About five miles south of Downtown Chicago, Bronzeville is a historic district containing six structures on the National Register of Historic Places. Prominent figures such as Gwendolyn Brooks, Sam Cooke, Ida B. Wells, and Louis Armstrong helped shape Bronzeville into the cultural and progressive community it is today.
Public art fills the streets of Bronzeville, from vibrant murals to elaborate sculptures, most of which line Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. Lakefront recreation abounds at Burnham Park. The Illinois Institute of Technology lends unique architecture and intellectual pursuits to the neighborhood. Lake Meadows Shopping Center provides an outdoor haven for all kinds of retail delights.
Bronzeville is also notable for its proximity to major amenities such as Guaranteed Rate Field, Washington Park, the University of Chicago, Museum of Science and Industry Chicago, McCormick Place, and Arie Crown Theatre.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Park Boulevard 2B
Spacious Newly Well Built units, with a Modern Appeal, Has a Condo feel, Well Managed and Clean, Quiet Location, and most importantly affordable apartments... that is close to almost everything you could want. Definitely one of those hidden gems within the city. I absolutely love living here and waking up to an amazing view as the sun rises and sets.
Everything is well maintained, clean and quiet inside the building and located in a moderately safe neighborhood. The property was built in 2015 so everything is brand new and some residents have access to garage parking (for an extra price). It is walking distance to both the green and red "L" train lines for a 10-20 minute ride downtown. The location is the only downside as there are no shops/restaurants/bars/grocery stores within walking distance.
This building is very very new. So all appliances are up to date. Very modern building. It is located right between the red and green train with many bus stops nearby. They did a great job with the huge windows and high ceilings. I can't even hear the traffic or trains going by. There is a park in the back yard and a little baseball field in the front area. Very kid friendly area. Starbucks and Jimmy Johns is just down the street maybe a 5 min walk. Though there is not a washer and dryer in the apt there is an entire room with washers and dryers on each floor. Cost $1.25 per load. You don't have to worry about walking your trash to the dumpster either. There is a trash shoot on each floor as well which is convenient. I love that the entry way is locked so only tenants have access inside unless buzzed in. Certain apartments in the building have covered parking where as others do not, it is chosen at random. 1 parking spot is included in rent which is rare in chicago normally have to pay a monthly fee. They even offer storage for tenants at a small fee which is awesome. The ladies who work here are very nice, welcoming, and knowledgeable. My fiancé and I were new to the area so they helped us with places to go and things to do. I feel very safe and I am very happy with the decision we made to move in to this apartment building.
My apartment building is brand new so everything in the apartment is new-great. The apartment has floor to ceiling wiindows in the living room and a bedroom which gives lots of sunlight. The appliances included are refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, and garbage disposal. Cerami tile in kitchen and bathroom all other rooms carpeted. The bathrooms are huge. Laundry room on each floor so need to go out. Central heating and air. The location is excellent. Close to expressway and local transportation if you don't want to drive. Did I mention free parking? Yep that too. Doesn't get any better!
My apartment is in a new building. Everything is fresh. Great location next to Metra, Red Line, and Green Line. Parking is also included. Area is quiet and next to a park.
