The San Jose Municipal Rose Garden is in walking distance of Rose Garden condos. It has over 180 different rose varieties in an array of colors, from yellow to white to pink and red. Rose Garden is one of the oldest neighborhoods in San Jose, with 19th century homes occupying almost every street - especially on Hedding Street. Before the gardens, however, pear and prune orchards thrived in the area.
