Apartments for Rent Near Keiser University
The private, non-profit Keiser University was established in 1977. It was created by Arthur Keiser, who still serves as the Chancellor. When it began as the Keiser School, it served to prepare students for Florida's burgeoning business community. Today, Keiser has 18 campuses across the state, with its main campus in Fort Lauderdale. While Keiser University is a non-traditional university with a large online presence as well as weekend and evening classes for adult learners, they do have a sports program. The Keiser Seahawks have long participated in golf and baseball, and as of 2018 they also compete in football. Unlike most college campuses, Keiser University is contained mostly in one large building. This building is located at the intersection of Spectrum Boulevard and Spectrum Way. Northern Fort Lauderdale is blocks from the beach, providing fast access to activities like swimming, surfing, and beachcombing. When looking for apartments near Keiser University, look along NW 15th Avenue (especially north of Prospect Road) and along NW 49th Street. Commercial Boulevard is also a great option, and it provides several bus stops.
