The hilly, wooded neighborhood of Canyon Creek resembles a nature preserve more than it does a neighborhood – that’s until you notice the beautiful homes tucked into the trees. Canyon Creek provides a peaceful, park-like atmosphere that’s just 20 miles north of Downtown Austin, directly north of Concordia University Texas, southwest of the Austin Aquarium, four miles south of Lakeline Mall, and just five miles from Lake Travis and Lake Austin. Travel down 620 to do your grocery shopping and grab a quick meal – you’ll find a variety of options here, including H-E-B, CVS, and Home Depot.
Canyon Creek features one neighborhood park. Trailhead Park is located on the north end of the neighborhood and includes a covered playground, a walking path, plenty of shade trees, a basketball court, soccer fields, and picnic areas. Terrible experience — within the first weeks the bathtub had a hole, the AC failed multiple times, and an outlet was smoking. On top of that, the overall environment even drew in APD, which dragged me into an incident I should never have been exposed to. It was stressful and exhausting to deal with constant problems instead of feeling at home. This was the worst apartment experience I’ve had, and I wouldn’t rent from this company again.

We love the neighborhood, it's quite and safe. The office staff are always helpful and kind. Great maintenance. The location has many advantages. There are many restaurants in walking distance. It's just 5 minutes to pharmacies, HEB, and ATM's.

Clean, quiet, safe community for children, secure and neighbors are friendly and attentive. Great school district, I have one in HS, one in MS and one in Elementary. Affordable & spacious floor plans. Perfect for families! Gym and pool are always well kept.

I've been a resident at Nolina Flats for going on seven years. I've chosen to stay here because I love the property itself and all the surrounding trees and wildlife. I also very much appreciate the wonderful amenities that they are consistently maintaining and/or improving. The office and maintenance staff are super friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to respond. My apartment has always felt like Home Sweet Home to me and my son and I really couldn't imagine living anywhere else.

Nolina Flats Residents For 2 1/2 years now 5/5 stars-l and will be until I have to leave the Austin area. Excellent service, always prioritize tenants and are truly understanding and professional. Unfortunately I am a smoker and I can't even smoke on my porch. I have to drive out of the complex. It's a plus and a minus. I just didn't know until I signed my lease. I didn't pay attention to the signs. Oh well. Over all it's been a quiet and beautiful place to live

Overall this place is great. However, the dog park is in need of a serious renovation (full of rocks, very little grass in the summer, and not enough shade).

I have consistently experienced the best residential support services of my life with Nolina Flats Property Management. The staff are friendly and helpful… Anytime I have submitted a maintenance request I have received a prompt response. Whether it was changing light bulbs, replacing/removing furniture, or servicing the plumbing and electricity, maintenance quickly and thoroughly ensured that I have an optimal living environment they are so awesome!!!! This is my 2nd apartment and this has been the best one yet me and my puppy loves are new place it’s only been 4weeks and we are ready to spend the holidays and make memories here !!

Its been peaceful and relaxing. No complaints just yet. Just wish I had a garage. But I live in the 3rd floor. But either way, the make ready has been one of the best ones I have ever seen. Not to many problems on move in day.

Front office very nice and respectful very quiet and clean in the complex pools are clean love how you can go to the front and play pool this place made me feel like home before I was even approved.

I just moved in. As I been loving it so far. Everything looks clean and peaceful. I would like parking spots to be more available. But other than that everything is perfect even the price is perfect!

Great staff, ok neighborhood/ I personally do not enjoy the 620 traffic, but there’s plenty of places around here for sure for entertainment/ eateries, awesome amenities, surrounded by lots of nature, Low noise levels

Lifelong Austinite and long time resident of Nolina Flats. I love my neighborhood! So grateful for the wonderful amenities this complex provides, not to mention the gorgeous scenery provided by the beautifully treed lot. The office and maintenance staff take the time to get to know you and are prompt and professional. I've adored this hidden gem for years and will most likely stay a few more!

I cannot say enough, good things about the team here at Nolina Flats. It’s been a great experience working with the girls in front office . Melissa sold me on the place and answered everyone of my questions. Also Maintenance is here same day or next day if you have a problem with anything. I would definitely Recommend.

I love living here. My family and I be leaving soon but if we ever need to move back in this area we’ll definitely have this complex in mind. I think staff are great! All office women are great! Very nice and friendly.

5 starslovely place to live...super service and personnel! "a great place to call "home". The entire staff always greet you with a smile and are very helpful to our needs, and are quick to attend to any problems that arise . The grounds and facilities are kept clean every day by friendly courteous workers. The workout rooms are open 24//7 are rarely crowded and the pool area is lovely. . . I live alone here and could not feel safer anywhere else....a beautiful neighborhood with dog parks and trails."the community was an extremely beautiful, well kept and peaceful community. Everything was so beautiful that I felt like I was at a resort. The office staff was extremely accommodating and friendly also. It could not be better located and was amidst a lot of shopping, restaurants, transportation and schools. It offered amenities that most communities did not." It’s been so quiet and peaceful out here so far. Everyone seems nice and respectful. The pool area is really great even tho I haven’t been down yet but that is next on my list :)
Great maintenance! Every maintenance request has been taken care of promptly and efficiently. The property is well maintained and there is a regular trash pickup.
Residents very greeting pool is nice and clean apartment is worth it front office management is very good . The gym is nice residents clean after themselves.

It’s not tooo bad , nice quite but parking lot can be better and a second pool would be cool , I like the easy access to the side street and stores

Noisy upstairs neighbors constantly stomping around and arguing. We’ve gotten tons of false complaints about our dogs barking “non stop” when they never do. I’ve noticed people leaving bags of dog poop laying around. Kids run around the streets unsupervised in front of cars. The upkeep of the community is nice though and there are many food options around as well as 2 HEBs. The staff are pretty nice. Kind of overpriced though especially when looking at multiple room apartments. Might as well rent a house for $500-$1,000 cheaper.
