Park View Apartments

If you are looking at places to live in Chicago, you should seriously consider Parkview Apartments. The staff are what makes this place special--Lauren, Howard, and the Maintenance crew (just a few that I have met so far)--go above and beyond for the tenants here, and truly care for them and their experience. In my short time of being here (a little under a month), the building has gone through improvements-whether it is adding fire pits to the rooftop area, or renovating the gym in the basement-it is apparent that the management of this place cares about the facilities and pursues improvement. However, I believe that the greatest example of the amount of care that the management has for the property and its tenants happened this past Air and Water show, where the property hosts a gathering on the rooftop for the tenants to view the planes fly overhead. While it was a well organized event, the thing that took me aback was to see the entire management group--property manager, leasing agents, doormen, and maintenance staff--come together with their families and interact with the tenants. At that moment, I knew that there was something special about this place--where you are not treated like a customer or a tenant-- but you are treated as a friend.

I moved here 3 months ago and absolutely love it! Lauren and all the other front desk people are super friendly and have no problems answering any questions I’ve had so far. My apartment itself is well remodeled and the building is in a perfect location. If you’re considering moving to Chicago I would highly recommend considering this place!

This is a great building. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. It's close to tons of public transportation options and restaurants and is right across the street from the park. Couldn't ask for a better location.

The building and its location are great and all, but the people providing the service are the best! No matter what problem you face, you know that there is someone to help you out. Since I first applied to move-in, I've been in contact with one representative who helped me with everything. Plus, management provides a printer for use by residents - which is great for college students :)

I've been here for over 5 years and I've had a great experience. This is a building with a lot of character and in great location. The staff is outstanding! They're very friendly, efficient, and truly care about their residents.

I've lived here for three years and counting. Management is understanding and will work with you when you have an issue. Maintenance is always responsive and will come fix your issue either the same day or the next day. Great location!

Great location, nice rooftop, plenty of transportation

I have lived in multiple apartments for a few years in this building. Management and maintenance are quick to respond. The location is perfect for access to the park and old town. Rooftop is amazing during warm weather months!

I have lived at Park View for over five years now. I absolutely love the location directly across from the park (Lincoln Park) and the lake view from my apartment. I also love the character and charm that comes with living in a beautiful 1920s building. Maintenance has always been great to work with. I also really love the rooftop and the amazing view of the lake and city skyline. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is due the fact that you have to pay annually to have AC units installed. I really wish they wouldn't charge quite so much for this service. But, overall, I have loved living here and highly recommend.

Overall great apartment. It was my first apartment post college and I don't have many complaints. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was that the price was steep compared to size of unit and the laundry is in the basement (and it costs a solid $10 a week to wash your clothes). Lobby and sun deck make up for minor issues. The one thing I will comment on is that I had a fear of bugs for such a large building and I have had NO issues. They do a great job cleaning and taking the trash out I haven't even seen a spider. Great first apartment.

Right by the park, rooftop views are great, management responds to requests very quickly. Heated by old radiators but hasn’t been an issue for me so far. Glad I got a 16 month lease.

Park View has been everything that I was looking for in an apartment. With many amenities and beautiful views, it has been the perfect place for someone new to the city. The lake is within walking distance as well as many great restaurants. The staff has been awesome with answering any questions or concerns and maintenance is always quick and efficient.

You can't beat the location of this building! Very close to numerous bus lines and not a far walk from the Brown Line. Being close to Lincoln Park and North Avenue beach in the summer is a major incentive

I have been here for almost 2 months now and have had the most positive experience. The building itself has a lot of character and is right across from Lincoln Park. The location is great and there are a lot of transportation options. On top of that, the staff is friendly, responsive, and accommodating!

I have lived here since February in a studio apartment. It has a great view of the lake. Extremely friendly people live in the building. Full gym and laundry in the basement. Awesome views from the rooftop!! Walking distance to so many great restaurants, the Lincoln Park Zoo and Lake Michigan beaches. Can’t recommend it enough!!

I've been here a little under a month now and I'm loving it so far! The location is great, the building management is so helpful at answering my questions and they are often checking up on me to make sure I have everything I need, the maintenance staff shows up quickly and is very helpful, and receiving packages is a quick easy process. Very highly recommend!

I've lived here for a couple of months, and it has been excellent. Hard to find a better location - across the street from Lincoln Park, near a bunch of great restaurants and shops (especially along Armitage Ave), and a short walk to grocery stores. My unit was in flawless shape when I moved in. The staff is responsive, transparent and accommodating. Really positive experience!

This is a 90-year-old property in Lincoln park. It is a sturdy building. The units are spacious. The property is very well managed and maintained. The in house gym is adequate. The laundry room is clean. This building is on 5 bus lines. Street parking is always available. The building is secret. 4

There’s nothing I love more than enjoying a cup of coffee on the roof deck and watching the sunrise over the lake and beauty of Lincoln Park. My unit is beautiful and updated, I always feel safe, and the staff is great. It’s my 6th apartment in my 6 years in Chicago, and it truly takes the cake.

Great transportation. Older building with a lot of history. Beautiful lobby, and attentive staff. Best thing is the roof deck with incredible views of Lincoln Park, the lake and downtown.

Park View Apartments is a great place to call home. The location is fantastic because it's right across the street from the Lincoln Park Zoo and extremely close to public transportation. The furnishings in some of the apartments are not the newest but that's ok because the rates are quite inexpensive. The management is also wonderful. Olivia is one of the best leasing managers I've had. I definitely recommend living here.

We have lived here for over a year now since april 2019, the staff is very communicable and pleasant. The rooftop view is awesome with view of the lake and park right across the street. easy 15 minute bike ride downtown and very walkable area. would highly recommend! the apartments are roomy and have nice hardwood floors with an upgraded kitchen. also the price point is acceptable for the location too!
