Everything is great—I love the location and the unit layout, and the large patio area is a big plus. The only thing that would make it perfect is a designated off-leash dog area for dogs to run and play freely. Otherwise, so far I’m enjoying the community

Well, I'm really too new here to comment. Still adjusting. But will say that as far as the maintenance team goes, they respond immediately. Sorry I can't say the same about the administrative offices. Very poor response to phone calls.

I've been here for 15 years this time. Have come and gone several times since 1989. If things don't improve, I may not renew my lease. A friend of mine was treated so badly trying to lease a townhouse that she went to Irvine Company and was approved within 24 hours and moved there. She preferred to be at PN and had lived here before for many years. I would not recommend PN again, after raving about it for many years.

We have been living at Park Newport for three months and have to say that our apartment is everything we could have wished for! The grounds and buildings are cared for meticulously. The staff has been friendly, courteous, and responsive to any questions or needs that have come up, and as older residents we feel very safe here.

Living at Park Newport has been amazing—it’s quiet, well-kept, and the location by the Back Bay is hard to beat. The amenities are solid, the club house and pool are great spots to hang out at and they have food trucks twice-weekly as well as mini market stocked with anything you need. I've had a positive experience with the staff - always friendly, helpful, and attentive for any maintenance issues as well as when we recently transfered leases within the community. I highly recommend Park Newport to anyone looking for a great location and place to call home.

I have lived at Park Newport for 5 years and it’s been a great experience! Close to the beach, walk to Fashion Island, and easy access to the freeways. It’s a beautiful community with a resort style pool overlooking the bay. It’s like living on vacation! I highly recommend it!

Park Newport is a beautiful, quiet and convenient place to live in a lovely city. There is a wide choice of amenities. It is located close to many natural areas and beaches. Transportation is available nearby. Police and fire departments are next door. It is safe to go out onto the property at night, and generally feels very safe.

The continuous raising of rents and drastic increase in fees make it extremely difficult to live here on a fixed income. Being charged $100 to replace my lost pass into the workout room seems very excessive.

There is mold in the bathroom, the carpet has not been cleaned for more than a year and a half, there was a flood from above, leaving the ceiling yellow. There are minor damages that need to be fixed, and the drain in the bathroom is constantly clogged. Electricity bills have sharply increased, which makes me think about not renewing the lease and looking for a new place to live. In the common area, there are restrictions on coffee, and the jacuzzi is either not working or constantly in a dirty state. In the community club, there is noise from children, and no one ensures a comfortable environment in this space.

The location is amazing. 1 minute walk to the trails of the back bay. Pretty affordable for location. Apartment was flawless when we got the keys to move it. Overall, we really like it here.

I love the large living space and the floor plan. I wish there was more counter space but the kitchen is functional and I love having an eat in counter. The landscaping is beautifully maintained and the amenities and club house are wonderful. The complex has a fun and friendly vibe.

I have lived here at P.N. since 1983. I used to call it home. Past management have been good. Since the arrival of Grey Star this property has gone downhill. (I am not including cliff construction).Swap meets and sandwich boards have cheapened the property. I used to be proud to live here. No longer.!!

I've been a resident here for ten years. I've been happy until recently. The response rate from maintenance needs to improve, and the refuse room needs to get emptied more often. I have not said anything to anyone yet. I'd prefer to give Park Newport a chance to correct these issues.

It’s like a small town with almost everything you could need right here. All administrators & shop owners & security personnel & maintenance workers are very friendly & helpful. It’s a great little community.

When moving into the apartment, they indicated that there were problems that needed to be fixed, 2 weeks passed and no one showed up. After the repair, the paint on the doors and walls is swelling and peeling off in places, after which they will present us with an invoice for correction, but unfortunately, your repair is so weak!! !! When we moved in, the carpet in one room was dirty and still hasn’t been cleaned!!!! parking is small in the garage because there is a large car nearby and parking is not convenient, in the office the attitude towards the client is not very good, we pay for everything and do not use it for free! very unhappy

I really enjoy living at Park, Newport Apartments and townhomes. From the first time that I visited the apartments and townhomes I felt at home. My overall experience has been amazing. The community is quiet. It’s peaceful, I feel comfortable when I’m at home. I feel safe and secure and I love being in my home. I would definitely recommend families of any size move into Park Newport. I think they have something for every walk of life or stage of family existence from a young families to single people because there’s something for everyone to do here. There’s a playground there’s tennis courts. There’s a clubhouse there’s tons of swimming pools. there’s lots of walking paths, it’s a quiet environment. I think the loudest thing that I hear from time to time are the coyotes in the canyon but that’s wildlife and it’s OK but other than that, I think it’s an amazing place to live and I would highly recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a new home.

I think the maintenance is great. They replaced my old leaky faucet in kitchen and rusty drain stopper in bathroom toilet. Both items were a constancy issue before. I didn’t even expect this and after being here for 10 years I appreciated this. The staff is very courteous and kind. The work gets done quickly and they communicate well afterwards.

I have lived here for 11years, basically drama free. My mother lived here over 20 years ago. But as it is inevitable, things change. Hopefully we can add some more community pride in living here. Enforcing rules about not using front porch as your personal storage. Fixing burnt building, I have to see it everyday when I leave my townhouse

Park Newport is an incredible place to live. I moved in a week ago and I’ve already met amazing people, I love the ethnic diversity, I love that people are from all over the world live here and we all live together in one community.! The amenities are amazing and everything is very clean and taken well care of. The management team and the security staff are very easy-going and willing to work with you on all different levels.

Park Newport is a perfect residency for the active seniors. I am a retired 75 years old been living here for 13 month so far. Here are all kind of activities that you enjoy all year round. I think Park Newport is one of the best places to live in Southern California for any senior citizen.
