Property Ratings at Parkview Apartments
Apartments are heavily infested with bugs during peak seasons, walls are so thin you could hear every foot step above you, air conditioning and heat goes out very often, windows are not sealed at edges so air comes in, heat comes in, and bugs of all sorts have entryway to your home. Be prepared to have your vehicles possibly broken into at night. Operating hours are not a thing as the office is often empty and phones are barely answered even if they are there. I do not recommend living here.
If you're military I wouldn't advise you to move here. The prices are great and some of their staff members are very friendly but when you move out you're nobody to them. Long story short my husband and I had to move a few months early because his unit was about to deactivate. We took the proper steps to notify the leasing consultants about it and they said that as long as we gave them our orders and the 30 day notice that we had not worries and we would be covered. Moving out 2 days early they owed us for the days that we did not stay in the apartment and the remaining security deposit after they took the fee for the carpet cleaning, which they confirmed while my husband and I were still in the office. Almost A MONTH LATER they sent us a letter saying that we owe them because we moved early EVEN THOUGH THEY HAD ALREADY CONFIRMED that the apartment was in great condition and that they would be sending us the money that they owed us. So forth its going on 2 months now and I've asked to speak with the distract manager but instead I've been getting threatening letters from the leasing consultant that if we don't pay them that they will be sending it to collections, at that point we will have to pay 15% more along with another fee. We had a great experience for the most part with our apartment but as far as moving our and going through this its not worth it. If they tell you something I would as for it in writing with my leasing contract and thats for ANYONE!!
They make most issues the tenants fault and have leaky windows ( no caulking when it was built)
