Architecture Landscape Museums Close-Knit California

Rose Garden’s historic Victorian homes, coupled with a beautiful landscape, make this San Jose community a desired place to live. In addition, you’ll discover the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum center as well as the lush 5.5-acre rose garden for which the neighborhood was named.

The San Jose Municipal Rose Garden is in walking distance of Rose Garden condos. It has over 180 different rose varieties in an array of colors, from yellow to white to pink and red. Rose Garden is one of the oldest neighborhoods in San Jose, with 19th century homes occupying almost every street - especially on Hedding Street. Before the gardens, however, pear and prune orchards thrived in the area.

Residents of this close-knit community enjoy easy access to Interstate 88, the Westfield Valley Fair Mall, and Guadalupe River Park.
