Great property. Unfortunately, tenants still smoke, in this non-smoking, beautiful property. This is a dangerous nuisance.
Amenities are always clean and available (grill, pool, gym), and maintenance is quick to resolve issues. Parking is plentiful. Unfortunately the dumpsters fill up quickly between 8181 and 8171.

Worst leasing office operation ever. Since the last 3 years the breakdown on communication has worsen. Repairs on appliances are delayed, emails and calls are unanswered. Even the events and activities that made it fun are not longer happening frequently. Meanwhile they are money hungry and would charge you for the smallest thing. I no longer recommend this place.

Overall, good place to live. Walls are pretty thin, so I can hear neighbors to the side and below me. Also I’ve had issues with being promised a garage twice and then being told the garage was given to someone else. Outside of this, the staff are kind and it’s a good location for me.

Great place to live near by industry and walking distance to all essentials and restaurants.Great school system and sandwich in between Baltimore, Maryland, and Washington DC and easy to get to Ocean City and all the nature parks and trails.

I just renewed my lease for the 3rd time because Paragon is a very comfortable apartment complex. The staff is very good and responsive. The property conditions are good and kept up. I do wish that they would update the kitchens with more "stylish" and modern appliances, but the team did replace two appliances this year (new, but the same, older styles). Location is terrific; the clubhouse, fitness room and pool are kept clean and updated.

Very nice area all stores are near, environment is pretty clean. All Major roads are near and easy access to main roads. The environment is nice however more security is needed on the premises to prevent theft.

Apartments are really good they have good maintenance and also nice amenities, also this very close to all major groceries and major connectivity roads. One important thing they need to improve is proper information provided by front desk people and they are very rude and arrogant, they need to improve their way of behavior with the front desk people.

This area is beautiful close to all local grocery stores I’m able to walk to Costco Trader Joe’s Aldie 5 below etc! Wonderful location if you work in aDC or Baltimore. Very close proximity to 95!

This place has gone downhill in the last 3 year I have been living here. About 4 months ago the washer broke. It took the property management office more than a month to fix it. And now the washer has broke again. It's been 2 weeks and it still hasn't been fixed. The state of the appliances are disastrous. Two months ago, the water heater broke. It took them two tries and almost a week to fix it. There was no hot water in the apartment, in the middle of winter, for a week. They keep conducting checks on vent filters and unnecessary inspections on people's balconies but when it comes to repairing appliances... Nothing. For the prices we pay here, this is ridiculous. I not longer recommend this place.

We love our apartment but neighbors above blast music and walls are thin. maintenance requests can take a while to be filled but the staff is friendly and helpful

It's a very beautiful property, yet the security isn't adequate nothing would make that up. If you are not doing anything about it it's the properties fault.

Paragon is a very pleasant apartment community. Amenities include the outdoor pool , indoor fitness center and bicycle rooms in every building are well maintained and offer good facilities. Location is great, very convenient to shopping, parks, bicycle paths, etc. Staff is very pleasant.

I’ve really enjoyed living in this apartment! The space is clean, well-maintained, and has everything I need. The management is responsive, and any maintenance requests are handled quickly. Overall, very good experience. Moving was smooth and getting the keys worked out well. Only comment is with maintence. Some of the requests we placed have not been addressed as quickly as we would like but overall minor concern. Would recommend.

Everything is good here safe nice friendly people friendly dogs the free hot chocolate is nice with he free coffee parking is easy to find would recommend to anyone who wants to walk to costco

Paragon has changed since I first came and not for the better. The appliances need to be updated. Nothing is done to people who refuse to pick up after their dogs( cameras?) Lack of Decency to answer emails sent to office. I’ve written several and got no response. Paragon can do better!!!

I had a very pleasant experience on the tour with Brianna. We are all set to move in a few months and can’t wait! There is a lot of space for dogs which is a key factor.

Paragon does take pride in making sure the landscape and buildings are clean. The Leasing Office always have nice events and host appreciation notices and gatherings for the tenants.

Marketed as a place to enjoy quiet and peace. This complex suffers from theft, heavy odors of smoke seeping throughout buildings, loud parties and very little to provide for long term enjoyment. Anyone with known health issues would not benefit from living in such a location. The complex itself is a health hazard, inadequate ventilation, lack of enforcement of contractual aspects of lease, and aging appliances make this place largely unsafe to truly live at.

I love it here. Its convenient being next to grocery stores and gas, and the apartments are nice. Housing staff is courteous and attentive. Only thing against it is the Costco parking lot traffic can make it hard getting in and out of the community, but there is a light that is right next to the apartment complex that helps mitigate that.

I absolutely love living here. I have been long enough to witness property management and staff coming and going but each one has always been top tier. The only issue I have is neighbors not cleaning up after their pets

Let’s start off with the leasing office. The entire office associates and managers are AMAZING. They assisted me so much to ensure that I can move accordingly. Now into the beautiful apartment…. The floor plans are all so gorgeous and the outside view are STUNNING!

Clean and quiet environment. people are friendly. Very accessible to groceries and banks, the area has pretty much every basic thing you need . Staff are friendly and professional.

Paragon at Columbia Overlook is a very nice place to live. The residents are friendly and the staff is very professional and efficient, and have excellent customer service skills. It is expensive, but I guess you get what you pay for, very nicely maintained buildings and apartments and landscaping always done on time. I love it here, and plan to stay as long as I can afford to pay the rent.

(Pros) Easy application thru online, friendly leasing agents. Clean unit to move in. Plenty of parking, close proximity to Costco, Trader Joe's and other shops. Easy highway access. Nice amenity areas and fitness rooms (two). (Cons) Floor is thin and I can hear all the foot steps and running (kid) sounds from above, highly recommend to get the top floor unit if you can (it has an elevator).

Paragon overall has been good. When we first got here they said our trash fee could be waved but just got in the mail that we owe $180 for the past 6 months of their billing system not billing us a trash fee. Mismanagement and lack of communication is an issue and not taking accountability for these problems and just saying, “it’s in the lease” and you have to pay it is what they always say. Will not be renewing lease especially with rent prices not going down while others in the area doing so.

Paragon is a very pleasant living experience. The maintenance and office staff is very responsive. The community is generally well kept and quiet. The fitness room was just upgraded. I wish that they would upgrade the kitchen appliances.

I have been living here for 5 years and I have no desire to move until I purchase a home. The property management is very friendly and welcoming. Maintenance never takes long to fix an issue. The only problem I have is some of the residents not cleaning up after their pets

Community location is great, amenities are great, the grounds are wonderful. The apartment common areas are kept very clean and maintained. However parking security should be made a more top priority for resident vehicles. However I have been happy for the most part.
