Property Ratings at Newport Apartments
I recently shifted here. Optimum person was here to setup the internet but we realized there is no electric port provided in the apartment to setup internet services. Called the emergency maintenance person, he came to check and trust me he was absolutely blank, he didn’t have any idea and he was talking to us like we are responsible for that. Now, we are without internet. Let’s wait till the time an electrician will come and fix this.

I've lived here for almost 22 years, The property is very clean, well maintained (maintenance department is amazing!!) and beautifully landscaped. It's a lovely, hardworking, and sociable community. The grounds are extremely well lit at night including all interior doors, stairs and hallways, as well as well exterior doors, sidewalks and the entire courtyard. I feel very safe here - it's peaceful and tranquil with only one exception - there are many many small children here who generate a great deal of noise!! But once school starts, things will go back to normal. Without reservation, I would recommend this property to any of my friends!!!
I lived in Newport Apartments, Maintenance people are very slow , they took 2 weeks to fix my A.C. in peak summer time. Leasing manager Bill is the worst person I have ever seen in my life.He is arrogant and harsh person.He is working there from last 30 years so he feels like he owns all the apartments. This place would be a better place to live if they replace Bill with some decent person.
There has been numerous incidents at Robert Treat and Newport Apartments in the past 2 weeks (June 2016) and no action has been taken by the management. Some are doing drugs inside the front door of the apartments near the stairs claiming to be charging their phones. Bicycles have been stolen from the premises as well as GPS has been stolen from the cars. Also, there have been physical injury to the residents (one person was bleeding on his lips when he was hit by the intruder) and the 2nd person has injured and has suffered fracture on his hand when hit by the intruder. PLEASE ENSURE TO DO YOUR COMPLETE HOMEWORK BEFORE RENTING IN THIS COMPLEX. Residents went as a group to the management office on Saturday, July 2, 2016 to complain and asked the office manager, Bill to take immediate action and the residents also made suggestions to keep the premises secure, but to no avail. It has become a TOTALLY UNSAFE PLACE FOR RESIDENTS. Women are now scared of taking a stroll with their children. If someone knows a criminal attorney, please post it here so that an action can be taken against this management company.
