This has been one of the best rental properties I have experienced and it is bittersweet to be leaving. The convenience of the management and amenities made every penny worth it. Also we loved the open floor plans and beautiful views from balconies. We are truly going to miss this place

I have been living here for a long time, this place has turned into a thug house after Trilogy take over from Optima. There is wreaking marijuana smell in the elevators all the time, maintenance is slow to respond, property manager is absolutely not nice, and now for the past few months we have been have large scale thefts. We had thefts in the storage units, in the garage, who knows what's next. Police stated that the building does not have the budget for enough cameras, but they sure do charge for separately for garage, trash disposal, amenities etc and keep raising the charges. I have been informed by the legal authorities that all their cameras face their own property for damage monitoring, not residents security. They have not taken any definitive actions to address the residents concerns. They are just giving out units on rent to all the new money suspicious people on short term lease for $$$. If one doesn't feel safe at home, then where else. So kindly, save your money and look elsewhere. I will be moving out soon as well. This community is not for good reputable families anymore.

Condo living is easy when you have a good management company, and this is not one. DCH Management is horrible and this company will do anything for a penny. I don't understand how this company is in business. The management company constantly lies and breaks/goes against the condo rules & regs. The building has an out of date AC/Heat system that management claims they do not have control. Air flow in units is abysmal. Building is poorly maintained and is being torn apart by birds from the forest preserve and it is negatively impacting individual units, however management will not remedy. Claims to have 24/7 Maintenance but only has contracted 'maintenance' (actually a poor excuse for a garbage collector) that is on site until 3PM M-F. There is one building engineer. The engineer has too much on his place. He doesn't answer calls in timely fashion and will lie to management about getting work done in units. There is so much more wrong with this place, but it's not worth my time worrying about it anymore. SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE AND DO NOT LIVE HERE, buy a house in Skokie or rent downtown Chicago for the same price.
New corporate landlord at 9725 Woods Drive is abusing existing renters when it comes time to renew their leases: adding new charges for parking, new surcharges for water/gas/trash services. Worst, they are charging exorbitant fees against the damage deposit for renters leaving the complex: $5 per nail-hole in the wall, window washing fees, just to name a few. Absurd. What will they do to the next renters? Recommended you rent from individual Owners, not these new corporate landlords to avoid future shock & awe.
The view of the Chicago skyline is gorgeous The optima old orchard is always clean and sparkling. The services are fantastic
