Oak Creek at Polaris

I lived in this apartment complex and I can’t say enough good things about my experience. The management was always professional, friendly, and attentive—quick to address any questions or needs efficiently. The maintenance team also deserves special recognition: always punctual, responsible, and detail-oriented in their work. It’s also a very peaceful and safe place, perfect for anyone looking for comfort and quiet in their daily life. I truly felt at home during my time living there. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality place to live

The attentive management staffs impressed me a lot. Abby was so friendly and helped me well with my unit selection. Overall, the community is well-maintained and the maintenance services are very prompt.

Tyler He is a good office executive, he is very kind and attentive, always helping and collaborating with the neighbors, without a doubt an excellent place to live, the maintenance service is also excellent, very efficient and precise with their work.

The neighbors and staff in this community are so friendly. The amenities are great and always so clean.

I will start by saying I am not a resident *yet*. However, I have never looked forward to moving more than I am currently! Tyler was fantastic from the moment we walked into the leasing office. After touring multiple properties Champion seemed to be a good company in general, but Oak Creek stood out even against their other great communities. if you are searching for apartments near Polaris at least give them a look you will not regret it! Expect this review to be updated/edited as move-in occurs.

I absolutely love living here! I have a fair share of friends who live throughout Columbus and we are all paying about the same for our apartments. None of those friends have had as great of an experience as I have had. Every interaction that I have with the staff is great. All the maintenance staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and I do not have fear of stuff being taken if they are in my apartment while I am not there. That being said, I have not once had an unannounced visit. It is always nice to have that heads up prior even though I trust them. If you are looking for a place to live and you are still reading this, you will not regret choosing Oak Creek at Polaris. Nice appliances, in unit washer/dryer, central air, plenty of parking, quiet/safe neighborhood, close to: restaurants, the mall, grocery stores etc., great staff, and nice neighbors. Live with Champion!

Very nice and peaceful communtiy. Maintenance response is very quick and friendly folks. For those who dont know, there is a walking trail if you cross the bulk trash area at the end of community. Staff is very friendly and nice

This place is home for my boyfriend and I. For someone who moved to the area recently, I immediately felt welcomed and knew I found my new home. Oak Creek is so friendly and a great community to start life in :)

I love Champion property management! Let me rewind to about a year ago, still in Uni, preparing for an entry level job moving to Columbus. I was a mess with post anxiety attack when Abby graciously helped me get my residency situated. Ifigured I wouldn’t get the best apartment since it was a spur of the moment decision with the company I was working for. I had a lot of difficulty with other apartment rental places with paperwork and general timelines and Abby and Drew made the process so easy. They got everything handled within the day usually in a matter of minutes. Even the maintenance is on top of it and I have even looked at other Champion properties since my experiences with them. They make it hard to move!!! You almost don’t want to leave because you know how good you had it. Every facility is clean and I never feel icky or unsafe in their communities. They really are a family that you can rely on. It’s pet friendly and family friendly. Any amenity you could possibly think of; they will offer and if you’re a little shy they have resident events that make it fun and inviting. I honestly can’t say enough about the people and the services. I think anyone who chooses to live with Champion will realize every penny towards rent is worthwhile. Even if you aren’t super amenity focused I believe you’ll find something within the Champion community that will make it hard to ever want to move elsewhere. This wasn’t a sponsored review. I hate writing them and choose to opt from writing reviews but I feel like everyone should know renting can be easy and Champion makes it effortless!

My wife and I have been living at Oak Creek for just about a year now and we've absolutely loved it. There's a lot to like about Oak Creek from the amenities, like the fitness center, clubhouse, dog park, pool, and grills, to the staff and maintenance team and their determination to make this an incredible place to live. The safety at Oak Creek has also been such a HUGE plus to us since the last place we lived struggled with theft. If you're looking for an apartment to live in, this is the place!!

There's something about the Champion hospitality that makes the whole onboarding process seem extremely smooth and personalized. Regan at Oak Creek (and even Tim at NorthPark) have been extremely friendly and helpful all the way from the initial apartment tour, that puts the experience a notch above the rest. Been great so far and will update this review a few months into my stay at Oak Creek!

Hello person(s) looking for reviews on this property! I have been moved in and living in these apartments for about 3 weeks now, and the following has been my personal experience. I first reached out to Abby V and scheduled a time to view the units. Abby was very helpful, answered all my initial questions and provided me with the information for the next steps. Once I filled out the application and was approved, Abby sent me an organized check list to have a successful move-in(lease agreement, electric, internet. etc.). This made the process easy, and stress-free knowing exactly what I needed to have done. I moved in during the week of Thanksgiving, and of course my insurance company was out for the holiday, but the management team worked with me and kept the same move-in date with the expectation that my renters insurance would be completed the day of move-in. Move-in was easy, I was given a folder with even more helpful information, like setting up the community app/web login, setting up autopay, community info like recycling/mail/packages. There was also a move in gift and letter left for me when I arrived. So far living here has been great. The location is amazing, close to everything you could ever need, and PLENTY OF PARKING!!! The units themselves are designed well, kitchen appliances are great and work as intended, and I love the bathroom fixtures/sink. If I had to make any criticisms I would only have 2 so far. 1. The typical apartment living issue you find anywhere. I occasionally hear the people who live above me, dogs might bark every now and then, but nothing crazy. I do live more towards the back side of the community, closer to the railroad tracks, but I honestly find the gentle hum kind of soothing, but that might be different for everyone. Definitely not loud and nothing shaking, just a low-pitched hum every now and then. 2. This is probably just because at my last residence I had a low flush toilet, but I feel like the toilet itself is small and it uses a lot of water. Again... I'm used to a bigger low flush, but that has honestly been the biggest adjustment for me LOL. So far I have very much enjoyed living here and would more than consider renewing my lease when the time comes. 10/10 would highly recommend (in fact you get a rent credit if you do!)

Living here at Oak Creek is great. The staff are helpful. Maintenance takes one to two days max. No charge on that. A quite place to be in. They have a pool, a gym and an office with Starbucks that opens 6 am to 10 pm, so all day long basically. Pool, basketball, and other cardboard games also available.

The Oak Creek staff really knows how to treat a person the right way. In my 6 plus years of living here they took care of me every step of the way. In fact, that is really why i decided to stay so long. If your looking for a place to call home and want to be treated like family in a great location close to everything, look no further, you found the place right here in Oak Creek At Polaris!

I have been living at Oak Creek at Polaris for about two months now and so far it has been wonderful. From the getgo, Matt has been great, along with the rest of maintenance and management. It’s very quiet here and I love how nice and clean the amenities are. Definetly made the right choice by moving here!

Oak Creek Apartments has the best staff. They are so friendly and helpful anytime. Maintenance is fast and efficient. Love living here. The gym is fabulous and has everything i need to keep fit. I wanted to write this review to give an honest, candid, detailed, and thoughtful perspective of longterm renters because, as we have been looking for a new place to fit our new needs, we have reflected on our time here and wish we could find reviews like this on the properties we are looking at. We have loved living here for the past year-and-a-half and we are really sad to go at the end of our lease. We live in a one bedroom upstairs unit and have literally never had a problem that wasn't addressed and fixed right away. Our dryer was clogged, they came the same day and cleaned it out. Our carpet was fraying on the edge of the hard floors, they sent people to put in a thicker transition strip right away. Our water heater leaked, they sent someone within the hour with a new unit. The windows and doors are never drafty and provide good energy-efficient insulation, the appliances have never given us issues, the IOTAS smart-home system is so great (we are bummed that we will have to turn off the lights ourselves in the future hah!). All of our neighbors are great and we honestly never hear them, except in the breezeway. I can't speak for the two bedroom units, I imagine there might be some more noise because of children and such living in those units, but a peaceful and quiet living experience is of top priority to us and we have be quite pleased being here. Fun community events also sweeten the deal of Oak Creek at Polaris. Free Jeni's, gift card giveaways, never ending free Starbucks coffee in the clubhouse! Additionally, the office staff has rotated some in our time here, but every single employee has been professional, kind, warm, and helpful! We have noticed at other places we have toured in our recent search that we have been spoiled with our Oak Creek staff experience. They also have a sherif patrol the area regularly to ensure safety measures are intact, but we have never witnessed any crime occurring. The only negative things I could say is there is not a ton of storage in the one bed units. We have acquired stuff over the years, like holiday decorations and such, that we mostly keep under our bed because there are not many options for storage. All in all, you can't beat the location and it has been a 10/10 experience that we have recommended to many friends and family that have moved to the unit. Super glad to have been here and it has set some high standards of living for our next place!

Friendly Staff and beautiful property! Highly recommend!

It is a nice place. For the most part the maintenance is handled quickly. For things that are broken, it is next day. For other less pressing things like painting... don't hold your breath. The place is clean and I have not noted any crime. They do have a fee for the garbage. $15 They have a fee for the "common areas". (on the water bill but it is $8.50/mo They submeter the water (they make a profit on it. OH is trying to make that illegal but as it stands, it is legal... just not ethical), they charge a "fee" for billing you $15 ***So the water bills are $80/mo!!!!!!!

My family and I just moved in last month and have been enjoying the apartment and the amenities so far! The staff are all awesome and friendly; any issues or questions I’ve had have been answered in a timely manner. The apartment was very clean on move in day( of course I cleaned again) but couldn’t find one area that had a spec of dirt or dust. Loved the move in gift that was provided and of course my ultimate favorite part, the Starbucks coffee bar!!!! My children are enjoying walking on the paths near by and playing on the playground equipment. The location is excellent, close to any shopping you can imagine. The complex itself is clean and well maintained. I definitely recommend living here!

I have lived here with myfiance since 2019 and we love our experience so far Our neighbors have become like family and we love the amenities. I love how the clubhouse staff keeps us updated with changes as we battle a pandemic. My favorite feature to our home is the pool and tbh this year was my favorite because Covid hit and we practically had the pool to ourselves because of the blocked time slots for the pool. This should be done all the time! Cudos to the staff and maintenance, they work so hard!

My wife and I very much enjoyed our experience with Oak Creek apartments. The location is right next to I-71, high banks metro park, and all the amenities of Polaris! Apartments were recently renovated and there is plenty of parking. We ultimately decided to go with another Champion rental property but we really appreciated the touring experience with @Emily and @Tim and would highly recommend this place to others! -Jacob + Marla

My work moves me a lot so I have lived in a lot of apartment communities in my time. Believe me when I say it, the staff here provides the best service in the industry. I was out of town and packages were delivered to my door. They sat there for a few days until I realized it. Called the office to see if they could pick them up, within minutes I got an email confirming they were picked up and placed in the package lockers. Thankful to live at a place where the staff cares!

I moved to Oak Creek in August and love it here. Maintenance is extremely quick to come out and fix anything you put a request in for. The smart technology is great and most other apartments in the area do not offer this. I love that these apartments are updated. The staff members are extremely friendly and are willing to assist you with whatever your needs are. Everyone here minds their own business- I’ve never had an issue with any of my neighbors. It’s a pretty quiet and peaceful place to live. The dog park is also great if you have any pets!

Quiet neighborhood, close to EVERYTHING, great staff, friendly neighbors. Going from a big house back to an apartment was an adjustment but the staff have been great and helped in every way possible. Plus there’s a Starbucks coffee machine in the club house! ?? overall great place to live! Definitely recommend.

Oak Creek at Polaris is the best place to live..it's homely and affordable..the team is professional and thoughtful...all brand new carpeting and appliances..the best place to called home..Period!!

Based on my experiments living at a couple different places around Polaris, this place has everything I need and is very comfy and updated

We have lived here for 2 years, we lived through the renovations and are so excited with all the new updates. Our apartment is beautiful and the price is amazing compared to places in the Polaris area. The front desk people are amazing and so patient and excited to answer our questions. We really love calling this place home and will continue to.

I moved into these apartments at the end of March and I have been very happy with the whole experience. The employees in the office are amazing, very attentive, thoughtful, and helpful. (Specific shout out to Ally!!) . I looked at the model about 5 times before I moved in and they happily showed it to me everytime. They were great with my kids and even had the idea to put balloons in their room the day we moved in as a "welcome home" gesture. So far and above the call of duty! All of my maintenance requests have been handled right away, even though none of them have been emergency requests. The neighborhood is nice and quiet at my end- I have no complaints about noise from my neighbors (I can barely tell anyone lives around me) or the trains outside. The playground is great and I'm looking forward to going to the pool and the brand new gym.

I LOVE IT HERE! I've lived in the community since 2016. I'll admit, the transition, during the renovations were a little inconvenient, BUT SO WORTH IT! We love our smart home. The app is also great to use if I forget to shut off a light or whatever. My boys also love bossing ALEXA around. They also love to play tricks on my when they are away at their dad's but shutting off a light when they know I'm home. Not just HOME. I also love the community. The office staff have become family like. Ally and Lindsey are excellent and always super quick to respond to any needs. Maintenance is also fantastic. They always clean up and leave without any notice (except the visit slip) of being in the home. Lastly, I've also used IOTAS support (the smart home app) and they were also very helpful and quick at resolving any issues. I love it and I'm sure you will too.

We chose this location as our first home when we relocated to Columbus, OH and I’m so blessed by its beauty and cleanliness. Recommended for sure.

The apartments at Oak Creek are wonderful! The community garden, play set, and lovely pool area are real gems...but, what makes Oak Creek especially great is the friendly and helpful staff.

Even though I've been living at Oak Creek for a short while, I've had an amazing experience. Maintenance has been super responsive and the support staff incredibly helpful. The community is quaint and well kept. Our small dog loves the dog park, so this place is perfect for animals. Though the community is located in a busy part of town, you can't hear the usual noise of hustle and bustle. The updated apartments are absolutely magnificent and impressive. If you're looking for a place to live, Oak Creek is it!

Absolutely love the community and the Property Manager Andrew. He listened to our requirements clearly and keep them in mind and made sure we get them on time which saved a lot of time , money and more over made our family hearts happy. more than any its a mental satisfaction due to his efforts to make our move easy like cake walk. And the best part is they are renovated to latest upgrades.

I would love to brag on the best apartment complex in the city......OAK CREEK AT POLARIS. I lived in these apartments back in 2008 and had the best stay ever. I loved the apartments so much that I moved back in 2017-2018. I worked with Joe most the time, he is the coolest. The pool is so nice and so much fun and very relaxing. Great thing is they offer Chase bank discounts. All the staff are friendly and very down to earth. If you have a maintenance issue it is handled asap. The neighborhood is quit and very family oriented. I wish I could stay longer but I moved to GA. If I ever come back you Ohio, I will move in for the 3rd time. I will miss all the staff and overall the peaceful environment.

I had to be move to the area in a short period of time. I stopped in to look at an apartment and Andrew took us around right away. The staff here is wonderful! The apartments are newly renovated and very modern looking. I love it! Needless to say I had signed and paid for my first month by the end of the day. They are always thinking of new and great ideas in the neighborhood and they are not done yet. They are in the middle of building a new clubhouse and getting a gym! I am so excited to see what they do next. Any problems that I have had so far are addressed and fixed in a timely manner. I highly recommend living here to anybody. Come and live with Champion! You wont regret it.

My fiancée and I moved in Oak Creek at Polaris last month and this is by far the most professional office staff I have experienced. Joe and Andrew took the extra time to show us several apartments and we found the one that suits us best. OCP just built a playground, dog park and raised garden beds to plant your own garden. Also there is a new pool and grill facility that blows any other places we looked at away! Overall A and we couldn't be happier. B&R

Great place to live! The leasing staff are fabulous and always willing to help in any way they can on a moments notice. I put in a maintenance request when I first moved in and they had it done the same day. They have truly made me feel at home. The new amenities are wonderful and easy to keep clean. Can’t wait to enjoy the heated pool this summer!

Last night my dryer stopped working. Come to find out it was due to low voltage from the outlet. I called the emergency maintenance and within minutes, Jamie called and said he was on his way. He did inform me, that it would take a little while as he was driving from Marion. He arrived within 45 mins! He was great!!! He informed me of the process and was very polite. He had to run to several properties to get the supplies needed but didn't seem to be inconvenienced at all. The maintenance staff that Champion has is top notch.

I have only lived at Oak Creek for about 6 months, but I am amazed at the quantity and quality of the upgrades since I got here! I have lived in a lot of apartments over the years, and it seems like the management companies only care about getting your rent money and could not care less about repairs and upgrades. Not so at Oak Creek. Since I moved in they have replaced ALL of the windows with energy efficient units, replaced ALL of the siding, made great improvements in the pool area, put in a community garden and upgraded the areas around the buildings. They have also remodeled any unit that becomes vacant with marble counter tops, stainless appliances and smart tech. Upcoming this coming year are a new office building and community center, workout facility, and playground. To say I am impressed would be putting it mildly!! I intend to stick around for quite a while!

We have spent almost 4 years in Oak creek at Polaris apartments and would highly recommend it. Nice and clean apartment with plenty of green and open space for kids to play around and lakes to watch fishes and Goose. Very helping and professional support and maintenance staffs. Maintenance request process is simple and quick and most of request has been done same day noon.

My family and I moved here from California amd we couldn't be happier with our apartment, it's clean, quiet and updated: being able to control our fixtures, thermostat and lighting via Alexa is a huge plus. The staff is welcoming, thoughtful, and professional. I signed my lease and moved in, in less than 24 hours.

The new upgrades at Oak Creek are awesome! I was really impressed by the changes made and the addition of smart technology to the units really takes them over the top!

Oak Creek is definitely a great place to live, the staff is friendly and the neighborhood is quiet. Whenever i have a maintenance issue, i can call and have someone there the next day with no issue. The staff is very easy to talk to whenever i have a problem, i know i can call or just walk in and not feel any type way because there are very helpful and want to help you. They keep the complex clean which is a great thing because no one wants to be in a dirty complex. You can tell that the staff values the community and its residents, which makes it a great place to live and want to continue to live for years but also a community that you can recommend to your friends and family and their friends and family as well. I hope that the staff and the neighborhood stays the way it is because sometimes it's hard to find a great community but also a great staff that is willing to work with you care about your well being of where you live and that also values safety of where you live and wants to keep you safe. That's why with them even doing the recently upgrading of the community that is still in the works, i guarantee that this will be a great place to live and want to continue to live.
