Property Ratings at Peppertree Apartments
Property management is horrible. We’ve had AC issues for years. Every summer it’s been at least 80 degrees in our unit in the afternoon and until midnight. There’s also mold in the windows, shower, HVAC access (we no longer have central AC actually. It broke and they replaced it with insufficient window units), and random places on walls and ceilings, basically everywhere. In winter, pipes routinely burst due to management negligence, and you will be out of water for at least a few days. There’s a cockroach infestation in our kitchen. The windows are as thin as paper, letting in moisture, heat, and cold. Also, most windows don’t open. The shared washer doesn’t clean your clothes; they come out dirtier than they went in. The dryer is okay, and I still use it, but they never clean the lent out and run the vent poorly (fire hazard). Maintenance will never actually fix your problem. They just paint over whatever it is, replace it with something of worse quality, or tell you there’s no problem and lie to you. If you can afford anything better than this, don’t even think about living here.
