Owenspark Apartments

When I was first searching for apartments in the SF Valley they all seemed so expensive. I managed to find this apartment on Craigslist for relatively cheap compared to a lot of surrounding apartments. The area is OK. Being across the street from a park is kind of cool and convenient at times. Otherwise it is a pain. There is always traffic, never any parking and the weekends are loud. There are always some family get-togethers at the park that play their music fairly loud and the courtyard of our apartment amplifies the sound. During summer it isn't that bad only since it is too hot to leave your windows open. The great thing about this apartment is that there are 2 AC units in the apartment; one in the living room and one in the bedroom. There are also 2 ceiling fans; one in the kitchen/dining area and another in the bedroom. The floors are nice laminate wood and the unit was freshly painted before we moved in. The baseboards and walls were nice and clean. The management is always available via text or phone call and they are pretty responsive to your needs. The negatives are: PARKING. The parking is not so great. My designated parking spot is covered, but by a tree. I always have bird droppings or leaves and dirt on my car. I tried using a car cover only for it to get decimated by droppings. My side of the parking does not have an automatic gate so I need to manually open and close the gate every time i leave or arrive. The laundry is pretty expensive, about $1.50 per load in either washer or dryer but at least there are two laundry rooms. The water pressure isn't the greatest and it is surely affected when someone else is using the water at the same time. Overall, we have been happy here. They allow pets which was a huge plus for us and our two cats. The square footage is great for the price and the unit itself is pretty solidly built. The noise is ok depending on who your neighbors are. Right now, its hit and miss but if you have your windows closed its fairly quiet. If you're looking for a decent unit at a budget price, this is a great place.

Please remove this from this page please the comment is not accurate . We have gated communities with remote control , it’s a family oriented atmosphere And we have a no pet policy. Building is kept clean and quiet good neighbors!
