The rent continues to rise, and general maintenance on the buildings and parking lots are minimal.
Love my apartment, most people I know/met here are friendly, some let me pet their friendly dogs. Not sure how I feel about paying for parking!!!!?
I think the leasing office staff was super nice and informative. Everything was handled very professional, which made it easy to decide whether to apply for an apartment here. Because I feel like a person’s attitude and how they carry themselves goes a long way. Other than that; the property is well maintained and seeing a community that is pet-friendly was a plus for me!

I have had a positive experience at Orion Prospect Apartments. The management team, especially Cheyenne, is fantastic—knowledgeable, professional, and always eager to assist. While there are some minor maintenance and other issues, they do not overshadow the overall quality of the community and the excellent service provided by the office staff.

Apartment is very nice, access to public transport is hit and miss, mail room is a total mess and deliveries not put into the lock boxes will get lost, communication and issue resolution with management is extremely tedious and difficult.
Very good community to be living in especially for older adults like my husband and I. We feel safe.
Just don’t live here. You’re gonna pay way overprice for a mediocre apartment. There’s trash and dog waste all over the property. Residents themselves have no respect for their neighbors or other community rules. Parking sucks and the towing company is even worse.

The leasing management and leasing officer Star made it easier for me to sign my lease and move in. They provided useful information and they are very knowledgeable about Orion Prospect and the procedures on applying for lease.
Orion prospect does not treat there tenants well. They recently chose to tow there tenants cars for any reason they can find to nickel and dime their tenants. We pay our rent and deserve to park where we live in peace. I have lived here for several years but needless to say I will not renew my lease and will be looking for alternative living conditions ASAP. I have spoken to many of my neighbors and they feel the same. Worst place to live!!!!! I would have given them negative stars if that was an option.

Orion Prospect has been all right. We have been comfortable and blessed to have a roof over our heads but Not worth the high rent for the quality of apartment as our unit is not remodeled or new and shared amenities such as laundry room are never functioning correctly

Started out rocky but has been an overall good experience with getting my repair orders in and done . Management has followed up with all of my needs .
I was applied August 11. They charged me an administration fee of $250 to process my application. denied my application and they do not return the money. They don't answer my emails and don't answer calls in the office. Never trust them.
Orion Prospect stays on top of keeping a clean community. I have been very pleased since my move-in date 7 months ago. The amenities are great and I always receive compliments about the area from guests when they visit.

I love the amenities and the flexibility it gives one to their schedule here! It's very green and clean outside of our homes! I admit though there isn't much sound deadening between ceilings, floors and the bathroom vent, but it has been a very comfortable place to live in compared to my last apartment (which felt very unsafe to live in)!

I love living at Orion Prospect because it is safe & no worries about finding a parking space. I love all the amenities of the exercise room & the swimming pool in the summer time. I even love the location because it is very close to the highway & bus service directly to the Blue Line going to airport or going into the city.

I was without Hot water for three 1/2 DAYS and it is and was inconvenience to go somewhere else and shower. I have two jobs and it was not a good situation. When trying to fix a boiler for days, they should have bought a new one there are plenty of tenets that need to take showers and go to work. and they should hire more matience to help out here. every year this happens either no water or no HoT Water!!! this will be my last year here I have gone through having mice's, rats, and no water or hot water. this place use to me nice.

My overall experience with Orion Prospect has been a pleasant one staff are friendly and responsive. Most neighbors are friendly and respectful, the complex offers many amenities and is close to a variety of stores resturants and the access to the expressway is a wonderful bonus.

contacted the main rental office for over two weeks and no reply from them so far . imagin what will happen if you lived in one of thier appartments and you needed a problem to be fixed . i can tell the customer service is awful and thank god i did not fail for their trap . stay away at any cost .

I've been living here for about 10 months so far no complaints, love the area, its quiet and can't complain about the neighbors. The laundry room is nice, only problem sometimes people don't take out the clothes right away. The people in the office are nice, and helpful.

I moved into the complex in 2017. I actually love living here. My first apartment I lived in was on the third floor. It was great other than walking up all those stairs. Lol, I had to move in a different apartment because I was actually going to move closer to my family that fell through. I decided to stay but my apartment was already leased out so I had to move into another building which they only had a second floor available which I do not like. I constantly hear my neighbors walking over my head, dropping things and etc. other than that it’s a great place to live!

Pros: management is great. Close to highway Clean Cons: Terrible construction- Walls are thing Electric sucks Paint is tacky ——— I’ve lived here for 7 months. The door slammed so hard for the first few days I almost broke my lease. I had (or still have probably) a mouse living in my apartment. It’s a weird environment. Single and young? Come here Young and together? Come here It’s a nice place to live if you don’t care

I have lived at Orion Prospect For about 2 weeks now and have been loving it. The apartments are cute and the community is very welcoming! The staff made the move-in experience very easy from start to finish and answered any questions I had in a very timely matter. If youre looking for an apartment I would definitely recommend Orion Prospect!!

There has been updates made which I do like. There is a mailroom which is great some or most places don't have that maintenance response time is good as well.

I have to admit I was skeptical about living here with all the negative reviews. I am now in the process of renewing for another year. I have always been a “washer and dryer in-unit and central HVAC” kind of girl, but the wall units are amazing in my unit. And the one in the living room is hidden in a cute shelving unit. The place doesn’t look like much from the outside, but they’re doing their best to improve that with the washing and painting. And the inside (at least mine) is super cute! I have an un-renovated apartment that comes with cabinets with a light brown finish and a pretty trim, cabinet hardware, vinyl wood flooring in the kitchen and bathrooms, and a pretty grey speckled carpet all over elsewhere. All in all, it’s super cute! Not the typical “un-renovated” apartment I’m used to seeing others offer. I’d say it is close to the first base level renovation that I had at a former residence. The carpet is not super good quality and gets worn down easily even with my rigorous cleaning, but it’s an apartment. And it’s really only noisy because parents have gotten comfortable bringing their children into our fire lane alley way and let them scream until around 10pm every night. I think they forget they aren’t the only ones living here. Other than that, the staff has been great (especially Kelly and Nicole). Maintenance has ALWAYS addressed my concerns in a timely manner and are very nice guys. I am a little bummed to learn that some residents do, in fact, have a washer and dryer when I was told otherwise at signing. It’s awful having to pay for that necessity when I would have been open to paying more for a unit with them. Other than that, the team is great and I am never worried about them taking great care of me and any concerns I have. Did I mention the property manager, Kelly, though? She’s the best.

Thank you so much for such a thorough and well-thought-out response. We always appreciate the kind words, and also the areas where we need improvement. The buildings, as you have noticed, are going through huge renovations and we anticipate all 30 buildings to be done by the end of October. As for the washers and dryers, really only 15 apartments out of 783 have in-unit laundry. This was a test years ago and at that time they must have decided the building plumbing system could not have all 783 apartments with washers/dryers. Please feel free to keep the feedback coming! Minor problems were present after first few weeks of living there, but besides that, great first apartment. Maintenance might tell you that you don’t pay for water though, when in reality you pay for just about everything on TOP of rent so keep in mind.

If there are any remaining concerns, please bring them to our attention and we will work on correcting them immediately. Not sure why the maintenance would tell you you do not pay for water since they are all aware that the residents pay for this utility. During the leasing process, we do make it clear that water/trash are additional and not included. Please let me know if you have questions regarding this since we are on a RUBS system and it is a bit more difficult to explain that individual meters. Kindly - The Staff at Orion Prospect
