Property Ratings at One Uptown Newport
My experience with living here was extremely disappointing. Despite being advertised as non-smoking, smoke frequently entered my unit, causing health issues. I also dealt with severe noise issues from upstairs neighbors during late night hours, so loud that items would rattle and fall down. I only got around 5ish nights of undisturbed sleep over 6 months. I reported both problems multiple times and contacted the third-party security team more than a dozen times, but nothing was effectively resolved. These issues significantly impacted my health and sleep, and I was forced out of my unit. After leaving, I experienced a confusing and stressful move-out process with inconsistent and unclear charges. The unit was not listed as publicly available for several weeks after I moved, but I was still told I was rent-responsible during that time. There was also no acknowledgment or apology for the the situations that forced me out in the first place. I would not recommend this apartment to anyone who values a safe, peaceful place to live.
An absolute nightmare!!! In just three months, my mental and physical health have been wrecked, and I’m now seeking legal help to escape this place. The fire alarms go off countless times, often in the middle of the night, forcing evacuations. Imagine coming home to find fire trucks outside, all the residents standing around, while your pet is terrified inside the building. In December 2024, the building’s fire alarms went off countless times in a row, repeatedly forcing evacuations due to false alarms, and waking up residents from sleep in the middle of the night. This led to a dangerous decline in safety awareness among residents. The last time there was an actual fire, fewer people evacuated because many assumed it was just another false alarm. This is completely unacceptable.The noise insulation is horrible—you can hear every step your neighbors take, music blasting at midnight with lyrics crystal clear, and people screaming and crying in the hallways. The ceiling shakes! Management responds like AI—impersonal, unhelpful, and only interested in collecting money rather than providing fair solutions. Want to escape this nightmare? Be prepared to pay an outrageous fee just to leave this unbearable place. I cannot wait to move out, and if you truly hate someone, refer them to live here!
We recently moved in and we have been very impressed with the apartment. I like the design of the space. One downside is we wish there wasn't any carpet. It is very close to our work and in a great location on Jambore.

My fiancé and I moved in a month ago and we have enjoyed living at this community. Very clean and modern facilities. We face the greenery across the street and we love the privacy and nature view it provides
