Steeped in history and unique culture, Baltimore is among America’s most culturally-rich cities. Centuries spent as a major port city have contributed to a diverse mix of influences, resulting in the eclectic range of food and art found in Baltimore today. The relatively compact layout of the city makes life a bit easier for pedestrians and cyclists — it also means that, even though the city is home to over 600,000 people, it retains the feel of a much smaller community. The city’s neighborhoods display a huge degree of variety, ranging from rowhouses to high-rise apartments to charming suburban subdivisions.
It’s an excellent city for sports fans, with the Orioles and the Ravens representing Baltimore in the big leagues. The arts community is quite active in Baltimore as well, largely thanks to the Maryland Institute College of Art and the huge Artscape festival that draws thousands every May.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Park Place
The apartments are so old and in need of rehabilitation that you will certainly hear your upstairs neighbors every move. If you are unlucky enough to have rude, inconsiderate neighbors, of which their have been more and more to move into the property, you will be subject endless thudding. Your ceiling will shake. You will feel as if you are living constantly in a disaster zone. There will be no piece. The rental office will offer no help of course, they will do the least just to get you off the phone. Recently there has been more suspicious activity, increased emergency vehicle presence at all hours, trash in the halls and on the grounds, and unsavory elements having loud, obscene arguments with no regard to anyone else. If you can put up with that, otherwise sure its fine have a blast.
Thanks to Melany, I had a great move-in experience, unlike I experienced with other leasing companies I've dealt with. Plus, the apartments are large and clean with washer/dryer and spacious and everything is close by. I am very happy with Park Place Apartments.
Great quiet place to live. Great community and staff!
I dislike leaving negative reviews, but it appears that I am not a valued resident of this apartment. I have previously expressed my concerns about noise from my upstairs neighbor, but nothing has been done. I let it go since I knew I wasn't valued and that my complaints didn't matter. NOW, maintenance repainted my bedroom wall and ceiling after a water leak from my upstairs neighbor. Maintenance splattered paint over my comforter, implying that he did not cover my furnishings before painting. I sent an email complaint to the office yesterday, and no one from the office has phoned to apologize or reimburse me for this problem. I had to phone the office TWICE today, and with no apology, I was advised to wait for the apartment manager to call me back “when she can.” Bear in mind that the apartment manager was in the office today, but AGAIN, and I am not respected as a resident enough to receive a quick call, apology, or reimbursement for this situation. Park Place Apartments has left me very unsatisfied.
It is 8.30 AM on 01/25/2016. A big snow storm happened two days ago on 01/23/2016. Since then not a single plow truck showed up yesterday or this morning. The apartments in the area was cleaned up by yesterdays afternoon. The streets around are very much plowed too. But there is no way to get to work because the apartment driveway is covered by 2 feet of snow. And nobody in apartment management cares. But believe me they care so much if you 5 minutes late with your rent payment.
This apartment is a nice starter place in my opinion. Great neighborhood. Close to shops on reisterstown rd. Washer and dryer in unit. Storage space. Also if you have cats they watch them for you while you are on vacation, change litters and feed them once a day. This is my first apartment and I know I will be here until i am ready to move to a house. Leasing office staff very friendly and greets you with a smile! Great place over all. Only downfall no pool but hey its still an awesome place.
I use to live in the heart of the city but now I live on the edge of the city , it has the feel of country living with many trees and a abundance of lawn, it a great safe community with people leaving all hours to go to work , The private parking spaces provides you with a place to park no matter if you come home early in the morning or late at night, it has a incredible staff that cleans the buildings every day and is on a transit line that gets you to any location in Baltimore with in minutes. Close to the high school that if you want to run that tract or walk you can do it only 3 blocks away. All the rooms are large you feel more of a house than a apartment with great wall space for your art-work or family pictures, with great large windows the sun comes in to keep those stuborn plants alive. Yea I would recommend Greenbrair apartments to all as it's more than a place to rent it a place to live
Más o menos, is a Spanish phrase that means more or less. I use this phrase as my answer to whether my family and I are satisfied with our apartment, "More or less." Why? Well, my wife and I have been residents of this community for 12 years. At first we were dating and living in separate apartments, then married and living together and finally with children in a third larger apartment. Over the years, we've had good relationships with the staff, maintenance, other long term neighbors and the like. However, needless to say, times change, things change. The buildings are aging but the maintenance staff is trying to keep up as best they can. For three straight years. We've had problems with our AC in both summer and winter. But they did hire a contractor EVERY time. Once, my wife and I were relaxing in our living room only to be surprised by the neighbors cat getting into our place from the bathroom linen closet! Talk about a surprise. BUT they came that night to fix the problem. For every noisy young "whippersnapper" there are good responsible residents. Again, it's not a bad community at all. They respond very quickly to issues. It's just that it's almost a comedy of errors. So many odd things occur due to building age, eccentric residents, etc. that it becomes humorously annoying. So, I feel that this community is "más o menos" satisfactory. There are some wonderful things and some things that are truly unfortunate. But I would recommend others to take a look at Park Place to see if it is a good fit. You may like it.
