments. Impossible to reach anyone in the office. Nice community, area, and amenities. Office staff was nice but there has been zero communication and no one answers the phone.

I have been at this apartment for 2 months. One of my biggest complaints is the amount of dog poop that isn't picked up by residents. I have 2 small children and I can't let them run freely outside for fear they will step in dog poop. Office and maintenance have been helpful. I also received a noise complaint and we addressed with the office. Apparently it was the second notice when I didn't even receive a first notice. Again, I have 2 small children and live on the third floor. I try my best to keep their jumping to a minimum but during the day, it is impossible for toddlers.

I just moved in less than a week ago and it has been a great experience so far. The property is beautiful and the staff has been nothing short of amazing and professional . The first day we moved in we had a leak dripping from our bathroom ceiling. I got worried at first but the maintenance crew worked diligently to figure out what it was. It was an A/C line leaking in the ceiling from the upstairs apartment. It would only drip at night so it was a weird situation. It ended up that the neighbors don’t turn their unit on until the nighttime. The maintenance crew investigated and figured it out and had it fixed within the next day. Shortly after that we had a power surge during a storm that shorted out the electricity to our apartment. The maintenance crew called in electricians and worked intensely on that as well and had the issue fixed within a couple of days. They are extremely friendly and great at communicate very step of the way. I work from home and they have been great at letting me know when they’d be coming ahead of time so I can plan. Very friendly and even swept up under an appliance for me while they repaired. Thank you!

Only been here for about 2 weeks and so far everything has been great. Move In process was quick and easy. Staff were very helpful and responsive. Grounds are well kept and clean. Only complaints: Having hard time accessing my resident portal to make rent payment.

Maintenance is excellent. Efficient and reliable. Front office is friendly and the residents are their priority. They follow through with all requests quickly. Their communication is terrific. They plan food trucks at the community and occasionally have free breakfast tacos handed out in the morning as leaving the gate.

This is by far the greatest apartment complex I have ever lived in. Beautiful complex and amenities, super location. What sets it above is that management communicates well, reinvests in the property, and that the maintenance staff is fabulous!

I really like the property but there has been a lot of crime. I don’t even go out past dark if I’m alone. It’s disappointing that we never received the remotes for the gate. For the most part, it’s pretty quiet and that’s nice.

Management and maintenance are all awesome the best I have come across thus far. Unfortunately these apartments are for Dog lovers! Dogs EVERYWHERE! If you are retired or work from home be ready to listen to barking dogs morning, noon, evening and late nights with no consequences. Upstairs, next door and across the way, they are truly everywhere and loud. I unfortunately will not be renewing my lease for this reason. Nice apartments and area though

I would not recommend this place, last 11 months here has been hell and the front office and management is no help and non responsive.
