North Mountain Village

I love living here, very quiet neighborhood even on weekends. The neighbors are friendly and the and the maintenance is always on time. This place has security late at night as well, I am very comfortable walking around late at night if I have to. Can’t beat the price. Interiors may need some updates but they are functional. Definitely will try to renew my lease before it ends.

My family and I love living here! We have lived here for 8 years and can't imagine moving. It is so nice to be able to walk to the stores when we need something. Everything in our apartment works and it is a friendly atmosphere. The maintenance team is so fast and very kind. I have recommended friends to live here and they are happy here as well. Much more affordable then other surrounding communities.

Heads up, they will cancel your lease with almost little to no notice, they will leave you homeless an then blame you for not seeing a notice that they can’t even guarantee you will receive.

Horrible place, full of insects and roaches, very old and everything inside is broken,. My apartment smells so bad I see a lot roaches everyday start from the first day I moved. Horrible management and they don’t care about anything. Be careful when you deal with them on the phone don’t believe anything on the phone. Scary place I don’t recommended anyone to move there at all. Save your money an try to find a place somewhere else.

I think it to be something like a resort for apartments and should be treated that way regardless of your own personal messes and mistakes. Beautiful atmosphere, more to see here than most spots in Phoenix. It's like taking a little nature walk but in your own neighborhood here.

I have been living here for 8yrs the manager is awesome as well as the maintenance team I have to say I always had a positive experience living here and would recommend this complex to others in research I found it to be one of the better ones here and they do care about improving things anyway they can I have to say I been happy living here and if I decide to move it won't be because of north mountain or anything they have done I been treated well as a resident here from the first day I moved in

North Mountain Village has been a pleasure to call home. Management is friendly, maintenance is timely and professional, security is on patrol and the overall appearance of the complex is inviting. If there is anything I need, maintenance and management have always assisted with pleasure. North Mountain Village is wonderful.

This is a warm, friendly place to call home. Families coexisting in one community in harmony. I'm glad to be a part of this community.

I enjoy living at North Mountain Village, have for over 24 yrs in one apt alone. I like everyone at the leasing office, they listen to you. Love the landscape.

I would definitely recommend North Mountain Village Apts to all my friends and family. The management is very easy to work with. Plus, the office is always involved with the community, by having planned activities for the people that live here. I have never seen that at any apartments I have lived at, through out the years. Moved here from out of state back in September. Let’s just say I moved in and out in the same day. These pictures are very deceiving. The community is dirty and the apartments are filthy!!! They allowed me and boyfriend to move into a roach infested apartment! And it wasn’t until we got all our stuff in did we notice. The back bedroom was infested. They were all in the carpet and coming out of the walls. Ruined our mattress and some other things! We also had drug addicts below us, picking up cigarette butts off the ground to smoke. I wouldn’t allow my worst enemy to live here. Unsafe neighborhood.

What sets North Mountain Village ahead of other apartments is its professional managers and support team. Second is its maintenance team. This team, led by Leo Lobelle, keeps this large apartment complex, functional and optimal.

North mountain village apartments are very nice and clean. Staff was very open to any complaints and was handled in a timely manner. Everyone is welcoming and dog friendly!

I love living here. The stores are within walking distance. It's a huge complex and there's some cool things like the picnic area on one side of the complex has corn hole and its right next to a pool. I have the smaller one bedroom and it is pretty small. But it works for me. I feel it's a little pricey for the size but other places are changing way more. I wish I had the bigger one bedroom. But overall it's a great place to live. The staff is friendly and they keep the complex looking nice.

The community is truly beautiful, but, the apartments, they take you back to the decade the apartments were first built, and the appliances, a stove with no light in it, or a timer, and a solid door, the burner plates are screwed in, and the stoves put next to a wall, no wonder the paint on the wall is bubbled, from a past rent having the burner heat to high.The appliances show their age. The kitchen wall opening is crooked, its leans by a 1/4 of an inch, and the floor also leans. It you spill water on the floor by the stove, the water runs towards the sink. The kitchen cabinet style is outdated, the cabinets inside aren't very tall, and also lack depth, and they really show wear and tear. The walls show, many layers of paint applied. The front door frame is the original door frame, warped, the door latch plate needed replaced, the old plate was the original plate put in, probably built in the 80's. I've never in my life seen a bedroom closet, lackibg depth, and half of the floor is slanted, not very practical, especially to be used as a good storage area. The bedroom floor design plan, its not practical. The bed can only be placed next to the wall, hard to change the sheets. All the air ducts throughout the apartment are all to close together to allow a more even air flow, and that's why theirs inadequate air flow to the living room, causing the living room to be hot and stuffy, theirs not enough air flow to keep the living room temperatures comfortable, and a lack of an even temperature throughout. The mirror in the bathroom is peeling, and really showing it's age. The apartment really does need a face lift, badly.

They came to spray my apartment for roaches not too long ago because of neighbors and now I dont stop seeing them. Didnt even have roaches before but then they came to spray god knows what and the dude managed to do all 4 apartments in under 10 minutes and now I dont stop seeing roaches.

The neighborhood is fashioned in a very valuable and expressive way- the landscaping is complimentary to a worthwhile and ideal way of living. There are unique flowers scattered throughout, just so happen to be planted right there in front of your door at times, no you don't have to grow them. All kinds of beautiful vegitation, including many good sized trees and considering the concentration of them, you find more trees here than any other small area of Phoenix so it seems. In comparison it is quite lush. Of course there's a bunch of pools and jacuzzis that cost a bundle to own if you're not lucky enough to live in spots like this. Shopping takes two seconds to get to, bless this North Mountain Village!

Favorite apartment complex i have lived in, in all my years of leasing!

Solid location. Landscape perfection. Grade A Office and maintenence crew as well as the rare* feature of unassigned parking with room for everyone and their brother. All you need to get by under one roof.

We have lived at North Mountain Village Apartments for almost 6 years. The manager and staff has been excellent!!

I was a resident at NMV for 7 years. The apartment was not new when I moved in, chipped countertops, water damage to cabinets, broken drawers and lots of superficial damages. I have the move-in inspection documents noting all of this and I'm still getting charged for their lack of upkeep after moving out. Problems I had to fight with the leasing office to deal with while living there: an AC unit leaking black fluid on the carpet... took a full bucket to the leasing office when they would not send maintenance out after multiple requests and was asked "is this an emergency?", a flooded apartment (100+ gallons) from a toilet flood where I lived in a humid, swampy apartment for 3 days running AC constantly... apparently the leasing office didn't realize the flood was "so serious" for days. Also my fridge stopped working while I was out of town due to a breaker issue on their part... my fridge never worked in the last month I lived there and I was told to deal with it and clean the maggot-infested fridge myself. The mass population of roaches I encountered during my stay prepared me for all those bugs, so I guess my experience came full circle. Pretty much the office staff will be nice to your face if you act like you don't have any problems or they don't see you as someone who stirs the pot. Their opinion of you can and will change in an instant the minute you question anything regarding policy. I received a bill for $430 when I moved out to replace countertops that weren't new when I moved in. If you are a good tenant, expect to pick up the bill for this apartment complex because they are financially struggling and will nickel and dime you for everything if they smell money. Maintenance is fantastic and kind, but the people in the office are backstabbing and some of the least professional variety of desert scum I have ever had the displeasure of knowing. Don't bother trying to contact corporate to help with these bills, they are unavailable and uninterested. This property can't afford to pay its bills and will use ugly methods to get their money whenever and however they can. The next time you see glowing reviews about beautiful upkeep, free meals once in a while and other lures to get new tenants in, just remember that money came from someone else's sweat and tears.

Great location with fabulous amenities. You would be foolish not to check this place out if you are looking for a new apartment.

Great staff, great location, lots of places close by to shop

There were a couple minor things that were not working properly but maintenance staff was very responsive and quick to get taken care of. Our initial leasing agent at apartments left right after our application was approved and we had a couple of special requests of what we were needing. We were worried that these requests were going to get overlooked but the person that stepped in (Jessica) did an outstanding job and everything went smoothly. Excellent communication by the whole staff with everything and had no issues listening to all my questions. And if I called while they were busy and wound up having to leave a voicemail they would always call me back, and almost always within the hour. They definitely went over and above for us and I thank them for everything they did to get us what we were asking for. Definitely happy with our choice of places to move in to!

I've been at North Mountain Village for almost 10 years. I love the Property Manager and staff, the maintenance team and also my neighbors. It's an affordable and comfortable living for me. A win-win situation.

North Mountain Village has the best staff on site, beautiful grounds outside & amazing amenities always kept clean and maintenance is great! The apartments are very spacious the layouts are perfect. Im a returning resident who never wants to leave again as its feels like home. Definitely recommend this beautiful community!

Beautiful property excellent caring staff feel really safe here not many issues I seen since I've been here with police that is truly a blessing that it doesn't seem like there are a lot of criminals around here our only issue has been a stolen bicycle off of our balcony

NMV Apartments are in definitely one of the best apartment complexes in the Phoenix area. Management team and maintenance done for the facility is excellent. I have lived 4 years now, and planning to stay here for longer time. I recommend that you check it out before sign with other places, you might be changing your mind and move to NMV instead :)

This community is the most I have lived in for long. It is a community centrally located thereby making it easy to commute to other areas/convenient stores.

Wow, the front office and maintenance team are outstanding. When u call in a work order it gets done as soon as possible. I am fortunate to give a great review to all the personnel that work hard to make each resident feel at home. The service is great and well maintained. Apartment complex is really clean and beautiful

The price is great, they help with first time renters. They helped me a lot and I got my apartment reallly quick ! Martin helped a lot !

The property is peaceful, clean and safe. The amenities are great and the overall atmosphere is awesome!

Nice apartment complex and i love that everything is near by.

Lived here for a year and as a first apartment. I already didn't have high standards and I'm baffled that it could get lower than that. Maintenance takes weeks, if not months, to respond to requests. Constant water leaks which leads to water shut off. A fellow tenant stated that their fire alarm went off everytime the heater was turned on. AC tends to leak water every few months. AC also stops working for weeks on end due to maintenance not repairing but giving you a cheap portable AC. Our carpet and windowsills began growing mold. Honestly, not worth it for just a 1 bed/1 bath.

Don’t even bother coming to live in these apartments they are the WORST And very disrespectful !!! The maintenance do nothing but sit around and be on their phones plus drink on their job and don’t fix nothing! Can re paint over the nastiness appartments but can’t pay to fix the GATES so definitely not safe at all would not recommend would be wasting your time!

This review is for the maintenance team they are the best ever they are prompt courteous and always a joy to deal with whenever I need something done they are always right there to do it and as always michelle is one of the best managers she is fair and addresses all your issues I have to say that north mountain is an excellent place to live they are constantly making improvements I want to thank the maintenance team for being so nice and efficient in solving issues that arise in our apts

I have lived here for 7 years & am extremely happy with the staff & property. The assistant manager Paige is always helpful when I need assistance & I am also grateful for the fact that Michelle has been the property manager since I been here. If I could give a 10 star review I would.
