Nicknamed "Duke City" in honor of the Duke of Albuquerque, Downtown Albuquerque has never strayed far from its roots. Spanish-style architecture mixes with contemporary designs, creating an unusual urban landscape. The city has more than 310 days of sunshine each year, making it one of the mildest in the United States. Due to its elevation, the city has milder summer temperatures than nearby Santa Fe or other desert cities. The Downtown neighborhood's location at the center of the city gives residents convenient access to restaurants, entertainment venues, museums, galleries and boutiques.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at One Central
The new managers are so much better, and they seem to be really cleaning it up and making improvements. If you work downtown or want to be close to the downtown life, this is the place to be.
The property feels unsafe with constant trespassing issues and weak security. Common areas are dirty, odors linger, and maintenance is neglected. Management turnover has only made things worse, and weekends are chaotic due to nightclub noise and disturbances. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere.
This property is not what it claims to be. The garage attracts trespassers and feels unsafe, the building is dirty and poorly maintained, and management shows little interest in resident concerns. Constant noise and problems from the nightclub next door make it even worse. Absolutely not worth the money.
I rented an apartment from half a country away from just seeing some video clips - and I'm glad I did! Easy-to-use amenities (elevators, laundry room, media room, social room) and more as well as laundry in the unit are amazing. I also really appreciate the parking garage. My car is off the street and out of the sun. Perfect! Alejandro (property manager) is super helpful and fun to talk to. If you're looking to move into downtown - check it out.
