Overture Centennial 55+ Active Adult Apartment Homes

I am quite pleased and satisfied with living here. And, I have no major or serious complaints.

You know what they say about where you live - "Location, location location!" We are 5 minutes from downtown Raleigh with Dix Park on one side, Pullen Park on the other a Cathedral on the hill to the North and NCSU all around us. We have an NCSU bus stop in front of our building (yes it's free) and the city bus stop just a short flat walk away. The apartments are upscale and ours is very spacious. The staff are warm and friendly and the maintenance crew are punctual and knowledgeable. We love living here and are involved with the community in many ways. It is a tightly bonded community and we look out for each other.

Overture Centennial is a clean and orderly place to live with many activities on offer for the residents.

A excellent community with a variety of amenities. There is something for everyone here.

I have lived in Overture since it opened March 2020. I am very happy here Star, Greg and the team have done so much since they have arrived to improve our complex. We are all very lucky to have them and look forward to the new year with them I hope to stay here as long as I can, as I consider this my home, not just an apartment complex.

Overture Centennial is a wonderful 55 active adult community that truly feels like home. The amenities are excellent and well-maintained, offering plenty of ways to stay active, social, and relaxed. The residents are warm and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere from day one. It’s also located in a safe, peaceful area, which adds to the overall comfort and sense of community. A great place to enjoy an active and fulfilling lifestyle!

My experience here has been met with friendly residents and great leaders especially Cati who provides the residents with diverse activities. The residents also provide many activities.

Wonderful Friends and a Hard Working Staff. I have resided here since 2022 and enjoyed activities, lunches and dinners with people from all over the United States.

Overture Centennial is a fabulous place to live. The apartments are very modern and comfortable. The management team led by Star is very professional and is very focused on a great resident experience.

Great people to work with on the management staff as well as maintenance .we have been totally pleased with all aspects of our stay here.there are always a lot of events you can either attend or pass on.

In our almost 2 years here we have had no issues or problems other than a small issue with the dryer that was solved in 4 minutes.it has been very quiet here and the staff from the house keeping maintenance and management have always been professional and courteous.after living in a house for 42 years there was a lot of anxiety about moving into an apartment but can only speak about here this has been an excellent choice.

I like living here. It has a great sense of community. At 75 that's important. I need people to watch out for me. I gladly, watch out for others.

Sometimes replys from staff take way to long. It is understandable sometimes but not always. Outside of that this palce is a nice place to live.

I came here over three years ago and was very apprehensive. I had moved from a resort community and couldn’t imagine liking it here. I am overjoyed with this community. Everything/everyone is above my expectations. Thank you Overture Centennial!

I still enjoy my place. Air-conditioning is broken on the third floor for weeks. They are trying to fix it. Still get water smell in my faucet. They keep taking away activities. We need more activities in the evening and on the weekend for people who work. It’s supposed to be an active community, but we’re getting more and more elderly Who are not being active. We need things like shuffleboard and bocce ball. Office type work area copier printer.

I have nothing but praise for Overture Centennial. The location couldn't be better. We are steps away from beautiful Dix Park and within walking distance of Theatre in the Park and all NC State sports events held on campus. A large shopping area including a Harris Teeter supermarket is just a couple of miles away. Volunteer work is nearby- Meals on Wheels is located in Dix Park. The Catholic Cathedral is up the hill. Overture Centennial is just a few years old and is kept in excellent condition by the cleaning and maintenance staffs. Throughout the year there are many opportunities to meet new friends with all the activities available. 5 stars in my book.

We're getting better. . .tightening up some needed systems, community checks, community programs. We have new Manager & Assistant Manager who both seem interested in being as responsive as they can be while still running a business.

Overture Centennial is a wonderful place to live. The apartments are modern and comfortable. The management is very professional and does a great job.

Although rents for apartment living have gone up, Overture seems to be consistent with other similar senior apartments in the area. However, some of the unit prices seem to jump in price rather extravagantly when the lease is up for renewal. That is my major concern, as I would like to stay here, but my Social Security and pension do not keep up with the increase of the lease amount, and that concerns me. Otherwise, I am very happy living here and glad I found this place to call my home.

Living here is super nice. Staff go out of the way to be helpful with a smile, and so much patience. Maintenance staff are the same- patient and helpful, and get the job done smoothly and efficiently. Great place to live.

Tha activity director is very talented. She has added a lot of events/activities that are diverse, fun, creative, thought provoking etc. The monthly activities are given to each resident in order to know what is being offered.

This is my home and I feel safe and happy here. It’s kept clean and I make sure my apartment is also. I have always liked for my home to be clean. There is a lot to do here. Games to play, cards, Bingo , etc. and several more. We have real good movies in the reel room. The rent is awfully high for me, but so far I have made it! The entertainment is always good! Everyone enjoys the games and movies and just sharing together! There are times that we help each other deal with a problem or just listen to what may be going on with their lives if they want to speak in confidence. Sometimes I just listen and pray for them. Never do we share a confidence. The meals we sometimes have are very good. The parties are fun! And celebrating birthdays is always good. The Staff is there to help us in any way or in anything. Over all, I like it here so much !

The active lifestyle here is exactly what I needed. I love the social atmosphere and the fact that I don't have to worry about yard work anymore. It's been a fantastic place to call home. This communities offer amenities like pools, fitness centers, and clubhouses, which us residents can use to stay active and social.

Just a great place to live and enjoy life.you can be as active as you choose and the staff as well as maintenance are always there to be of any help.first time renting an apartment and wish I had done it sooner or at least at overture.

I relocated to The Overture Centennial from another state as a recovering stroke survivor, and I’ve never felt more welcomed. The staff and residents have created a space where I feel supported, encouraged, and able to thrive. I especially love the diversity here—people from all over the country, united by a shared sense of peace, kindness, and community. I’m truly grateful to call this place home.

Living here at Centennial Overture has its perks! There are many events that management sets up for the tenants. Also, brunches and sometimes for holidays and special occasions, dinners are served for the tenants. Lastly, the apartment complex is very well cared for. Clean, comfortable and well cared for.

Everything is good to exceptional, especially the activities and personal interactions with other residents. These are foremost in my evaluation of community.

We selected Overture Centennial over other apartments because it was clearly the best value in the area considering facilities, location, etc. To our pleasant surprise, those paled in comparison to the value and quality of the community.

Great place to live which has a great staff that can easily make or break anyone’s experience which is why I chose to live here.the location to all of my needs from stores to doctors and hospital.was scared to death to move into an apartment since we had lived in our home for 52 years but overture made it so simple and easy.

I have had a wonderful experience at Overture Centennial. The apartments are beautiful and modern, and the professional staff, Cat, Desiree, Jane and Erika are extremely good at their jobs. The maintenance team, Greg, and Shawn are very responsive and very prompt. There are many activities to undertake and the residents are very friendly

We chose Overture Centennial with the hope that we would be able to make friends and be active in our community and greater Raleigh. All of our hopes have come true. The community of people at Overture is welcoming, the staff work really hard to create events and activities to keep us engaged, there are opportunities to learn about Raleigh, and the location can't be beat!

For the most part I am pleased with Overture Centennial and intend to stay here as long as I can afford the rent. The staff tries hard to help the residents and they are usually easy to talk to and willing to help us in whatever way they can.

Great staff and really fun residents!! Good place to live. I feel very safe and appreciated here! Lots of fun activities and gatherings. The only downside is that when i give reviews, the system tries to make me publish more characters than i want!!

This is a great place to live, especially for those looking for lots of socially interactive opportunities, like staff hosted socials, cards and other games, clubs and groups.

I like living in this very active, friendly community. The location & surroundings are great. There are many activities that are not only Overture sponsored, but are resident driven as well. There is always something to do.

I love living at Overture Centennial!!! First of all, location, then amenities, then never ending activities. There is always something to do, something to get involved in with your neighbors. Now, I'm still working, but I'm looking forward to when I do retire, getting in on some of the fun. Last, the lovely building itself, and it is always clean and fresh smelling. This is a huge accomplishment because our building has it's share of fur babies and you would never know it. You've got to come check us out!!.

Overture Centennial is a nice place to live. It’s in general clean and secure. Management is available if needed and they are helpful and responsive. Maintenance for the apartment is quick and helpful. Unfortunately the outside surrounding the building and Maintenance for public issues is failing. Sings are not replaced, dog stations are crooked and not attended to. Locks don’t work correctly. for weeks and months. It looks like that nobody is checking the place on a regular basis. And that’s too bad because it’s a nice place.

it has exceeded my expectations in all categories. the staff has been excellent and always accessible even though I have not had the need of them since there have been no problems but there are always smiling and being helpful to others.if looking for a place that is just a nice quiet and no maintenance then this is the place for you.

I am pleased with the entire Staff here. The younger Staff displays life and vitality in their daily routine and encounters with us. Jane is like she has known us throughout the years. The young Maintenace Men are abreast of duties and requests to be done. requests are done in timely manner, clearup afterward is done if needed. The grounds are maintained beautifully. no trash or overgrown hedges.The entrance display areas are a welcome sight to see, whether from a room in my apartment, driving into the parking lots, or outside on a leisure walk.

Good, friendly people Would recommend this apt building. You can meet nice people I like the maintenance department. They are attentive and they are helpful

I have had a wonderful experience at Centennial Overture. the apartments are great, the maintenance team is notch, and the management is focused on providing everyone a terrific experience.

I get a lot of help from the staff. They are easy to work with. All I have to do is ask, make my request very clear and all is taken care of. This is a very nice why to work with others
