Beginning along Hillsborough Street and extending north to the Carolina Country Club, Village District is a large Raleigh neighborhood near downtown and North Carolina State University. Village District features restaurants and bakeries such as Rise Biscuits and Donuts, Café Carolina and Bakery, Benelux Coffee, and Tupelo Honey. The area also features several shops, boutiques, and a Harris Teeter grocery store.
Village District dates back to 1947 as North Carolina's first mixed-use community. In addition to the shopping center, it contained office buildings, single-family homes, apartment buildings, and condominiums. The oldest section of Village District is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. With its wildly popular shopping area, easy access to NC State and Downtown, and tree-lined residential streets, Village District is still the place to be.

The maintenance request was arranged one day prior to the scheduled maintenance, but I didn't receive a response. I contacted the front office, and they advised me to leave a message on the emergency line. This led to the maintenance team visiting our place. Although we were not present when the team arrived, they left a note informing us that they were out of freon until Monday. They provided a temporary window unit to assist us over the weekend. We were away in the morning, and upon our return on Monday, the air conditioning had been repaired.

I went without AC for a week and came home from being out of town to 4 live birds in my laundry room. 3rd party contractors are ruining my life lately

Fantastic apartments. The interior is luxurious and everything is new/looks new, we have access to covered garage spaces at no extra cost, maintenance requests have instant response on the day it is submitted, and there’s a lot of fun things you can access. These things include the pool, indoor and outdoor hang out areas, grills, gym, sauna, and a fantastic clubhouse with conference rooms, complimentary coffee machine that will make whatever coffee you desire, and community use computers. I’d say it’s very hard to beat.

Oberlin Court is a great place to live. The amenities (particularly the pool and community room) are great, and maintenance is fantastic. The grounds are kept in pristine shape, and the office staff is very prompt and accommodating. I have no complains and am very happy I chose Oberlin Court!

Good area with many amenities within and around the area. Parking is great here as well. Front office is a hit or miss but other than that oberlin court is a great place to live as a post grad.

we have been living in Oberlin court apartments for over 9 years. We have received excellent support and quick response from the Apartment management Group headed by Michael and Nicole and and others. All of the maintenance Group members are excellent. Everybody responds very promptly and they are thorough and very courteous and polite.

From their excellent staff, to the fantastic amenities such as the pool Oberlin Court is a fantastic apartment complex to live at. Oberlin Court is an excellent community, very responsive to any service needs. It is very close to shopping and some of the eating places right downstairs, and banking and the NCSU Campus. There is a Park nearby right across from our Building We have been living in the Oberlin Community for over 9 years. Everybody in the office is very pleasant and their response to an y of our needs is prompt and always fully satisfactory.

Oberlin Court is a safe place, well maintained, and comparably priced. Safety and privacy are key factors, having fob-entry hallways. Plus, parking garages add to safety, since our cars are not parked on streets in this large city. It's also nice to have a parking garage to move in, or carry in groceries during a rain storm! Valet trash service is also nice, especially when it's cold outside, raining, or if one is just tired or sick. Easy, comfortable apartment living! Location is excellent as well, walking distance to about everything you'd need: parks, shops, pharmacies, restaurants, physicians, hospital banks. Good central location, convenient short drive anywhere else needed, like downtown, as well as the proximity to Wade Ave. which provides a straight shot onto I-40, RDU. Nice property, well maintained, landscaped, and responsive, courteous, professional staff. Clean pool, exercise room, and convenient package delivery. When I go by the clubhouse, it's nice to hit the free coffee station, nice options I've been here three years. Several nice outdoor areas, a Zen garden, a large terrace at phase two building with a sunset view, 2 club houses with kitchens microwave, computers pool table, to allow more facility usage. It's also nice to be situated above multiple good restaurants, and a few other businesses, like a Massage Envy, I've needed and used multiple times. I very much appreciate Oberlin Court apartments!

I love the aesthetics of the property. The amenities are nice as well. Had I known there were college students above me, I wouldnt have moved here. I also have lupus, and living under college neighbors who constantly stomp has raise stress levels.
