The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Oxford Arms
Place is so old—which means foundation has issues, gaps in windows and doors allows water and bugs to get through. I’ve had every infestation of insect due to this...it’s as thought I’m living in an unkept basement Always killing spiders, silverfish, and other gross insects. I love the location and area, but the problems with structure really takes away from the pleasant. Even with a renovated apartment. You’ll still find a lot of issues!

This is one of the Very Good Communities we moved from California. we lived here for 2 years. Everything is easily accessible. Kid-friendly and Safe environment. Management is very good and the Leasing office manager Stacy is very kind, good and knowledgeable. This community has a lot of trees and is close to nature. Happily lived here and won't hesitate to come back to this community in case we get a chance. Strongly recommend.
Property Manager at Oxford Arms, Responded To This Review
Hi. Thank you for the 5 star review! We are happy to hear that you are enjoying your experience at Oxford arms and we hope to continue to exceed your expectations! Please let us know if there is anything more that we can do.
I moved to Oxford Arm apartment 10 month back from another state. The apartment is old and not well maintained, the electrical appliances are old and break very frequently. The maintenance is poor and I think its expected in Edison or may be NJ. For me, the only good thing is the wooden flooring and near to Edison station. The leasing agent is good lady and responds promptly. The landscaping too is poor.
I visited the leasing office and the lady at the office was very rude. First few minutes she didnt even pay attention forget about greetings. Then when I asked for two bed rooms she gave me the brochure (Which I could easily get online) then started staring at Computer without typing anything :) When I asked questions she rudely answered everything is mentioned in Brochure. Coincidently, I found the similar review from 2 years back. It looks they have same resource working without promotion and depressed or Oxford Arm has the minimum criteria of rudeness for hiring :) Here is the review from Two years, you can easily find 1 STAR review “I visited once Oxford arms to look at 2 Bedroom apt, and notice lady in leasing office was very rude. It was even difficulty for her to look at us and talk properly. I felt like she was thinking herself as property owner. ”
I've lived in several complexes and this one is the best. Office Manager is warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. Maintenance is good. Landscapers could be better. The best thing is that the residents are friendly and courteous. Free shuttle to the Edison Train Station for residents. Use of pool is extra but not required. No gym onsite but plenty in area. Have access to shopping galore! Very kid friendly. Accepts pets.
Oxford Arms is an excellent rental community away from the hustle bustle of the city yet very well connected to the city with some great amenities. Each apartment has its own washer/dryer and centralized heating and air conditioning with ample storage spaces. Community also has a Pool, Playground and also a Tennis Court. Other amenities include shuttle to and from the Edison Train station. Maintenance requests are also catered to pretty quickly. All in all a great place to come back from a long hard day's of work and relax.
I would like to respond to the review by Dave. I've been a tenant her for 2 3\4 years and I must totally disagree with Dave. The community is filled with good people, middle to upper middle class families. The leasing agent is quite helpful. We moved here from NYC in 2011 and it was the best move we made.
I visited once Oxford arms to look at 2 Bedroom apt, and notice lady in leasing office was very rude. It was even difficulty for her to look at us and talk properly. I felt like she was thinking herself as property owner. while leasing this is behavior, god knows what will happen once apt is leased and money is paid. I decided never to take apt in this community.
