Pecan Creek on McKinney Apartments

Chole was the best with everything I needed. Any questions or concerns she helped me with it all. I knew I was in very good hands with her. She is amazing

This community is close to shops and in a convenient area. There are lots of trees which is a blessing. The office staff is very friendly.

The Apartnent community has gone down, Hill somewhat . I can remember when we first moved here the community was nice. Never really had the problem we have now. But overalll the community is just ok

It was going well until I started having to go to the post office to pick up my mail and when maintenance comes to put in new appliances and leave the old appliances and box in the breezeway for more than a week with kids running around.

Move in process very smooth seems like a nice community. Office staff and maintenance are nice and very responsive. So far I am very happy here.

We have really enjoyed our time while living at the pecan creek on McKinney apartments! We love how beautiful everything is and how prompt and supportive the office and maintenance team are.

you would never get the amenities that you pay for you wouldn’t you will wake up and go two days without any working water and you would have to travel to the local postal office for your mail because they will not fix the mailboxes

Living at the pecan creek on McKinney apartments has been a great time so far. Absolutely in love with the apartments and have been enjoying my time living here.

I am been a resident here for going on 4 years. I’ve lived comfortably here too long to complain, but also know there is better comfort somewhere else.

The complex seems to be going further downhill. We have had shootings, more than one neighbor that needs to be gone, and more. Hopefully we will be able to move somewhere more peaceful with a safer feel and in a pleasant area soon.

Ofc staff & maint crew here are nice/friendly to me. However, tenants that are undesirable to have as neighbors due to them smoking marijuana in their apt, being unclean causing roach infestations & smelly smells that penetrate walls of attached apts are allowed to remain as tenants. Lease Agreements state this is a non-smoking complex & apt units/balconies are to remain clean at all times, vehicles must be in working order & up to date on vehicle registration. These aren't enforced or remedied, if enforced at all! Breezeways are NEVER cleaned by mgmt, are nasty, full of spider nests/webs along Breezeway walls/ceilings, Breezeway concrete floors are covered in stains/litter & stairway railing is dirty & never cleaned most my 9 years living here. Marijuana use in apts is now part of the norm in the bldg I live in since 2023. This is not a clean or drug free complex to live in, sadly. Until I find affordable housing elsewhere, I'll continue to voice my complaints wkly to mgmt.

For the past years living here, there was no regret even though I wish to own my own house. I appreciate all the staffs, all the way from the manager to the other staffs

Availability is excellent, help as soon as needed and you know exactly what you're doing cause the office helps with every step. We have live the place since we got here.

I loved my area is peacefully I'm here for 7 years I don't have problem with nothing. I'm happy in my home. No have disturb. The silence is my peace.

It has gotten a lot better than before we still have some things to address like upgrading the appliances so that we can get good tenants in the complex there are alot of new complexes coming up

I've been here for two years now and it started off really rocky But over the last past six months I have seen things improve and the only other true improvement That Needs to be made.Is the trash can situation and of course this backgate. Actually the gate situation all together because we are charged.A twenty five dollar monthly quickly gate file that most of us don't have and the gate state open so anybody can come in and out or either cancel the fee.

I’ve grown to love this community very much. Office staff have been quick to respond whenever needed. My neighbors personally have not been obnoxious or noisy. Grounds maintenance (cleaning) could be done more but it’s not awful. I’ve not had any roach or bug issues which is a big plus for me, always a big fear when having to move to a new place.

Neighborhood is good! And quiet for the most part Apartments are roach infested. I can’t go in my kitchen to cook without a ton of roaches coming out to see what’s for dinner. I spray my own bug spray and they’re still there

We love it here and the staff is great!! Whenever there is a need for maintenance or help from the office, Melissa and the staff are always there!!

I am not very happy anymore the complex and office and maintenance staff are great . Just not happy living here anymore. Seem like the community is going down hill riff Raff coming in and out all time of the night make noise screaming people leave saline bags in the hall just going down hill

I don't have problem with my neighbors. All are pleasure in my area. I like my home area. I breathe peace and calm. All time is silence. Thks

Preparing for the Holiday All needed surroundings and environments are getting cleaned and neat. Decorations are getting installed. Starting from Thanksgiving, to Christmas and New Year.

I want my experience to be great, but apartment living is a joke! It's too noisy, especially with the people upstairs, who don't have any regard for us who live below them, like they're the only ones who live here, and we don't-our comfort doesn't mean nothing to them-they don't even care!! We have roaches everywhere we look, spraying for them does no good!! I put in a report for maintenance no telling when, and it never was looked into- it seems like it's just a waste of my time and money! It doesn't feel like home to us and we don't want to even BE here!

It has been okay. Not great. We have had to put up with noisy argumentative neighbors for longer than seems appropriate. The complex seems to have gone downhill in regards to the residents, the upkeep of the property.

Maintenance has been much better lately about coming to see about my maintenance request. Front office people are kind. Roaches are still a problem

They aren't the worst apartments. But they do up the rent a lot without doing anything to upgrade the outside community or the inside of the apartments. I am not sure how they justify the rent increase. When your wages state the same they keep going up forcing people to move out

It's not the best place i've lived before, but it is far from the worst place. Denton is overall a great place to live. The apts are close to everything and major highways. The inside is very spacious and affordable for its size. Parking is good. Grounds could be cleaner, especially the breezeways. Overall, worth taking a tour and judging for yourself.

My experience this year has been way better I appreciate the things we are improving on getting the back gate closed to stop others from using our dumpsters.

I have been here for 2 years. And my first year was a bit challenging due to a disrespectful upstairs neighbor. And wasn't able to obtain much help from the front desk as time went on. Things got a little bad. Within my second year of being Here, things Have improved with the exception of some of the people that I live around who leave their trash in the corridor spit all on the walls and pee in the corners of our corridor which is very nasty.It makes it unpleasanto come home too.

Not terrible, nothing special. Maintenance requests take forever. Fixes are usually bare minimum until it’s eventually an emergency request. But the people who work here are usually friendly & reasonable for the most part.

This is a good place to live in. Office staff is nice and overall everything it’s fine. I wish we have more control of the animals lately we have seen a lot of new people coming in with dogs and don’t clean after them and it’s becoming something annoying as you can step on poop and it’s smells pretty bad.

The community is doing great office and maintenance staff are wonderful and very supportive. Only thing the community needs is more upgrades and amenities.

It’s was great from start to finish. When I came thru the door to sign the application all the way till it was time to sign the lease. Great communication skills and very understanding to what I needed. I appreciate that so much.

Great place to live! Lots of kids in the area include my own. My main problem is the roaches! I keep my house clean and dishes and I don’t even like to cook because of the roaches. I also take my trash out consistently. If the bugs could be fixed it would be close to perfect

Apartments aren’t bad for income based. Some bugs sometimes, just keep apartment clean. Office staff is friendly! The hot water runs out pretty quick

The apartment complex is getting better each and every week, they finally got security patrol, they replaced all the fencing around the complex Maria and her staff are great. Always polite and very helpful.

Awesome place to live! Kids enjoy having a playground onsite to go to when they want. Quiet area and safe. Would recommend to anyone looking for an affordable place to live!

Pecan Creek has been a convenient place with easy proximity to lots of things in the area which is great. There are plenty of trees which add a great deal to the landscape.

Ive lived here over 6 years and have lived comfortably/ peacefully here with my kids. They offer so many resources for us tenants as well. Its a friendly neighborhood as well.

Decent area, nice community, plenty of children in the neighborhood, not a lot of drama as far as I can tell. As far as maintenance you better stay on top of them if you really need something done other than that every body in the office is nice !

My experience here for the last 9 years have been up and down but for the last year and a half things have gotten better moving in the right direction pool looks amazing especially at night when u can see the lights on.

Love it here! Quiet property and clean! Love that my kids can play outside and feel safe. One of the safest properties I've stayed at in a very long time.

Just love it! Maintenance has been so helpful repairing our requests. And you can't ask for anyone better than Melissa!! We really enjoy living here!!

We’re very excited to continue living at the pecan creek apartments. We’ve been enjoying the pool recently as this summer heat climbs, and we love it.

The maintenance crew has been working very hard to take care of any issues which we appreciate. The new courtesy patrol is keeping an eye on the property which is helpful.

The complex is getting better, still needs alot of improvements. Office and maintenance staff are working hard to get this complex in order.

I been living here for years never had a problem. I would recommend if you looking for a place to check this apartments and give it a chance.

Maintenance is great here. They’re always very helpful, as well as the office staff. AC in my apartment keeps breaking and pool is closed almost every day.. they’re trying to make the apartments nicer by fixing the gates and building fences around the perimeter. Just wish the pool was more accessible with the heat.
