Apartments for Rent Near Western Connecticut State University
The Midtown campus is the original location for the university, and is home to the school’s most historic buildings. This is where you’ll find the School of Arts and Sciences, the School of Professional Studies, and the majority of the university’s administrative offices. Around half of the 6,000 students enrolled at Western attend classes at the Midtown campus. Ives Concert Hall on campus serves as one of the most popular performing arts venues in the region (along with its counterpart, Ives Concert Park, at the university’s Westside campus); the Midtown location is also the home of the Jane Goodall Center for Excellence in Environmental Studies.
Living near WestConn’s Midtown campus puts you just a couple of blocks away from downtown Danbury’s Historic District. Main Street is lined with an eclectic mix of shops, restaurants, and bars, and the surrounding neighborhoods blend more popular hangouts among the apartments, condos, and rental houses, making for a highly walkable environment around the university.
